The first CJRB is a Feldspar and the second one is a Crag.

Love the Esee 6...I had a kydex sheath made for it. I prefer the taco styled sheath for it-slimmer profile.

Same! That would definitely elevate the knife

I have both the 6 and Junglas. I'd say the Junglas is the perfect one tool option if you're willing to carry the weight.

I just bought the esee6 chestnut mountain blade. I got 2 esee4, a 3 and an izula2. I wanted to get the cm6 as it won’t be a around forever like the full line up of mass produced blades.

I have Both Esee 6 and Esee 5 knives...but I really have to say is I like the Esee5 better the yhe Esee6 why...for one my Esee6 is Sharp. But my Esee5 is Crazy Sharp...and when you hold the Esee5 you feels like nothing can stop you....the Esee6 knife is Thin and it's just a good you dont feel anything like the 5 when its in your hand..I have alot of Knives and my Esee5 is one of the Knives I would pick in a life or Death situation...and my Coldsteel Trailmaster....I going to get the Recon Scout next month at lest i hope I do...its om my wish list..and now the Warcraft knife will fellow

All Purpose? I would say not without a few modifications. Not a good food prep knife with their toxic coating. Also not a good spine for scraping from the factory. Good starter blade...

That’s a good point! Thanks for bringing it up. And it’s true, I wouldn’t want to do food prep with this guy

I've done a ton of food prep with mine. Never hurt me

And it's stupid east to put a 90 on the spine

I was a little disappointed that the ESEE 6 was compared to knives very different to itself. Why no comparison with the Cold Steel SRK, or the Falkniven A1?
The SEK in particular is the basic benchmark knife for 6in blades, so why not compare them? Comparing it to the ESEE 5 makes no sense, as they are so very different.
    So, how about it? (Please?)

I do much more prefer hammer pommels to spikes. Utility>tactical.

They only sell their stainless knives uncoated currently, which unfortunately is not offered in the 5,6 etc. I asked them about that and their response was that uncoated 1095 blades just didn’t sell well. Wish they would upgrade their steel across the entire line. 1095 is “tried and true” but has been far surpassed. ESEE has kinda a dinosaur mentality imo.
