    LG has better motion than Sony. The A95L has horrible motion, but no one is talking about it. So if the G4 is a big step up in processing, I believe it will indeed beat the A95L.

    • @TaylorCFP
      @TaylorCFP 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you say it has worse motion, in what way? I have the G3 and the motion processing is good, but I haven’t been able to play with an A95L settings and compare.

    • @paulcox2447
      @paulcox2447 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TaylorCFP Sony tends to leave more jutter than LG does. Since OLED's have such fast pixel response time Sony often leaves it still looking blurry. If you prefer smoother motion LG tends to do more. With the g4 it can turn up the interpolation during fast scenes and then dynamically bring it back down when action slows down. This will help reduce the soap opera effect while still giving the jutter free panning LG is "known for".

    Great video. And I need to thank you. I live in the UK and just bought a 55" Philips 2023 OLED model. It uses the LG MLA panel. Your reviews gave me the confidence that MLA can match QD OLED. As a Samsung S95B owner I used to believe the hype that MLA can't compete. I shouldn't have worried. MLA 1.0 is fabulous and I'm sure 2.0 will be an absolute winner. In terms of presenting color accuracy and faithfulness, QD panels are inherently better because of the underlying technology. I think it makes sense you got rid of the samsung, it's not bad but compared to these two giants its struggling. Love the close-ups, it shows the difference much better than a far away shot because the far away shot tries to balance the light between the two screens and makes them look darker or lighter than they actually are. Can't wait for your comparisons with the G4! If the G4 can close the gap with the sony I may end up getting that instead later this year to save some money. I'm still not sure if the QD-Oled is worth the difference for me. I do really like the look of it in all these comparisons, I'll probably be doubting my choice right up until I actually get it. The samsung is a no go for me because 3D pop and fine details are really important for me. But man that QD-Oled color pop is just incredible sometimes.

      @AnEvilCat. Hey thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Means allot. Yea I know I wish there was a better way to show all these tvs without making one look more dim compared to the others. The colors on the G3 and the A95L for the most part are very close besides certain colors like red, green and blue. Maybe yellows/oranges. Game mode could be a bummer on the g3 for many due to being more dim which can have a negative impact on colors not look so vibrant. And thats what makes the qd oleds so attractive. But it seems as if that has been addressed somewhat better with the upcoming g4 model. Either way I do think being able to control your tone mapping is such a game changer in general. That alone I'm excited about

      @ExhibitD79. Hey, nice to hear from you again. I think personally, game mode is great on the g3. Brightness may have been a downfall in game mode, but it has the best game optimizer menu in the business. Plus, you can put color up some more to make up for lack of it. Just gotta be careful cause you can clip details and / or certain highlights. But it's funny cause although the s95c is brighter in game mode, when setting it in a more accurate setting, it looks dim too. And only certain colors look better than the g3, not all of them. Yes, color purity is an advantage of a qd oled, but the g3 has better processing and better depth of view. I just think lg doesn't get enough credit for game mode. But yes, supposedly, the dim look has been resolved, and with that, naturally, the colors should look closer to a qd oled in theory.

As far as motion and brightness, they can enhance processing, and add all the Micro Lenses they want.
