Once you feel no Conviction then I'd be worried, because how can one change if they are not convinced and convicted to change. Holy spirit is working. Sadly many Christians won’t agree with me when I tell them this but to live in this flesh, even though you are a Christian, you will NEVER not sin. Not one single person has gotten saved and has not sinned after conversion! Deliverance from a particular sin may be instantaneous or one may spend their entire life struggling with this sin, despite Christ’s finished work! Everyone, myself included, sins in their speech, thoughts, and actions everyday! We even sin in our dreams! It’s unavoidable! However, our walk with Christ shouldn’t be about “sinning less”, but more on Him! In 2001 I committed murder and was sentenced to 48 years in the Department of Corrections and Rev 14:10-11 torment me, as to not knowing whether or not my victim was a believer or not. I am in agony over this, and like king David, who rightly quoted by way of the Holy Spirit in Psalm 51 writing in verse 3, “my sin is ever before me”! I look to the finished work of Christ, and His grace and mercy get me through the valley’s of life! When I reflect on that terrible mistake I made, the workings of the flesh manifested in Galatians 5 spring up causing me to sin again! It is a never ending, vicious cycle of pain and suffering, which is right where the god of this world wants you to be!
I needed to hear this today. I was getting tired of repenting for the same sin every other week, and I just knew God was getting tired of hearing it. That feeling makes me feel so far from God and so hopeless. That feeling is called condemnation, and I know it’s not of God. Thank you for this word. 🙏🏽❤️

This is so true. I needed to hear this. Literally I have to repent like every day because it’s been getting do bad. It honestly frustrates me and temptation is at an all time high. Im doing my best

Man I’m tired of being in a cycle of repentance and slipping back into the same stuff. I HATE IT. and more recently, I’ve been feeling more upset and sick and what I’ve done, like my conviction is growing. I feel that I’m nearing the end of this and that God is helping me get through this addiction but I’m tired, because I feel like a let down, but I’m grateful that He loves us, and his grave is sufficient for us. Im ready to change FOR GOOD. I’m ready to break the cycle and live a life of obedience and full surrender to God. I fallen to lust, anger, and fear too many times. I rebuke it all in Jesus’s name. I renounce it all and I’m proclaiming that I NEED JESUS. I’m speaking it in advance that I’m healed physically, mentally and spiritually. I understand what you mean it feels impossible to ever fully be repented. I HATE sin and I want to make God happy. All these pastors I feel as if they got free from their sins so easily, but I know they got problems with their sins too.
When you repent you are fully repented cause God takes that sin away an puts on the cross with Jesus. Meaning Jesus blood washes over you cleansing you daily cause he lived the life that we couldn't so through him we are free from sin. Don't ever feel like your bound by sin cause your not if you truly have a new heart you no longer sin but its the flesh in you that still does that but the day is coming when you will never sin again an you will gain heavenly bodies just like Jesus. We are all unworthy of it but God loves us enough to blot out are unworthiness an cover us in his love an blessings an promises. Clutch on to his word an everything else will fade away :)
Thank you all for the encouraging words. I’m happy to report that after I made this post, I went to church Sunday and fully surrendered to Christ. I felt lighter, and I’ve been free from the repetitive sun that was in my life. Temptation comes and goes, but I fight it with the word of God and I still pray and ask for forgiveness for everything. Repentance is not an event or a feeling. It’s a lifestyle, and I’m committed to living a lifestyle of repentance. God bless y’all, and thanks again to my family in Christ. 🙏🏽

We are no longer under the instructions of proverbs, the school master. Jews have a hardened heart that needs the word engraved into like the tablets of the law and expand on it by meditation and fasting as with prayer. We as Christians are not under the same conditions for our heart has through the power of the holy spirit been replaced softened and filled with the unconditional love of God with wisdom and understanding who is Jesus our friend. For sin has no power against a Christian for its power is the second death, but Jesus has saved us from the second death.

As I write this im quitting vaping after relapsing a few days ago throughout this week. I have a persistent cough and im worried i may have given myself something serious. Since typing this I found out about using nicotine-less vapes, halls cough drops/mints/normal gum and vick’s vapoinhalers and those have helped me eliminate cravings big time this time around + reading the word daily of course. A day or two before my original comment I had quit by submerging all tobacco products in water. I think it felt symbolic and helped me meditate on how much effort I put into actually accessing these nicotine products. I know what works for everyone is different and God can help you through all things, but i know sometimes God’s blessing implements responsibility and planning on your own part to be able to fast from the addictions that keep you. So even though I know God can give you strength, these products helped me be more responsive to the improvements God is trying to help me overcome. If i can do it, you can too! God bless you!

Her belief in the Savior still counts toward her for righteousness even as John said. This way. We never boast and can always level with fellow sinners because without Christs atonement we would all be screwed. Christ paid it all in full. Gods grace is sufficient enough to cover all of her sins past present future. The pastors kid and the prostitute are one in the same. Salvation was designed by GOD, and all the requirements for salvation were provided in Jesus. It's His work on the cross that saves us, and keeps us saved. Repentance -Metanoia (Greek) means change of mind when you read the Gospels the audience are the Jews. They believed that mastering the Law would save them. Jesus preached to show that we can never master the Law. Repentance means to put your faith in Jesus to save you and not yourself, your works or following the Law. You are BORN AGAIN the moment you believe in Jesus "repent" change your mind". You become a child of GOD FOREVER. Sinning then has no threat of Hell since we are saved. However, sin has its own consequences. If I drink and drive and get caught and go to Jail being saved won't prevent the consequences now. Sin might also prevent some blessings in this life and the LORD may chastise us. Sin might damage relationships. However, Eternal Hell is off the table forever. Hopefully, this helps. Take care.

In this case, it’s through this TH-cam video, because I wasn’t aware that all the slang words that I was using was displeasing towards the Lord. There aren’t any scriptures that pertain to TH-cam, but the principles of the many ways for God to lead you to repentance are the same. How i finally got free of cigarettes: I recently got saved about 4 mos ago or so. I had continued to smoke maybe a pack a day, saying God would have to take the craving away and then i would quit... (insert any sin here in place of smoking)... One night it dawned on me that Jesus DIED ON A CROSS for my sins. Literally bled out for me.... and I am over here saying that i can't endure some physical or mental discomfort, in order to follow Him to the best of my ability. I realized how lukewarm that was, and wept uncontrollably... I then made a decision to approach not smoking (insert your sin of choice- I would imagine this could work for anything) like people use fasting from food; anytime I had a craving, i would lean in with prayer, and use it to GET CLOSER TO HIM.... Anyway long story short, I made it through a morning doing that, and He completely took away any and all cravings for it!!! I still have to overcome the habitual aspect, and have grown closer to Jesus than ever in this process! Highly recommend!
I learned i think the exact prayer in school and i still remember it by heart "Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our tresspasses as we forgive those who tressprass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen." And then we would complete the prayer as so In the name of the father (top of your forehead) And the son (middle of your chest) And in the holy spirit (both sides of your shoulders) And then we say amen again ^^ Those were times of my life where i was always at peace school ^^

Remission of sins is received through repentance, a change of mind is not repenting of sins. Also refer to John 3:18. Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness that through his name whosoever BELIEVETH in him shall RECEIVE REMISSION OF SINS. Notice how God didn't say "whosoever repent of sins shall receive remission from sins." If you still believe that repenting of your sins will save you, you have diminished God's completed work on the cross of calvary. You have not fully 100% trusted that He saved you from your sins so you go out of your OWN WAYS to REPENT OF YOUR SINS thinking that this will save you! It is impossible to not sin after you're saved. Do you know each and every little sin you committed each day, each hour, and each minute? You are not God. You are not omniscient. 😀
This message was what I desperately needed to hear because I haven't prayed in so long because I felt like The LORD was fed up with me.😢 I have repeatedly repented and have repeatedly gone back to sin. Oh wow My parents taught me the "Our Father" prayer since I was really young and taught me to say it when I wake up and before I go to bed. To realize that I've been repenting in the morning and night this whole time without me even knowing; I'm so grateful they taught me this and now I'll do it even more often throughout more parts of the day❤ I'm 15 yrs old about to be 16 next week and I'm exciting to really get started and into the word of God more than I was before HALLELUJAH JESUS❤❤✝️
@@qsummr I am not sure what part of the prayer has repentance in it. Jesus was the only one to forgive sins. But Jesus is no longer on earth. So when he appeared for the last time to the apostles after resurrecting. He gave us confession, in john 20:22-23. So that the priests may forgive sins in his name.

I can't thank you enough for this video. I fall into sin every day, Every day I repent and try something new kind of a "Right, That didn't work to stop it what about this" I am glad that What I am doing it right I was worried I was missing something. I am a relatively new Christian, A Year ago you wouldn't find me anywhere near a church, Yet alone praying. But I have had a wonderful but hard journey. My life was full of sin and I have made some changes to it. One thing that has helped me is your videos explining various concepts keeping in scripture and tieing them to it, It is wonderful... You are wonderful. The one thing about this video that stuck out is about the holy spirits conviction. I see a lot of Christians have a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and you can see how it guides their life and emotions. I have not yet had an emotional encounter with the Holy Spirit so subconsciously I had some doubts that I have ever felt it, But every time I sin or do something that doesn't honour god I feel so bad and want to pray, You confirmed that this is the Holy Spirit, I has certainly put my mind a piece. The best things for me has been to constantly remember the Lord saved you for a purpose and to be forever grateful, but also keep reflecting how much he is having to change you from old ways and that the Devil hates it. I think this is the simplest yet most best description of Sanctification. That Foundational repentance and then the ongoing repentance/sanctification flip was fire. I’ve never even thought of putting it like that. Great work man!
The reality is that if you find yourself committing the same sins, then you never really repented for them. True repentance is to realize you made a mistake, see and understand how it was wrong, learn from the mistake, feel real remorse for it, then never make the same mistakes again. That is real repentance. By acknowledging that you believe in Christ, you also acknowledge that you know the law. Anyone who claims they are a believer in Christ who still commits sins that they know not to, that sin is actually heavier than that of a person who does not believe in Christ. It is much worse to break a law when you know it is violation than not knowing the law and breaking it. One thing I notice that most mouth prophesing christans do these days is going around proclaiming themselves to be saved. You are not saved until it happens and the only person who can make that judgment is God the Father. Not you or anyone else aside from God can make that decision. Going around and saying you are saved is a terrible sin and deception that the devil has placed upon the modern day christian. This is because you take judgment out of God's hands and put it into your own. The same is done when you say someone is going to hell. It is not within your power to decide these things nor is it in your place to do so. Doing these things makes you put yourself in the place of God and effectively makes you into your own false god. As God stated he will not have any other gods put before Him and the other biggest false god in this world aside from mammon or the devil is self. So don't go around judging yourself or others to be saved or damned. You are not God. Repent of this sin and to truly repent is to not continue to make the same mistake. Do as Christ commanded in order to walk the path of righteousness to inherit the kingdom of heaven because nothing has changed since Christ gave those directives.

We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. We are mere human being, and subject to sins and mistakes. God gave us a Bible verse that says, "If we confess our sins before God, He is faithful and just to forgives us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9, in the New Testament. For a long time i was away from the lord after enjoying my salvation for some years. Then i walked away from the lord. I returned back to my own vomit one of them is smokimg. I have returned to the lord and asked him for deliverence but i has not happened. Now i seek the lord every day but the holy sprit does not talk to me the way he used to when i first got saved. I don't have much room to talk here, because I myself am guilty of not giving Jesus the love and respect he deserves by living my life for him. But I do know that even when you're running, the Father is chasing after you. You don't have to have it all figured out. All you need to do is turn around and the Father will come running. I myself need to stop running and turn around and let him catch me. I am 33 and have been running for far too long. It's not easy to live for God, but it's well worth it. I just need to keep this in mind.

I remember taking a shower a pretty long time ago and repented. And that was the biggest thing i probally was a part of. I heard him saying stuff in my mind. I couldn't understand. But i knew one thing. THOSE words we're true words of love and truth. After i Got out of the shower i felt Jesus hug me from behind from the heavens. And i felt tears of hapiness. But they didnt Come out thats how happy i was.

Sadly many Christians won’t agree with me when I tell them this but to live in this flesh, even though you are a Christian, you will NEVER not sin. Not one single person has gotten saved and has not sinned after conversion! Deliverance from a particular sin may be instantaneous or one may spend their entire life struggling with this sin, despite Christ’s finished work! Everyone, myself included, sins in their speech, thoughts, and actions everyday! We even sin in our dreams! It’s unavoidable! However, our walk with Christ shouldn’t be about “sinning less”, but more on Him! In 2001 I committed murder and was sentenced to 48 years in the Department of Corrections and Rev 14:10-11 torment me, as to not knowing whether or not my victim was a believer or not. I am in agony over this, and like king David, who rightly quoted by way of the Holy Spirit in Psalm 51 writing in verse 3, “my sin is ever before me”! I look to the finished work of Christ, and His grace and mercy get me through the valley’s of life! When I reflect on that terrible mistake I made, the workings of the flesh manifested in Galatians 5 spring up causing me to sin again! It is a never ending, vicious cycle of pain and suffering, which is right where the god of this world wants you to be!
I needed to hear this today. I was getting tired of repenting for the same sin every other week, and I just knew God was getting tired of hearing it. I understand what you mean it feels impossible to ever fully be repented. I HATE sin and I want to make God happy. All these pastors I feel as if they got free from their sins so easily, but I know they got problems with their sins too.
When you repent you are fully repented cause God takes that sin away an puts on the cross with Jesus. Meaning Jesus blood washes over you cleansing you daily cause he lived the life that we couldn't so through him we are free from sin. Don't ever feel like your bound by sin cause your not if you truly have a new heart you no longer sin but its the flesh in you that still does that but the day is coming when you will never sin again an you will gain heavenly bodies just like Jesus. We are all unworthy of it but God loves us enough to blot out are unworthiness an cover us in his love an blessings an promises. Clutch on to his word an everything else will fade away :)

I felt lighter, and I’ve been free from the repetitive sun that was in my life. Temptation comes and goes, but I fight it with the word of God and I still pray and ask for forgiveness for everything. Since typing this I found out about using nicotine-less vapes, halls cough drops/mints/normal gum and vick’s vapoinhalers and those have helped me eliminate cravings big time this time around + reading the word daily of course. A day or two before my original comment I had quit by submerging all tobacco products in water. I think it felt symbolic and helped me meditate on how much effort I put into actually accessing these nicotine products. I know what works for everyone is different and God can help you through all things, but i know sometimes God’s blessing implements responsibility and planning on your own part to be able to fast from the addictions that keep you. So even though I know God can give you strength, these products helped me be more responsive to the improvements God is trying to help me overcome. If i can do it, you can too! God bless you!

Salvation isn't a partnership between you and GOD. Salvation was designed by GOD, and all the requirements for salvation were provided in Jesus. It's His work on the cross that saves us, and keeps us saved.
Repentance -Metanoia (Greek) means change of mind when you read the Gospels the audience are the Jews. They believed that mastering the Law would save them. Jesus preached to show that we can never master the Law.

The first thing we see when reading Scripture is Romans 3 tells us exactly who we are.

If we examine every verse in Matthew 5 the result is that we will see we can't ever meet the LORD's standard.

Paul asks the question because salvation has nothing to do with ceasing to sin.
Trying to flee from sin is for 2 reasons, to honor the sacrifice the LORD has made.
If I say to my child "it hurts me when you do this." Hopefully, my child will stop out of love, out of not wanting to hurt me. However, I may have to chastize them if they continue willfully.
Yet they remain my child, regardless of what they do.
John 6:38-40
38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Repentance means to put your faith in Jesus to save you and not yourself, your works or following the Law.
You are BORN AGAIN the moment you believe in Jesus "repent" change your mind".
You become a child of GOD FOREVER. Sinning then has no threat of Hell since we are saved.
However, sin has its own consequences. If I drink and drive and get caught and go to Jail being saved won't prevent the consequences now. Sin might also prevent some blessings in this life and the LORD may chastise us. Sin might damage relationships. However, Eternal Hell is off the table forever.

In this case, it’s through this TH-cam video, because I wasn’t aware that all the slang words that I was using was displeasing towards the Lord.
There aren’t any scriptures that pertain to TH-cam, but the principles of the many ways for God to lead you to repentance are the same.

This video explained a lot of what im going through. I was that person trying to get to a place where i wouldn't have to repent because i just simply wouldn't sin anymore but truth is we have to repent daily. If that wasn't so, the bible would not have said it. I felt i was simply failing to repent period, if i couldn't just be rid of something one time. This gave me clarity and guidance. Thank you🙏❤

How i finally got free of cigarettes:
I recently got saved about 4 mos ago or so. I had continued to smoke maybe a pack a day, saying God would have to take the craving away and then i would quit... (insert any sin here in place of smoking)...
One night it dawned on me that Jesus DIED ON A CROSS for my sins. Literally bled out for me.... and I am over here saying that i can't endure some physical or mental discomfort, in order to follow Him to the best of my ability. I realized how lukewarm that was, and wept uncontrollably... I then made a decision to approach not smoking (insert your sin of choice- I would imagine this could work for anything) like people use fasting from food; anytime I had a craving, i would lean in with prayer, and use it to GET CLOSER TO HIM....
Anyway long story short, I made it through a morning doing that, and He completely took away any and all cravings for it!!! I still have to overcome the habitual aspect, and have grown closer to Jesus than ever in this process!

I learned i think the exact prayer in school and i still remember it by heart
"Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our tresspasses as we forgive those who tressprass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen."
And then we would complete the prayer as so
In the name of the father (top of your forehead)
And the son (middle of your chest)
And in the holy spirit (both sides of your shoulders)
And then we say amen again ^^

Remission of sins is received through repentance, a change of mind is not repenting of sins. Also refer to John 3:18.
Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness that through his name whosoever BELIEVETH in him shall RECEIVE REMISSION OF SINS. Notice how God didn't say "whosoever repent of sins shall receive remission from sins."
If you still believe that repenting of your sins will save you, you have diminished God's completed work on the cross of calvary. You have not fully 100% trusted that He saved you from your sins so you go out of your OWN WAYS to REPENT OF YOUR SINS thinking that this will save you!
It is impossible to not sin after you're saved. Do you know each and every little sin you committed each day, each hour, and each minute? You are not God. You are not omniscient. 😀

I am a relatively new Christian, A Year ago you wouldn't find me anywhere near a church, Yet alone praying. But I have had a wonderful but hard journey. My life was full of sin and I have made some changes to it. One thing that has helped me is your videos explining various concepts keeping in scripture and tieing them to it, It is wonderful... You are wonderful.
The one thing about this video that stuck out is about the holy spirits conviction. I see a lot of Christians have a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and you can see how it guides their life and emotions. I have not yet had an emotional encounter with the Holy Spirit so subconsciously I had some doubts that I have ever felt it, But every time I sin or do something that doesn't honour god I feel so bad and want to pray, You confirmed that this is the Holy Spirit, I has certainly put my mind a piece.

The best things for me has been to constantly remember the Lord saved you for a purpose and to be forever grateful, but also keep reflecting how much he is having to change you from old ways and that the Devil hates it. Daily reading of scripture is a must in arming ourselves against falling into old ways ✝️ 💪

I think this is the simplest yet most best description of Sanctification. That Foundational repentance and then the ongoing repentance/sanctification flip was fire. I’ve never even thought of putting it like that. Great work man!
The reality is that if you find yourself committing the same sins, then you never really repented for them. True repentance is to realize you made a mistake, see and understand how it was wrong, learn from the mistake, feel real remorse for it, then never make the same mistakes again. That is real repentance. By acknowledging that you believe in Christ, you also acknowledge that you know the law. Anyone who claims they are a believer in Christ who still commits sins that they know not to, that sin is actually heavier than that of a person who does not believe in Christ. It is much worse to break a law when you know it is violation than not knowing the law and breaking it.
One thing I notice that most mouth prophesing christans do these days is going around proclaiming themselves to be saved. You are not saved until it happens and the only person who can make that judgment is God the Father. Not you or anyone else aside from God can make that decision. Going around and saying you are saved is a terrible sin and deception that the devil has placed upon the modern day christian. This is because you take judgment out of God's hands and put it into your own. The same is done when you say someone is going to hell. It is not within your power to decide these things nor is it in your place to do so. Doing these things makes you put yourself in the place of God and effectively makes you into your own false god. As God stated he will not have any other gods put before Him and the other biggest false god in this world aside from mammon or the devil is self. So don't go around judging yourself or others to be saved or damned. You are not God. Repent of this sin and to truly repent is to not continue to make the same mistake. Do as Christ commanded in order to walk the path of righteousness to inherit the kingdom of heaven because nothing has changed since Christ gave those directives.

For a long time i was away from the lord after enjoying my salvation for some years. Then i walked away from the lord. I returned back to my own vomit one of them is smokimg. I have returned to the lord and asked him for deliverence but i has not happened. Now i seek the lord every day but the holy sprit does not talk to me the way he used to when i first got saved. I don't have much room to talk here, because I myself am guilty of not giving Jesus the love and respect he deserves by living my life for him. But I do know that even when you're running, the Father is chasing after you. You don't have to have it all figured out. All you need to do is turn around and the Father will come running. I myself need to stop running and turn around and let him catch me. I am 33 and have been running for far too long. It's not easy to live for God, but it's well worth it. I just need to keep this in mind.
Ask Jesus to increase your faith, like th apostles asked him in Luke 17:5-6

Repentance of sin is a type of work that's done actively. Jonah 3:10. And God saw their WORKS; THAT THEY TURNED FROM THEIR EVIL WAY;
Titus 3:5-6 NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (REPENT OF SINS) which we have done, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US by the washing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE, we should be heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
ALSO We cannot turn from all our sins which means that we still have unrepented sins. That makes any churchgoers guilty when they think they need to repent of their sins to be saved from condemnation. That's why God's sacrifice 🙏, burial, and resurrection is the one & only narrow path to be saved. He did all the work. Humans just need to believe in His work on the calvary. God bless.
List where Jesus Christ says exactly the these words, "repent of your sins to be saved." Nowhere is it found in the Bible. If we need to repent of our sins to be saved, then Jesus didn't need to die for our sins.

I remember taking a shower a pretty long time ago and repented. And that was the biggest thing i probally was a part of. I heard him saying stuff in my mind. I couldn't understand. But i knew one thing. THOSE words we're true words of love and truth.
