I hope you keep making videos man they're really fun to watch and good job for sticking with training tuck planche even when it felt like u weren't making progress, thats the difference between those who achieve the impossible and those who don't
Good luck on ur new job bro been stuck on tuck planche for a while been focusing on hip mobility and I decided I needed to learn the splits to pass the barrier
Dont worry man respect given 💪 I just started follow your beginner workouts this year, and im starting to see muscle form, dont think I would have been motivated as much iv I didn't see your vids, ill now be using this as a long term goal, im also 6'3 and just turned 30 but im feeling the best iv felt in about 4 years. So cheers mate keep this up.
Going from tucked to straddle is the barrier most people find it difficult to cross. But once you make it, further progression is much more smoother and faster
A big thing to realize when learning these skills, is progress doesnt always look like progress. If your stuck on a certain progression for weeks/months/years, as long as youre training hard and recovering well, you can be confident your muscles/tendons/bones are adapting and strengthening. Plateus are often overcome very suddenly. Ive been stuck on tuck planche for a number of months (well, years really, because I stopped training for a while), but now im getting more comfortable with the advanced tuck. But i'll tell ya, it took an UNGODLY amount of repetition and time to get there.
This tall dude is really a legend. Just think of the extra lever he needs to balance for the extra leg weight....I'm 5'11 and I just felt tuck pl -> adv tuck pl is near impossible.
Do you condition your wrists as well? I have wrist issues so I'm unable to weight bear on them, but I really want to get into body weight training as soon as I heal! Love the sprinkles of humour in your vids!
The 2 straddle Planche Push-Ups had me dying 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Bro did the chris heria intro😭🤣
Hi Colin, try to bridge the gap by using a light band support for the straddle.

nice message there at the end about it eventually coming together and progress happening after a consistent struggle
