Another great video Darren Dave,Drove through Glencoe a couple of times on the way to camping in the North it really is a stunning place,in the video 17:18 in you reminded me of Spiderman😀, love the idea of the Roof tent
Lovely spot. Got great memories doing The Bidean ( no idea of spelling) years back in winter. When Ive been to Skye , every time I'm tempted to stop and do more. But haven't!..... Loved that pitch. Beautiful....even with those clouds 👌
Nice one thanks, I’ve thought of a roof tent for a while for my Landrover, but like you never really saw one it liked. I do like the look of yours though, and as get older the long drive back especially in the winter after an overnightervgets harder, so a roof tent would be handy, not bad really about 2k! Thanks for the info. Nick
Cheers Dave, fantastic area and what a fabulous pitch. Being meaning to venture up to Scotland just the distance puts me off, may have a look at rail prices hitting the lakes on the way up.
hey, Dave , that was another great camp with some stunning views, really gorgeous. Dave , I got to tell ya, if you continue to inform us that you're not a bagger. It makes you look guilty 😂😂😂😂. Dwayne
Nice one Dave , its a cracking hill that one for the views . I. think its 6 times i've been up there now , did you not go to the summit ? The tentbox i've thinking about getting one myself , they look perfect for touring and using as a basecamp ...cheers Stevie
Dave - boring geology chat but your observation that it looks like Pike o’stickle is not far off the mark in that the rock is very similar - they are both Ryolite. Lovely film as always
Nice video Dave. Tent box looks great. Would love to camp on Beinn á Chrulaiste looks amazing. I camped further along from there a couple of years ago on Stob Mhic Mhartuin which is also stunning. ATB mate 👍
Another fantastic video, and a beautiful pitch. The TentBox looks awesome. I have a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect with a camper module fitted, which folds down behind the back seats so still have full use of all five seats. Gets me away for long weekends without the worry of arranging accommodation.
@@TheSoloSummiteer I think there is some sort of app mate called ‘Park for the night’ or something like that. It tells you where all the free parking spots and lay-bys are in n your area or where you want to be.
@DAoutdoors yeah I’ve got the app. I’ve found that roof tents are not welcome in a lot of locations due to them having no toilet facilities, unlike camper vans and motor homes🤦🏻♂️
You look very happy with your camping buddy, certainly nice to see, Scotland at its best .
Nice film Dave. Great views in an awsome area I've always said I should go to.
Hope the back is on the mend mate👍
Its is Simon. Thank you 🙏🏻
Fantastic Dave, I love Glencoe, brilliant viewpoint. I climbed that myself a good 10 Yr ago. Thanks for sharing.
Nice one Phillip. Yeah, Glencoe is fab 🏴⛰️⛺️🙏🏻

Thought it was just me old lugs.
I always get my sunrise and sunsets mixed up 🥴. Can’t get away with anything 🤦🏻♂️😂👍
Thought you were going to drag the tent box up there on rollers. Nice pitch mate.

@@TheSoloSummiteer enjoy mate
Cracking video, looked like a great trip overall. Camped on that twice, it’s just such an iconic hill to pitch up on. Want to do it as a winter camp
Yeah, awesome views from there Robert. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice vid, when I lived in Kinlochleven I always knew it wasn't far when I saw the Buachaille.
Yeah, love driving Rannoch and Glencoe 🙏🏻
@TheSoloSummiteer did it in a converted community transport bus in a blizzard once, it was bloody crazy 🤣🤣
😎👍. I’ve done it in a Honda S2000 with the roof down, in snow ⛄️ 😁
@@TheSoloSummiteer 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very enjoyable as always Dave.
BTW what is the correct spelling of Evi's name?
Nice one Kelvin 😎👍
It’s Evgenia 👍
Great video mate. Looked a good spot. Not been to Glenn coe yet but it's on the list
Cheers bud 👍
Love your channel mate, watched for ages and realised I hadn’t subscribed. Just subscribed from a fellow TH-camr 😉👍
Much appreciated Phil 👍
How’s the back Dave?
Thanks for asking Stan. I did it just after the end of this video when I got back to the car. It’s on the mend now tho. ATB 👍
great video
Cheers Richard 👍
Just started watching this on the TV. Give us a clue - any red wine involved? 😅😅😅😅
😁 no wine 🍷 😂
@@TheSoloSummiteer No Wine!!! I'm just watching you drinking 19 Crimes before bagging :)
My profile pic is of almost the same pitch 😂 and I agree what a view.
😁👍
Hi Dave. Wonderful video as always mate. I think it’s safe to say you’re pleased with the tent box. 😃🏕️
They are a great bit of kit aren’t they?
Aye. Still trying to work out how best I can use it in terms of where I can pitch overnight (not campsites)?
