I love how the box was packed to bad some was damaged. All the mains looked great sounded more HQ then normal Russian rations. That would feed quite a few for sure. Awesome find and Review Nathan. Now you can make some Nathan Russian rations with all the awesome components. .
This is not the largest ration. There is a ration called RPK-M (Complex food ration - monthly). Just like the ration in the video, it is used by the FSB (Federal Security Service) to supply anti-terrorist teams. However, this ration has another use. Do not forget that the protection of the country's borders is also supervised by the FSB. The monthly ration was designed to supply remote outposts and other hard-to-reach duty stations. There is a review of this ration on the Russian channel "Military Shop". The video does not have English subtitles, but an automatic translator can give a rough idea of the meaning of its words. th-cam.com/video/jbDEt5ATx9c/w-d-xo.html
I'm not sure where that ration came from, but it looks like something that would be perfect for a bug out situation. Love your videos. I want one of those kits.
@@outdoortactical4727 I'm just surprised that they would put loose can openers in the bottom with soft cans, which would obviously have a risk of damage from the can openers. Seems like a dumb mistake from someone packing rations for a group of hungry soldiers. You would think they would know better.
@@christinevenner183 if its russia probably the owner of the can opener factory knew somebody in army procurement and suddenly for 1 can per person of the ration they needed 6 can openers :D
For a person just starting to think of purchasing some MRE 's what would you recommend for a first timer. Long car trip with very little stops Oklahoma to Arizona.
Your knife gets dull because you buy and use cheap junk knives! 🤣 you spend way more on the MREs. By the way love the videos you have come along way! Keep it up!
As soon as i got it here i opened it to make sure that nothing was exploded on the inside , once we seen there was some damage we taped it back up and immediately did the review, if i would have let it sit weeks it would have been all rotten
That's the thing with cooking tins on those little stoves, you can't put it on the heat and go do something else, you've got to stay with it or it'll just burn
Good heavens mate what a monster pack. 300 dollar I reckon? Pity some cans were damaged .... I often wonder how you manage to eat the whole bunch together lol. Invite the neighbours I should say :) Super :)
That translator is all over the place - might as well learn the Russian cyrillic alphabet and memorise the relevant words, because at least 50% of what comes up on that screen is gibberish.
Minimum of six days. Assuming they are being active or in a high calorie environment. Longer if they are not doing anything. Then possibly 10 days to 2 weeks.
...good one, big enough to feed a small family for a few days. ..lol....stay safe, bon appitit..

"Definitely", not "defiantly".
Dude killer Ration! I’ve never seen a small team one before! Super impressive! 😲
Damn at the end of the video when it’s all laid out...so much variety!
Great job Philip getting the food right in front of the camera! What an awesome ration. Great job guys! Like the end. Lol!
That is a lot of food.
Could sustain 2 people for a few days if needed.

Wish I could run across a large ration like that, could eat on that for over a week. Definitely a good addition to my bug out kit.

Me too! So many interesting foods.
Same
Great find and nice to see, shame about the damage but at least it didn't ruin the rest. Like the extra at the end too.
Hi Nathan! Good review! Huge MRE! 👍😎
Thanks Nathan you and Steve let me know that these are available to try out. I love trying food from around the world
I bet you do....
Have you ever done one that wasn’t “a very special ration”? Never just ordinary rations.
NOT EVERY DAM RATION IS SPECIAL AS NONE ARE !!!!!!!!!- :)
it's called clickbaiting lmao
Let's think of more adjectives to put before the word rare
Great video! My favorite rations are Portuguese, both army and navy
Hello buddy! Very nice review, but I'm never seen this ration in our army ( yes I'm from Russia ) looks like you surprise even me with this video :-)
I was thinking it looked like someone just shipped some Russian food in a box.
@@christinevenner183 No, this is real army mre. Looks like it's used in mobile base or something like that.

Thanks Nathan. Interesting ration.
I have Russian and French mre reviews it might be a couple days I work in the operating room so we're catching up from covid
What is your channel?

Good 📦 to go bush with.Nice.
Great job!
French and Russian MRE looks so much more savory than American because they are canned meats and vegetables.
Kinda. But keep in mind that our /russian/ MREs offer way, way less variety.
@@ghaspar and remember, US Mre’s are designed to constipate you (on purpose), so it is not a good idea to eat them for an extended period.
Awesome ration! I would love to try any of this ration!
Thank you Nathan. That Russian food looks so good.
Very cool ration.
Nice find Nathan
Nice
You suppose to warm up them without opening. 1 minute on each side starting with the top one
Wow! You could break that down and make a lot of individual mre’s
Hey man if you ever want to get rid of some of that stuff, I'd love to try it.
For a person just starting to think of purchasing some MRE 's what would you recommend for a first timer. Long car trip with very little stops Oklahoma to Arizona.
How do you get your mres through customs without your meat entrees getting taken. I’ve had numerous mres “flagged” and the meat taken out.
I wouldn't mind one of the can openers if you don't already have a taker for them.
Looks great 👍
great review lot of stuff wouldnt mind trying the kasha
Can u heat those still sealed? Or maybe just crack the lid a bit and cook that way?
Cool
Do you still have any of this left? I'm not to the end yet but looks killer .
Yea i believe i do, if you need something let me know
Your knife gets dull because you buy and use cheap junk knives! 🤣 you spend way more on the MREs. By the way love the videos you have come along way! Keep it up!
That o ion main would be right up my alley
Not gonna run out of any of those soon
That is one huge ration Nathan.
I wouldnt mind a main or two. I enjoy them.
very cool ration!
How do you know it's authentic when it has tape all over, is that because of inspection?
As soon as i got it here i opened it to make sure that nothing was exploded on the inside , once we seen there was some damage we taped it back up and immediately did the review, if i would have let it sit weeks it would have been all rotten
I thought the pea soup was supposed to be mixed with one can of water and the can of meat (Tushonka) to be heated.
Vegetable caviar is a spread it’s supposed to go on bread like fish caviar hence the name
They should have packed the tin openers in like a tin or something to seal them in as that’s probably why some of the foods were damaged
That is quite a find!
That's the thing with cooking tins on those little stoves, you can't put it on the heat and go do something else, you've got to stay with it or it'll just burn
Supremely rare
Considering its one of the Russian mres, I wonder where all the chocolate went?
Where did you find that??? Super cool.
You should get your money back or replacement for the damaged mains. They should know to pack the can openers away from the cans!!
Russians everywhere are cringing watching you attempt to eat this😂
Good heavens mate what a monster pack. 300 dollar I reckon? Pity some cans were damaged .... I often wonder how you manage to eat the whole bunch together lol. Invite the neighbours I should say :) Super :)
$163
@@NathansMRE Ohhh that is reasonable :)
@Henry MRE Rations Hey Buddy, I just visited your MRE station. Awesome boy! :)
Whatever happened to the KiWi dude who started the whole ration thing? He disappeared? He was a pioneer.
You should try a Greek ration, if you can find one.
This package is for a six soldiers, maybe for six commandos, i assume!🤔🇬🇷
That translator is all over the place - might as well learn the Russian cyrillic alphabet and memorise the relevant words, because at least 50% of what comes up on that screen is gibberish.
Before warming up the canned food does not need to be opened
I think its probably for a 3 man team because a bunch of components were in 3s
How can I order this. I'd love to try it
Are you using a solar panel for a table
RBMK ration - not great, not terrible.
4:23 Soup Huy xDDD
great review. id like to get one of these. can we buy this nathan?
How long do you think 1 person could live of this ration?
Minimum of six days. Assuming they are being active or in a high calorie environment. Longer if they are not doing anything. Then possibly 10 days to 2 weeks.
camping trip , yes.
Mix things. Add the butter to the buckwheat. You think Russians don't?
That’s a lot of food. Holy smokes.
Where do you get your rations from
Where do I buy and MRE from
Would be better to see these prepared in the field.
How much on e bay ?
Where can I get a knife like that?
Where can I buy that ration

It's kinda funny that Russians in the field are eating dogs and you've eaten their lunch...
would sell some this ration to a non-reviewer
I've been craving Russian food again, I'd kill for 5 peoples worth 👿
7:45 I would rather drink milk wet than dry
with care, planning, foraging(fish, mushrooms greens, small rodants, ect) and trade this could easily have one man for 2 weeks.
I'm having a hard time finding rations
Mremountain dot com (i dont put actaul links in comments) has rations and always in date unless specified for quick sale
I usually buy mine from a guy selling them out of the trunk of his car at the end of a dark alley ... if the FDA is asking anyway 😂
Just them in boiling water.
what do you mean we dont eat buck wheat in the united states we sure as hell do have you never heard of buck wheat pancakes
