Oh believe me I know him. Other than the fact that I absolutely hate the cheap annoying wild goose, personally I'd say that Shao Kahn (Mortal Kombat) makes Geese look like a baby duck. Years later Geese Howard is still the best guest character of tekken and that is why he deserves to be in tekken 8 this time in a canonical way as a secondary villain like Akuma was in tekken 7 and this time in the base roster so that he can now really fulfill his wish to end the mishima and kazama clan

FYI, Heihachi never made any crime organization like Geese did, but some ordinary people in Tekken universe considered him evil, nonetheless.
On the other hand, Geese is, iirc, the chief of security (some kinds of police chief or whatever) to the people of the upperworld, the crimelord to the underworld, but the ordinary people in Real Bout or KoF Universe do not consider him evil, they even regard him as a hero.
Their biggest similarities are they fight with traditional martial arts instead of dynamic one, and they eagerly want power, though they have different reasons on why they want power. If anything, Geese shares more similarities with Kazuya rather than with Heihachi.
All that said, the most possible reason for Geese to attack on Heihachi is his thirst for power, political power to be precise, since the world is somehow in peace when Heihachi is being the head of Mishima Zaibatsu.

I just realized what they did for showcasing Geese's Rage Art. Heihachi did a move called "Rashomon". Geese crushed it and did his move called "Rashomon". Very clever.

Since you all don't know about Geese's Voice actor, he was voiced by Richard Epcar (Who voices Raiden, Akuma, Azazel, Joseph Joestar and more) and that's why his voice is so recognizable and his famous quote to anyone is PREDICTABO/PREDICTABLE is so cool. And at the end of the video, we can see Geese falling off the building. Just like the other games where he falls off many times and he's SNK's Worst Nightmare and why? You cannot escape from Death.

Smash 4’s newcomers were primarily protagonists. While Smash 5... Eh, but Ridley and K. Rool are pretty high profile antagonists, plus it’s the first time ever that Ridley was playable (don’t remember if K. Rool was or wasn’t... X3 )

Not really. Akuma is a bit like Heihachi, in that he's somewhere between villain and anti-hero, often appearing in other games for comedic effect. Besides that, Akuma is usually a secret character while the real antagonist of SF is M. Bison / Vega
Akuma is still very much a primary antagonist of the series. Not every antagonist needs to be a super-villain, they just need to be someone that actively interferes with the protagonist in some manner. He intentionally antagonizes Ryu by trying to bring out his Dark Hadou as well as Gouken by, you know, sorta killing him but not really. He's never a member of the supporting cast in a traditional sense, he's either actively functioning as an antagonist or just lurking around behind the scenes waiting for his chance to do so while constantly training.
Also he hasn't been a secret character since the Alpha series.

From then on I got into fighting games. Por si fuera poco, Tekken 7 es uno de esos MUY RAROS casos en donde el DLC se torna la razón principal de mi interés en un juego. Con un poco de suerte - y a juzgar por la recepción de estos personajes invitados - si Bandai Namco se propusiera a hacer un juego de peleas "crossover" en el futuro, entonces habrá sustento real para creer que lo harán bien.

Feels good finally getting Capcom VS SNK 3
This is better than a potential Capcom vs. SNK 3, simply because Capcom doesn't have their filthy, money-grubbing hands on it, and Namco actually pays proper respect when they work with other companies' characters.
Yeah Capcom VS SNK 2 was the last Capcom fighter I actually cared about lol, and while I actually like SNK VS Capcom SVC Chaos (mostly out of nostalgia and it being the only crossover in existence to have MMZ Zero) I'll be first to admit it was mediocre at best, objectively speaking.
CVS2 was also the last Capcom fighter I cared about with every fiber of my being. I fucking hated SF4. Never liked it, not even its many revisions. Too many mechanical problems. I want to like SF5 because at its core, it has good gameplay, but they're treating it like a shitty mobile game with how they handle content distribution and the balance takes a lot of cues from NRS games, which I also hate.
Thanks to Terry in Smash and him, Infor my attention to KOF, and after discovering Heidern and Ash Crimson, I finally pushed me to play it. This was an awesome trailer for an awesome villain.

Considering the trend, it's probably going to be Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot or Smoke. Geese is the main villain of the Final Fight series and Akuma is a bonus boss villain.

scabab Actually, I think he's pretty much confirmed because in an interview months before release of the game, Harada wanted 2 guest characters: 1 that's from a fighting game and 1 that's not. Harada boldly picked Geese but not much is said about the non-fighter character tho.

I don't think Capcom has a clue anymore what fans want, Tekken is going hard based on fan feedback, as is KOF, Street Fighter which was my favorite of the three major fighting games is going down hill, FAST.
