Upon listening to Dr. Javed Jamil and Muslims like him, I am reminded of another group of people with a similar rhetoric: the communists. Communists have had a very rosy vision for the future of humanity too, envisioning a society free from exploitation and poverty. Like Dr. Jamil, they aspired to create a society with little or no inequality, no crime, and healthy living conditions for all. They, too, wrote extensively on how to achieve their utopia, much like Dr. Jamil has. For over a century, communists endeavored to make their dream a reality. However, their vision never fully materialized; the closest they came to was establishing socialist societies, but never a true communist society. If you ask a true communist why their vision was never realized, they will argue that political and ideological opposition from liberal capitalists thwarted their efforts. According to communists, the failure lies in the weakness of their forces and the strength of the liberal capitalist opposition. One thing a communist will never fault, however, is communism itself. He will always insist that if only enough people could recognize the benefits of communism and there was no opposition to their vision, we would be living in an eternal garden of Eden right now. Same is the case with Dr. Jamil and people like him in my view. They insist, if only people were to accept their ideological worldview, most, if not all of our problems would be history. Not realizing, their so-called vision, is nothing but a castle in the sky.
So, you refrain from what you say: "envisioning a society free from exploitation and poverty. Like Dr. Jamil, they aspired to create a society with little or no inequality, no crime, and healthy living conditions for all. They, too, wrote extensively on how to achieve their utopia" Sad I though we all agreed on a established peace and system in place which focused on intellectual prowess of humans. Also, whilst giving this as an example, you are committing 'false analogy', a logical inconsistency. You poison the well symbolising how dr javed is just like communist, however you obv missed ethical and intentional context behind his reasoning. Watch how I can equate you to a Naz! because of these dishonest dialectics: 1) You exist 2) Naz!s existed 3) Naz!s and you both are similar in existence 4) Therefore you are similar to Nazis
