@J J good question. Christ forgives our sins if we confess our sins and turn from them. That is, choose Him over the sin. He helps us to achieve that, and progress forward sinning less and less. He doesn't expect perfection, but He does help us improve and become more like Him.. He knows our hearts, and knows if we are sincerely seeking Him and working on sinning less. That's not uncommon. But you need to be determined now to find the truth about it from the Bible and be sure that you have understood God's message exactly as intended. Acts 20:20-21 20 [You know] how I did not hold back from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying both to Jews and to Gentiles repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. If you do not believe God's word about sin and what living for Him in this wicked world is about, and the wise choices He invites you to make if you want to live for Him and receive his gift of eternal life, then that will explain an unending struggle with sin. But Jesus did not give his life for you to struggle with sin. He died for your sins to be forgiven and for you to be an overcomer of sin. You must submit to God. That is essential: James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 1:21-22 21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him [...].* Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

Rather, Jesus says this to anyone who has an encounter with Him: "I do not condemn you; now, *go and don't sin anymore"* (John 8:11). That's when a sinner who repents receives a clean slate to start walking in God's ways. Jesus did not command something that was impossible, but something that is doable with his help when we are in complete submission to Him and only want to do God's will, e.g. submit to God and resist the devil so that he flees (James 4:7). Temptation to sin does not have to lead to taking the path of committing sin (James 1:12-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Peter 4:1), let alone doing that over and over. That shows that the last "repentance" was not genuine, in fact, and that a person is rebelling against God's ways, not wanting to be in submission to Him 100% and obey Him out of love (John 14:15). Ultimately, all believers need to *abide in Jesus* and relate to what this scripture says: 1 John 3:6 Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. The first step to experiencing this deliverance from sin is to believe that it's possible.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to give up porn and keep my eyes on Jesus. I made it 2.5 weeks and fell into it again. I praised Jesus when I made it to the end of the weekends and the second week was easier than the first, but the third week in, my resilience began to falter. I’m going to run again to beat that record! Satan’s been telling me, “What’s the point? You’re just gonna fall again.” but this time I’m running for a month. And when I hit the benchmark I will rejoice in Jesus and go another week, and another, and if I fall again, I will have built even more endurance to run again and go further. I will not let my sin keep me from spreading the love of Jesus to those around me. Doing the Word is easier said than done, but I want my inheritance in the Kingdom. If Jesus comes, I don’t want to be left behind.
I am in the same situation. It's difficult, and I found that all the lustful and sexual kind of scenes in TV shows, movies, and video games are what draws me in and causes me to resin. It's not easy. I spent a week in the hospital earlier this year, and not once did I think about or feel any desire of this sin. I find what works for me is turning down the volume and walking away and doing something like small cleaning chore around my home helps me. It's not 100% effective, but it does work. I may have only started doing this a few months ago and have resinned, but I pray and ask God for forgiveness. I do ask God to remove my feelings of lust when I walk away to doing something during these kinds of scenes.
I am aborn again and saved. I committed a sexual sin I told myself I will not commit again. This is eating me up, the guilt, the condemnation, the shame it's so overwhelming. I feel so stupid and ask how did I become this weak. But I know that God has been convicting me, I also read the whole chapter of Hebrews 12 now, and I have the assurance that I am a child of God because God is correcting me and rebuking me. Still, with this heavy heart, I still have to put my trust in Jesus because He is not done the race has to start from beginning to end. Please keep me in your prayer to read the Word more. I know the freedom that comes with salvation but it feels as if I am losing it, I will keep on praying and trusting God to give me the peace I once had, and for the fire to be re-ignited.
I don’t know how you’re doing now but I have faith that you have overcame condemnation and are on the path of light still. I’m struggling with the same fear of being condemned but I’m breaking through knowing that God is not done with me yet and that through Jesus Christ we are saved and he will not lose any of us or allow the devil to pluck us out.

We can never be sinless but to know that and accept Jesus as our savior. I probably sin every day and I will never be completely clean, but God's sacrifice allows me to have a chance at eternal paradise.
It's better than have a chance at eternal life -- it's GUARANTEED! Even when we're at our best as Christians, we still deserve Hell. The Lord reminded me once that NONE of us will ever be completely sinless this side of Heaven. Even when we're at our best, we STILL need Jesus. The author of the old hymn "I Need Thee Every Hour" knew exactly what he was talking about -- and it holds true for each and every one of us at ALL times.
When Jesus says, "Go, and sin no more" (John 8:11), what is your conclusion from that? Is Jesus asking you to follow a path that is impossible to follow? What do you believe? What you believe will determine which way you go, because faith is "action" and lack of faith will mean not doing the right actions (James 1:22, James 2:26, Luke 6:46).

You can avoid sin by the power of the holy Trinity (1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 John 3:6, 9, 5:18; Galatians 5:16-26). Obey everything found in the 27 books of the new testament and learn from the 39 books of the old testament. Our good deeds don't save us but, beware, our bad deeds/sins will mess up our life and our eternity. Also, Jesus will judge us at the judgement seat. I don't know what happens to a Christian who sins then dies before they have a chance of asking the Father to forgive them so beware. Also get a KJV and possibly read/study from the manuscripts that the KJV is translated from because the newer bible versions are from the perverted Alexandrian texts. So, repentance is pretty much like learning to ride a bike. At first you will fall down, a lot. But the more you practice the better you get and the less you fall down. It doesn't make you exempt from that occasional crash, but you learn to just get back up and keep going.

I can give you some advices. Stay away from things that give you lustfull thoughts, pray EVERYDAY and read the word EVERYDAY, don't count how many days you resisted to temptation : it will remind you that u didn't resist that long , if you feel like your flesh is fighting you, do something that will keep your mind busy. All these helped me for real i'm telling you. From everyday, to every week, to every two weeks to once a month. The more you reduce the amount, the more it gets you close to Victory brother.
Continue to remind yourself that you are God’s righteousness because of your faith in Christ. Continue to believe that He alone makes you worthy and holy. Don’t put the sin on a pedestal. God will give you the victory, just keep trusting in Him.

I have an addiction to weed. I haven't done it in a while. I did it Monday night. Immediately after I walked down the hall to take my contacts out. Heaviness fell on me intense fear it was like the devil was hovering over me telling me he was taking me to hell. Thankfully I have been very diligent about reading my Bible every day and putting on the armor of God. The holy spirit brought multiple scriptures to my memory. It melted away I felt the holy spirit so strong. It was truly amazing. I praise the Lord for loving me and dying for my sins. Everyday I grow closer to him. This video is perfect timing. @Eat Me I'm going to have to share this with my husband and father. Both are Christians and both smoke.. Me too.. My husband and I quit for over a year and nothing changed at all... I thought. We started again because who knows. We it is like we never stopped. I have always felt bad about smoking it, I enjoy the taste in food as any other spice, but it just give the relaxing feeling to my pain and not high or floaty. I despise being high all the time. Even when I was a younger smoker I knew 1 puff and I am good, I am not bound to the couch and phone, my creativity levels have soared and. I have energy with much less stiffness.. Peer pressure ALWAYS wins and I have too much and it sucks and everyone just thinks it is a game. I've been a saved Christian since I was 7, clearly remember.. I've done plenty enough in the many years since to repent of. As I write this, I know what I should do and listen to that still small voice. Easier said than done at times. Pray.
If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit. “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 NKJV By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. Nor do they believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never got sick and who who removed every type of sickness, disease or disability from everyone who turned to Him in faith can protect them from the devil’s afflictions. This is why we are called Christians since a Christian is someone who lives exactly as Jesus did and once again Jesus did not sin nor did Jesus ever get sick. So anyone who continues to sin is certainly proving that they are an unbeliever and a liar and they definitely are not a Christian who possesses God’s Holy Spirit. They are just one of the many fake Christians who have been deceived by the devil and they clearly are being guided by a demon spirit. “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:32 NKJV A righteous person does not sin and anyone who believes they cannot stop sinning failed to understand that scripture is relating that we are all born in sin but it definitely is not relating that we can never stop sinning. The few of us who are truly the children of God and who possess His Holy Spirit understand this truth and this is why we have allowed the Holy Spirit to teach us how to stop sinning. The children of the devil who are being guided by a demon spirit foolishly believe that they will always continue to sin. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”” Revelation 21:6-8 NKJV There are no scriptures that ever relates that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who belongs to God cannot and does not sin. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” 1 John 4:1-6 NKJV Many will read this above scripture and think that this is talking about an individual that you may encounter who is a preacher or whatever and that is totally incorrect. It is talking about testing the thoughts and questions that run through our minds since that is where the Spirit world exists. God is Spirit and once you accepted Jesus into your life He now dwells inside of you. It is now possible for you to communicate with Him in your Spirit since His Spirit and your Spirit are now united and they are one. This blessing is available to every believer as long as they have not blasphemed the Spirit of truth. “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV In the Spirit world there are Godly and demon spirits and this is why scripture is relating that you need to discern the spiritual voices that you are hearing in your thoughts. This is what it means to live by the Spirit since you are following the voice that you are listening to inside your head. Living by the flesh means that you chose to live by your own bodily feelings and emotions. If you have repented of your sins and you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior in your life you are now anointed with His Holy Spirit. But most believers do not really understand exactly what this means or even know how to allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in their life. Some have asked what is the Holy Spirit and how do I even know that He is with me? So allow me to explain. First, you must understand that it is the Spirit’s job to change your heart and to make you Holy and He does this by purifying and sanctifying your heart in God’s truth. But in order for this to occur you must do your part and you must surrender your will to the Spirit and allow Him to teach you. Sadly, this is where the majority of believers fail and go astray because they never gained the wisdom behind testing the Spirits. Sanctification takes years and it requires our faith, patience, suffering and endurance since the Holy Spirit teaches us how to overcome our sins. Once we learn how to overcome our sins we then have overcome sicknesses since they come from sin and the devil. This is the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind through His sacrifice but yet most believers do not understand this truth. Most fall for the devil’s lie that you could somehow be a Christian and also a sinner and that sickness is a normal part of this life and they prove they lack knowledge of scripture. So what is your Spirit and just how do you even test it? When God uses the term Spirit you have to now ask yourself, what exactly is it that makes you do the things that you do? Take a moment and think about what it is that motivates you throughout your day. When you wake up in the morning, what makes you decide to do the things that you are going to do on that particular day? Some things you do out of habit or maybe you even follow a daily routine. Other things you do are coming from these suggestions that just seem to pop up in your mind. This thought process that is making these suggestions to you is either pushing you to do something or it is telling you to ignore it. And when you get these suggestions you usually act on them or you just completely reject the thought. For example, if you were at a gym and you went to lift some weights there is this voice inside of you that seems to be suggesting the amount that you can probably lift. So this inner voice that is motivating you and has you making certain choices and decisions throughout your day well this is your Spirit. Next you need to understand that some of these thoughts or suggestions that run through your mind are from God, while others are from the devil who rules this fallen world. Once you have accepted Jesus into your life you now have His Holy Spirit inside of you and so your thoughts and His thoughts are now one. In the past you probably had times when it seemed like you were talking to yourself in your thoughts. Since you now possess the Holy Spirit you now need to believe that you can communicate with God in your thoughts through the Spirit. Now in order to hear from the Spirit you must have faith, you must believe in this truth and you definitely must be relaxed and at peace. So the next time when you are alone and everything is peaceful and quiet then ask Jesus a question in your thoughts and then listen for an answer. Make sure that you phrase your question in such a way that it can only be answered with a simple yes or no response. Your Spirit will now answer you and you will either feel or hear the reply. Once your Spirit gives you a yes or no response to your question you then need to test whether you were hearing from the Spirit of God or from the Spirit of the Antichrist. You must do this with every question that you ask from God because you need to make sure that the answer that you received was actually correct. How you go about testing the Spirits is simply by asking in your thoughts, “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” If you hear a yes then it was the Spirt of God who answered you and if you hear a no then it was a demon spirit that you were hearing from and he is trying to deceive you. So if you heard a yes to “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer to the question that you asked is totally correct (truth). If you heard a no to “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer that you received to your question is a lie (error) and so this means that your answer would then be the opposite of what you originally heard. The more you discern those thoughts inside your head the closer you will get with God and the more knowledgeable you will become about His word and truth. You can ask God if someone you encounter also knows how to discern the Spirits and He will tell you. You can ask if they are saved or not and you can even ask if someone has blasphemed the Spirit or not. You are now able to communicate with Jesus and He knows what dwells inside everyone’s heart. “About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:11-14 ESV
If you keep repeating a specific sin, pray pray pray about it. Ask Jesus to give you the strength to resist the temptation to engage in that sin. Persist in your prayer life, and the Lord will give you strength.
I repent my sin but still I sin again so I always pray to the lord to set me free from sin and temptation and to fill in my heart with a holy spirit. In this I call in Jesus Christ name Amen.

That is the salvation you must make sure you have experienced: freedom from sin (Romans 8:1-2) vs bondage to sin (Romans 7:23). You must submit to God. That is essential: James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. That's what your attitude needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and 👉 committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. They did not need to interpret the scriptures, but they learned hands on while living and working with the Apostles. Their words offer the true interpretation of the scriptures and the true way of conversion. They make it clear how we are freed from sin and no longer a slave to it. They teach that we must not ever defy God after a true conversion, but we must love him with our whole heart, honoring him with our lives and always obeying him to the best of our understanding. If you do not turn from your sin, you have not repented in the biblical way, but in the worldly way - of which Jesus said is worthless. I committed a sin this past weekend and I felt horrible because I recently came back to Christ but yet I fell again and I been praying and seeking God for an answer and I came across the book of Colossians and I felt the Lord was giving me a msg an answer and just the very next day you posted this video (which is today that I'm commenting this)with the same book of Colossians and not only reassuring what the Lord told me but also teaching and encouraging me even more so. My brother I felt so much peace and love after I finished this video that I couldn't hold my tears in and i had to lift up my hands to the Lord because He heard my cry and answered. I think the scary thing is we all have our own personal sin, the one we indulge in repeatedly. That’s a difficult habit to break, because it is sometimes deeply ingrained and may take several failed attempts before we have the ability and God given grace to fight the temptation

If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit. “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 NKJV By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. Nor do they believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never got sick and who who removed every type of sickness, disease or disability from everyone who turned to Him in faith can protect them from the devil’s afflictions. They are just one of the many fake Christians who have been deceived by the devil and they clearly are being guided by a demon spirit. “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:32 NKJV A righteous person does not sin and anyone who believes they cannot stop sinning failed to understand that scripture is relating that we are all born in sin but it definitely is not relating that we can never stop sinning. So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. I became a born again Christian this year and it has been a struggle to let this habit go but I truly with my heart and soul do not want to commit this act anymore. I once was lost but Jesus came and dragged me out of the pit of Hell you showed me the error of my ways I'm not perfect I still sin but I ask for repentance every day I know that Jesus shed his blood for me on the cross and that gives me great comfort I follow Jesus everyday amen❤
Words can't even begin to describe how I'm feeling right now. I feel into sin and I felt like the worst human being on this planet, I felt so unworthy, I wept and cried everyday from the guilt of the sins I committed. Watching your videos have brought me so much liberation and it has brought me to a realization that most of us Christians are under religious spirits, that when we do wrong we allow guilt fear and condemnation to take over our lives. The spirit of fear, doubt, guilt and shame is not from God but the devil. I've found so much courage to pick up my cross and to continue on my journey with the Almighty. However I've fallen into depression because of the guilt and shame, however I feel those chains that are holding me in bondage breaking off, please keep me in your prayers. God loves us and he will never forsake us

Christ came that you might be set free from sins ( 1 John 3:5). You need to believe that the Grace to stay pure comes from Him, by your strength you won't be able to achieve a life that isn't controlled by sin. The devil wants you to believe that you can't overcome sin, but remember that 1 John 3:6 says that if we continue to live in Him we won't sin either, it says that those who continue in sin have never known or understood who he is. So I would say that if you have encountered Jesus, He will touch your heart and grant you the grace to overcome sin. Whenever an opportunity to sin presents itself, just ask yourself whose side am I? is it The Lord's? I If you are willing The Lord is close enough to help you. Be careful to not call "true" what just sounds good. But seek to be guided by the word of truth, whatever that costs you. It comes down to the choice you make, whether you will have God in your life for real or just a feeling.

Amen, this is so comforting because I fought the good fight for years. God finally delivered me from immorality, impurity, drunkenness, & addiction to men. I got saved many years ago and the world kept pulling me back! It’s been 10 plus years since I finally stopped getting pulled back in. It was a strong battle. Thank you brother!
I was just broken hearted because I relapsed into sin, and then when I opened TH-cam, this was the first thing I saw. Thank you, brother. I needed to hear this. I'm going to repent, cast this sin away, and move forward. I'm going to confide in a friend to hold me accountable, and if that still doesn't work, I will have no choice but to confess to my pastor so he can hold me accountable instead. I hope it doesn't come to that, but I must do what's necessary to keep myself from relapsing again.
Maybe it will help to think more that you are accountable to God in the first place. Coming to a relationship with God, like a marriage, means you have made a commitment to do his will for the rest of your life and stop disobeying Him. He sees all your actions and knows all the intents of your heart. He also knows that you are capable of submitting to Him and resisting the devil (James 4:7) whenever you would be tempted to sin. You always have a way of escape (James 1:13-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Peter 4:1). So, God is the first to be hurt when you know right from wrong and choose to do wrong (sin). Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset. You must submit to God. That is essential: James 4:7-8 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. That's what the attitude of your heart needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). @@yestothetruth God's Love is not about obeying laws, God/Jesus Christ's love is about his Grace and Mercy because he knows we always fail to keep the laws. Why do we always fail to keep the law perfectly? Because we are not sinners because we sin (break the law), we sin (break the law) because we are sinners. Faith in the blood of Christ Jesus is the only thing that takes our sin away (pardons our sin and guilt). No religion needed. Just faith, faith plus nothing. So, you will speak in defense of being a sinner sinning to no end, denying the transformation that happens in someone by the power of God (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:1-2), and not connecting faith with loving God which translates to obeying God. Obey his word, his voice if you hear Him... Then you will not be "lawless". But it's not about "obeying laws" as you put it. See 1John 5:3 and Galatians 5:6, and see what you think about everything you just said. It will help if you agree to say bye-bye to sin in your heart for the rest of your life (for the love of God). I’ve struggled and am still struggling with this portion of my walk. I’ve almost fallen for the you’ve sinned , now all is lost lie Satan tried to trick me with . I knew better but had doubts. So , when in doubt don’t. And I didn’t give in to the lie and just pushed forward but wondered still if I’d be forgiven for recommitting the same sin I struggle with. If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit. “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 NKJV By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. Nor do they believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never got sick and who who removed every type of sickness, disease or disability from everyone who turned to Him in faith can protect them from the devil’s afflictions. So anyone who continues to sin is certainly proving that they are an unbeliever and a liar and they definitely are not a Christian who possesses God’s Holy Spirit. They are just one of the many fake Christians who have been deceived by the devil and they clearly are being guided by a demon spirit. “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Luke 5:32 NKJV A righteous person does not sin and anyone who believes they cannot stop sinning failed to understand that scripture is relating that we are all born in sin but it definitely is not relating that we can never stop sinning. The few of us who are truly the children of God and who possess His Holy Spirit understand this truth and this is why we have allowed the Holy Spirit to teach us how to stop sinning. The children of the devil who are being guided by a demon spirit foolishly believe that they will always continue to sin. There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who belongs to God cannot and does not sin. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. I am a new Christian (I’ve been baptized for 3 months now) and I am extremely hard on myself to get it right with God. I find myself reading the Word, will put it in my mind to do the right thing, and something will happen to where I find myself doing the complete thing I was told NOT to do. I would feel immense guilt and tell myself “who am I kidding” and then I will pray to God for forgiveness. Let me just say this… I’m positive that God was speaking to me to encourage not just me but you too! He chose US! God will reveal to us what we need to work on. EVEN if you read the Word 15 minutes ago and go out and mess up. This is how we exercise ourselves in the Word. When you’re working out, you have a fitness goal in mind. There’s just no way you’re going to be able to lift that amount of weight within 15 minutes, as bad as you may want it, it ain’t going to happen. But you just have to keep trying. Thank God that Jesus died for us. We just have to keep fighting! God will bless your efforts. Take the conviction! Praise God that he’s chastising us.

I was doing the same sin for 30 years and I finally gave it to Jesus and I repented and thank God I lesson to the holy spirit who said repent and don't look back and execpt God's forgiveness, and from that point on I no longer want to sin that sin anymore, God took the desire away, he also said I have given you power to defeat Satan, my world is power, resist the devil and he will flee from you,

You must be willing to see what it feels like to say "No" to a desire of your flesh when you are being tempted, and see how the temptation goes away (James 1:12-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13). God's grace will help you to do that (Titus 2:11-14) and He will be with you in all those moments if your focus is on loving and pleasing Him above all and you trust that He will deliver you. It is important that what you regard as repentance is what God calls repentance in the Bible. Really needed a message like this. Been struggling off and on with lust and sexual sin lately. I'll go for a time doing good and staying faithful and then fall right back in the same traps again and again.The guilt of sin after coming into the knowledge of God can be hard to shake at times but I know that is a trick of the enemy to make me want to give up the race of perserverance that God set and would want me to continue on just as his son Jesus did!
U need to go in serious fasting, for me i fasted from music for 40 days for my certain sin ..maybe yours is social media , some movies , or just reading the bible more .I know how this feels .I had to read my bible more ...i would read my bible every 2 hours ...ofcourse as i wake up i read the bible .U need to pray too between those hours

After few day's temptations comes with force and I am not able to resist the temptations. How long Jesus should bear with us, if we continue doing same shit again and again.... But this past few nights, esp., today; (this morning), I couldn't shake this heaviest burden of Depression, but as of now, Praise the Lord, in His Perfect Timing, an Answer to My Prayers. Do NOT think that way because it’s false, rather keep this mindset that no matter how many times you fall and sin you will still come to him to confess of your sins pray that Lord I come however as I am, a sinner and place all my sins and all my weaknesses in front of you forgive me and help me to get stronger in your name, help me resist the devil and walk in your light the way you want me to. 🙏🏻 Never stop praying and asking for forgiveness, everyday is a new day, a new chance so don’t think that God will reject you because knowing you sin will fully.... Obedience to God is the key. @@kennedyalexander8320 The conviction is a heads-up to bring you to differentiate well between right and wrong and that's meant to turn you to God or away from doing what is evil/wrong/sin. So, repentance is supposed to be your response to a conviction of sin. And if you have understood what was wrong in what you did or what you had desired to do, and you are in agreement with God to call wrong what is wrong and want nothing to do with it, that is what demonstrates your repentance. If you have the understanding that you can repent and go right back to choose to do what you had just agreed was wrong, then there is a problem with that. That distorts the sense of repentance in the Bible. So, it is less about "feeling" a conviction than knowing the wrong/evil/sinful thing you need to turn away from. And you need to show to God that you have understood this. That will be the basis for you to receive the forgiveness of your past sins and go forward on a path of obeying God/doing his will. So, what you can do is to not entertain any impure thoughts that come to your mind (as memories for instance). Stand ready to reject them as soon as they come. You can memorize scriptures that remind you of what is godly and that you want to pursue (e.g. Philippians 4:8, Psalm 119:11, Matthew 5:8), and recall them in those moments when certain thoughts come to tempt you. Amen! When I was going through a divorce, I wanted to go home to God. I begged him to take me. I have 4 children, and it came to me that he wanted me here for them. It wasn't my time. I was so close to Jesus.. Years have passed and I feel I have become further away from Jesus. I still pray nightly and teach my children to pray. But inside I feel more distant, I don't want to be distant from him. I pray to him to know me and become closer. I pray for this entire world that they follow Jesus. I will say during my divorce I had anxiety. I didn't even know I had it. One day I broke down amd told God I put all my trust into you, as I said this I cried. I found myself not having anxiety any longer. It was amazing, I was always a tough guy and delt with things to myself... but it's so much better having Jesus. I told myself if I can trust anyone 100%, then it can only be Jesus.

Sin is a path that will lead you to utter destruction. If you do not believe that, then your faith isn't what in needs to be, and your life will continue to be dominated by sin (instead of you having power over sin like Romans 6:14 says).
Please consider this: Even if it feels good to place your hand on a stove, would you put your hand casually on a stove if you knew (the truth) that it would for sure turn on suddenly and reduce your hand to ashes in one second? You would not gamble with that, would you? But you are making a bigger gamble when you are delaying to heed the call of God to be wise and repent. You may have been taught falsehood about repentance. That's not uncommon. But you need to be determined now to find the truth about it from the Bible and be sure that you have understood God's message exactly as intended.

Rather, Jesus says this to anyone who has an encounter with Him: "I do not condemn you; now, *go and don't sin anymore"* (John 8:11). That's when a sinner who repents receives a clean slate to start walking in God's ways. Jesus did not command something that was impossible, but something that is doable with his help when we are in complete submission to Him and only want to do God's will, e.g. submit to God and resist the devil so that he flees (James 4:7). Temptation to sin does not have to lead to taking the path of committing sin (James 1:12-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Peter 4:1), let alone doing that over and over. That shows that the last "repentance" was not genuine, in fact, and that a person is rebelling against God's ways, not wanting to be in submission to Him 100% and obey Him out of love (John 14:15).
Ultimately, all believers need to *abide in Jesus* and relate to what this scripture says:
1 John 3:6
Whoever abides in Him [Jesus] *does not sin.* Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
The first step to experiencing this deliverance from sin is to believe that it's possible.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to give up porn and keep my eyes on Jesus. I made it 2.5 weeks and fell into it again. I praised Jesus when I made it to the end of the weekends and the second week was easier than the first, but the third week in, my resilience began to falter. I’m going to run again to beat that record! Satan’s been telling me, “What’s the point? You’re just gonna fall again.” but this time I’m running for a month. And when I hit the benchmark I will rejoice in Jesus and go another week, and another, and if I fall again, I will have built even more endurance to run again and go further. I will not let my sin keep me from spreading the love of Jesus to those around me.
Doing the Word is easier said than done, but I want my inheritance in the Kingdom. If Jesus comes, I don’t want to be left behind.

2 and a half weeks? Yeah I've been off for about a week or 2 but it's starting to get really difficult
I am in the same situation. It's difficult, and I found that all the lustful and sexual kind of scenes in TV shows, movies, and video games are what draws me in and causes me to resin. It's not easy. I spent a week in the hospital earlier this year, and not once did I think about or feel any desire of this sin. I find what works for me is turning down the volume and walking away and doing something like small cleaning chore around my home helps me. It's not 100% effective, but it does work. I may have only started doing this a few months ago and have resinned, but I pray and ask God for forgiveness. I do ask God to remove my feelings of lust when I walk away to doing something during these kinds of scenes.

I am aborn again and saved. I committed a sexual sin I told myself I will not commit again. This is eating me up, the guilt, the condemnation, the shame it's so overwhelming. I feel so stupid and ask how did I become this weak. But I know that God has been convicting me, I also read the whole chapter of Hebrews 12 now, and I have the assurance that I am a child of God because God is correcting me and rebuking me. Still, with this heavy heart, I still have to put my trust in Jesus because He is not done the race has to start from beginning to end. Please keep me in your prayer to read the Word more. I know the freedom that comes with salvation but it feels as if I am losing it, I will keep on praying and trusting God to give me the peace I once had, and for the fire to be re-ignited.
I don’t know how you’re doing now but I have faith that you have overcame condemnation and are on the path of light still. I’m struggling with the same fear of being condemned but I’m breaking through knowing that God is not done with me yet and that through Jesus Christ we are saved and he will not lose any of us or allow the devil to pluck us out.

We can never be sinless but to know that and accept Jesus as our savior. I probably sin every day and I will never be completely clean, but God's sacrifice allows me to have a chance at eternal paradise.
It's better than have a chance at eternal life -- it's GUARANTEED! Even when we're at our best as Christians, we still deserve Hell. The Lord reminded me once that NONE of us will ever be completely sinless this side of Heaven. Even when we're at our best, we STILL need Jesus. The author of the old hymn "I Need Thee Every Hour" knew exactly what he was talking about -- and it holds true for each and every one of us at ALL times.
When Jesus says, "Go, and sin no more" (John 8:11), what is your conclusion from that? Is Jesus asking you to follow a path that is impossible to follow? What do you believe? My dear lovely friend, Im not saying I haven't sinned in my life Im just saying to make an effort to stop sinning which, the sins are listed in the new covenant like lying, stealing, lusting after woman, hate, witchcraft, murder, idolatry, covetousness, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, disobeying the commands of Jesus in the gospels and the like.
I know about Ephesians 2:8-9 but we should mix our faith with works and avoiding sin. You have to consider everything the holy bible says especially the new testament. Maybe a Christian can end up in Gehenna/lake of fire 🔥 I'm not sure but I don't want to go there and I want an awesome eternity at the judgement seat of Christ so I avoid sin and do good deeds.

So, repentance is pretty much like learning to ride a bike. At first you will fall down, a lot. But the more you practice the better you get and the less you fall down. It doesn't make you exempt from that occasional crash, but you learn to just get back up and keep going.

I can give you some advices. Stay away from things that give you lustfull thoughts, pray EVERYDAY and read the word EVERYDAY, don't count how many days you resisted to temptation : it will remind you that u didn't resist that long , if you feel like your flesh is fighting you, do something that will keep your mind busy. All these helped me for real i'm telling you. From everyday, to every week, to every two weeks to once a month. The more you reduce the amount, the more it gets you close to Victory brother.
Continue to remind yourself that you are God’s righteousness because of your faith in Christ. Continue to believe that He alone makes you worthy and holy. Don’t put the sin on a pedestal. God will give you the victory, just keep trusting in Him.
It’s so hard man but remember that eventually it will become less and less then it’s gone. I’ve relapsed a few times but each time getting stronger. We got this !

I have an addiction to weed. I haven't done it in a while. I did it Monday night. Immediately after I walked down the hall to take my contacts out. Heaviness fell on me intense fear it was like the devil was hovering over me telling me he was taking me to hell. Thankfully I have been very diligent about reading my Bible every day and putting on the armor of God. The holy spirit brought multiple scriptures to my memory. It melted away I felt the holy spirit so strong. It was truly amazing. I praise the Lord for loving me and dying for my sins. Everyday I grow closer to him. This video is perfect timing. @Eat Me I'm going to have to share this with my husband and father. Both are Christians and both smoke.. Me too.. My husband and I quit for over a year and nothing changed at all... I thought. We started again because who knows. We it is like we never stopped. I have always felt bad about smoking it, I enjoy the taste in food as any other spice, but it just give the relaxing feeling to my pain and not high or floaty. I despise being high all the time. Even when I was a younger smoker I knew 1 puff and I am good, I am not bound to the couch and phone, my creativity levels have soared and. I have energy with much less stiffness.. Peer pressure ALWAYS wins and I have too much and it sucks and everyone just thinks it is a game. I've been a saved Christian since I was 7, clearly remember.. I've done plenty enough in the many years since to repent of. As I write this, I know what I should do and listen to that still small voice. Easier said than done at times. Pray.

If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit.

By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. So anyone who continues to sin is certainly proving that they are an unbeliever and a liar and they definitely are not a Christian who possesses God’s Holy Spirit. They are just one of the many fake Christians who have been deceived by the devil and they clearly are being guided by a demon spirit.

A righteous person does not sin and anyone who believes they cannot stop sinning failed to understand that scripture is relating that we are all born in sin but it definitely is not relating that we can never stop sinning. The few of us who are truly the children of God and who possess His Holy Spirit understand this truth and this is why we have allowed the Holy Spirit to teach us how to stop sinning. The children of the devil who are being guided by a demon spirit foolishly believe that they will always continue to sin. So anyone who claims that believers will always sin proves they are an unbeliever and a liar who has never allowed the Holy Spirit of Jesus to teach them how to overcome their sins and this is why their lost soul will be heading for an eternity in the lake of fire.

There are no scriptures that ever relates that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who belongs to God cannot and does not sin.

Overcoming sin can only be achieved by allowing God to purify your heart through His purification process that is known as sanctification and you will never achieve this in your life if you do not understand how to test the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4.
Every believer of Jesus Christ should be living a life where they can no longer sin nor ever get sick and if you do not possess this blessing in your life then you are deceived in your beliefs. So if you can still sin and if you can still get sick then you are clearly being deceived by a demon spirit and you are not being guided by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Many will read this above scripture and think that this is talking about an individual that you may encounter who is a preacher or whatever and that is totally incorrect. It is talking about testing the thoughts and questions that run through our minds since that is where the Spirit world exists. God is Spirit and once you accepted Jesus into your life He now dwells inside of you. It is now possible for you to communicate with Him in your Spirit since His Spirit and your Spirit are now united and they are one. This blessing is available to every believer as long as they have not blasphemed the Spirit of truth.
“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
1 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV
In the Spirit world there are Godly and demon spirits and this is why scripture is relating that you need to discern the spiritual voices that you are hearing in your thoughts. This is what it means to live by the Spirit since you are following the voice that you are listening to inside your head. Living by the flesh means that you chose to live by your own bodily feelings and emotions.
If you have repented of your sins and you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior in your life you are now anointed with His Holy Spirit. But most believers do not really understand exactly what this means or even know how to allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in their life. Some have asked what is the Holy Spirit and how do I even know that He is with me? So allow me to explain.
First, you must understand that it is the Spirit’s job to change your heart and to make you Holy and He does this by purifying and sanctifying your heart in God’s truth. But in order for this to occur you must do your part and you must surrender your will to the Spirit and allow Him to teach you. Sadly, this is where the majority of believers fail and go astray because they never gained the wisdom behind testing the Spirits. Sanctification takes years and it requires our faith, patience, suffering and endurance since the Holy Spirit teaches us how to overcome our sins. Once we learn how to overcome our sins we then have overcome sicknesses since they come from sin and the devil. This is the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind through His sacrifice but yet most believers do not understand this truth. Most fall for the devil’s lie that you could somehow be a Christian and also a sinner and that sickness is a normal part of this life and they prove they lack knowledge of scripture.
So what is your Spirit and just how do you even test it?
When God uses the term Spirit you have to now ask yourself, what exactly is it that makes you do the things that you do? Take a moment and think about what it is that motivates you throughout your day. When you wake up in the morning, what makes you decide to do the things that you are going to do on that particular day? Some things you do out of habit or maybe you even follow a daily routine. Other things you do are coming from these suggestions that just seem to pop up in your mind. This thought process that is making these suggestions to you is either pushing you to do something or it is telling you to ignore it. And when you get these suggestions you usually act on them or you just completely reject the thought. For example, if you were at a gym and you went to lift some weights there is this voice inside of you that seems to be suggesting the amount that you can probably lift. So this inner voice that is motivating you and has you making certain choices and decisions throughout your day well this is your Spirit.
Next you need to understand that some of these thoughts or suggestions that run through your mind are from God, while others are from the devil who rules this fallen world. Once you have accepted Jesus into your life you now have His Holy Spirit inside of you and so your thoughts and His thoughts are now one. In the past you probably had times when it seemed like you were talking to yourself in your thoughts. Since you now possess the Holy Spirit you now need to believe that you can communicate with God in your thoughts through the Spirit. Now in order to hear from the Spirit you must have faith, you must believe in this truth and you definitely must be relaxed and at peace.
So the next time when you are alone and everything is peaceful and quiet then ask Jesus a question in your thoughts and then listen for an answer. Make sure that you phrase your question in such a way that it can only be answered with a simple yes or no response. Your Spirit will now answer you and you will either feel or hear the reply. Once your Spirit gives you a yes or no response to your question you then need to test whether you were hearing from the Spirit of God or from the Spirit of the Antichrist. You must do this with every question that you ask from God because you need to make sure that the answer that you received was actually correct. How you go about testing the Spirits is simply by asking in your thoughts, “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” If you hear a yes then it was the Spirt of God who answered you and if you hear a no then it was a demon spirit that you were hearing from and he is trying to deceive you. So if you heard a yes to “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer to the question that you asked is totally correct (truth). If you heard a no to “Did Jesus come in the flesh?” then the answer that you received to your question is a lie (error) and so this means that your answer would then be the opposite of what you originally heard.
The more you discern those thoughts inside your head the closer you will get with God and the more knowledgeable you will become about His word and truth. You can ask God if someone you encounter also knows how to discern the Spirits and He will tell you. You can ask if they are saved or not and you can even ask if someone has blasphemed the Spirit or not. You are now able to communicate with Jesus and He knows what dwells inside everyone’s heart.
“About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”
Hebrews 5:11-14 ESV
If you keep repeating a specific sin, pray pray pray about it. Ask Jesus to give you the strength to resist the temptation to engage in that sin. Persist in your prayer life, and the Lord will give you strength.
I repent my sin but still I sin again so I always pray to the lord to set me free from sin and temptation and to fill in my heart with a holy spirit. In this I call in Jesus Christ name Amen.

It is important that you answer God's call to *repentance* the way the Bible teaches. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key-that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is the salvation you must make sure you have experienced: freedom from sin (Romans 8:1-2) vs bondage to sin (Romans 7:23).
You must submit to God. That is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
That's what your attitude needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and 👉 committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. You must recognize that understanding as part of your seeking Jesus' salvation or a relationship with God.

21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

The gospel that you have trusted in is lacking. If you want truth, read the writings of the men who were taught by the Apostles of Christ in the late first century. They did not need to interpret the scriptures, but they learned hands on while living and working with the Apostles. Their words offer the true interpretation of the scriptures and the true way of conversion. They make it clear how we are freed from sin and no longer a slave to it. They teach that we must not ever defy God after a true conversion, but we must love him with our whole heart, honoring him with our lives and always obeying him to the best of our understanding. Yes we will mess up sometimes, but it must not be intentional or a choice to defy his way, because to do what we know is wrong, after a true conversion is to deny him by deed, it is a form of idolatry, holding our own desires above him, and is the sin unto eternal death.

I committed a sin this past weekend and I felt horrible because I recently came back to Christ but yet I fell again and I been praying and seeking God for an answer and I came across the book of Colossians and I felt the Lord was giving me a msg an answer and just the very next day you posted this video (which is today that I'm commenting this)with the same book of Colossians and not only reassuring what the Lord told me but also teaching and encouraging me even more so. My brother I felt so much peace and love after I finished this video that I couldn't hold my tears in and i had to lift up my hands to the Lord because He heard my cry and answered. I think the scary thing is we all have our own personal sin, the one we indulge in repeatedly. That’s a difficult habit to break, because it is sometimes deeply ingrained and may take several failed attempts before we have the ability and God given grace to fight the temptation

If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit.

By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. There are no scriptures that ever relates that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who belongs to God cannot and does not sin.

I feel into sin and I felt like the worst human being on this planet, I felt so unworthy, I wept and cried everyday from the guilt of the sins I committed. Watching your videos have brought me so much liberation and it has brought me to a realization that most of us Christians are under religious spirits, that when we do wrong we allow guilt fear and condemnation to take over our lives. The spirit of fear, doubt, guilt and shame is not from God but the devil. I've found so much courage to pick up my cross and to continue on my journey with the Almighty. You need to believe that the Grace to stay pure comes from Him, by your strength you won't be able to achieve a life that isn't controlled by sin. It is important that you answer God's call to *repentance* the way the Bible teaches. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key-that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation.

Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

Then read John 3:4-11 it says whoever continues in sin has never known Jesus .and that person is not a child of God. I was just broken hearted because I relapsed into sin, and then when I opened TH-cam, this was the first thing I saw. Thank you, brother. I needed to hear this. I'm going to repent, cast this sin away, and move forward. Maybe it will help to think more that you are accountable to God in the first place. Coming to a relationship with God, like a marriage, means you have made a commitment to do his will for the rest of your life and stop disobeying Him. He sees all your actions and knows all the intents of your heart. He also knows that you are capable of submitting to Him and resisting the devil (James 4:7) whenever you would be tempted to sin. You always have a way of escape (James 1:13-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 1 Peter 4:1). So, God is the first to be hurt when you know right from wrong and choose to do wrong (sin).
Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset.
You must submit to God. That is essential:
James 4:7-8
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
That's what the attitude of your heart needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key-that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation.
James 1:21-22
21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
Hebrews 5:9
And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him [...].*
Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

I was afraid to watch this video because this is me I’ve continued to sin knowing it’s a sin, been feeling super guilty about it, and separated thinking jesus has turned his back on me, this took some weight off my shoulders thank you.
I’ve struggled and am still struggling with this portion of my walk. I’ve almost fallen for the you’ve sinned , now all is lost lie Satan tried to trick me with . I knew better but had doubts. So , when in doubt don’t. And I didn’t give in to the lie and just pushed forward but wondered still if I’d be forgiven for recommitting the same sin I struggle with. If you are still sinning after repenting then you certainly did not truly repent. Those who continue in sin do not believe that it is impossible to be living the perfect life that Jesus commanded us all to live through His Holy Spirit.

By their own words many are proving that how they they do not believe that possessing the Holy Spirit of Jesus who never sinned can keep their wicked soul from sinning. God does not lie so Jesus would have never told the man at the pool of Bethesda to sin no more if it were impossible for the man to stop sinning. Plus Jesus made it crystal clear that it was the man’s sins that made him disabled when Jesus related that a worse thing would come upon him if he did not stop sinning.

This is why we are called Christians since a Christian is someone who lives exactly as Jesus did and once again Jesus did not sin nor did Jesus ever get sick. So anyone who continues to sin is certainly proving that they are an unbeliever and a liar and they definitely are not a Christian who possesses God’s Holy Spirit. They are just one of the many fake Christians who have been deceived by the devil and they clearly are being guided by a demon spirit.

A righteous person does not sin and anyone who believes they cannot stop sinning failed to understand that scripture is relating that we are all born in sin but it definitely is not relating that we can never stop sinning. The few of us who are truly the children of God and who possess His Holy Spirit understand this truth and this is why we have allowed the Holy Spirit to teach us how to stop sinning. The children of the devil who are being guided by a demon spirit foolishly believe that they will always continue to sin. So anyone who claims that believers will always sin proves they are an unbeliever and a liar who has never allowed the Holy Spirit of Jesus to teach them how to overcome their sins and this is why their lost soul will be heading for an eternity in the lake of fire.

There are no scriptures that ever relates that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God! There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning! There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian will possess sickness in their life! So you can look all that you like but you certainly will not find any such scripture to back up those lies. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who belongs to God cannot and does not sin.

I am a new Christian (I’ve been baptized for 3 months now) and I am extremely hard on myself to get it right with God. I find myself reading the Word, will put it in my mind to do the right thing, and something will happen to where I find myself doing the complete thing I was told NOT to do. I would feel immense guilt and tell myself “who am I kidding” and then I will pray to God for forgiveness.
Let me just say this… I’m positive that God was speaking to me to encourage not just me but you too! He chose US! God will reveal to us what we need to work on. EVEN if you read the Word 15 minutes ago and go out and mess up. This is how we exercise ourselves in the Word. When you’re working out, you have a fitness goal in mind. There’s just no way you’re going to be able to lift that amount of weight within 15 minutes, as bad as you may want it, it ain’t going to happen. But you just have to keep trying. Thank God that Jesus died for us. We just have to keep fighting! God will bless your efforts. Take the conviction! Praise God that he’s chastising us.

Really needed a message like this. Been struggling off and on with lust and sexual sin lately. I'll go for a time doing good and staying faithful and then fall right back in the same traps again and again.The guilt of sin after coming into the knowledge of God can be hard to shake at times but I know that is a trick of the enemy to make me want to give up the race of perserverance that God set and would want me to continue on just as his son Jesus did!

These works of the flesh should cease for a Christian who is following Jesus. The wrong focus will lead to wrong choices of committing those sins that lead to death (1 John 5:16-18).
A person needs to get saved first of all and take exhortations like these seriously:

Obedience to God is the key. It helps to see the grace of God this way:

If the grace of God instructs you to say 'No' to sin, then that part is up to you as you choose to obey the instructions you receive by the grace of God.

@@kennedyalexander8320 The conviction is a heads-up to bring you to differentiate well between right and wrong and that's meant to turn you to God or away from doing what is evil/wrong/sin.
So, repentance is supposed to be your response to a conviction of sin. And if you have understood what was wrong in what you did or what you had desired to do, and you are in agreement with God to call wrong what is wrong and want nothing to do with it, that is what demonstrates your repentance.
If you have the understanding that you can repent and go right back to choose to do what you had just agreed was wrong, then there is a problem with that. That distorts the sense of repentance in the Bible.
So, it is less about "feeling" a conviction than knowing the wrong/evil/sinful thing you need to turn away from. And you need to show to God that you have understood this. That will be the basis for you to receive the forgiveness of your past sins and go forward on a path of obeying God/doing his will.

@@kennedyalexander8320 You are thinking correctly that sin begins in the heart and purity of your heart before God has to be your goal, not just stopping sinful actions.
So, what you can do is to not entertain any impure thoughts that come to your mind (as memories for instance). Stand ready to reject them as soon as they come. You can memorize scriptures that remind you of what is godly and that you want to pursue (e.g. Philippians 4:8, Psalm 119:11, Matthew 5:8), and recall them in those moments when certain thoughts come to tempt you. Be ready to battle and remember that being tempted does not mean that you have to end up committing sin (read James 1:12-15, 1 Corinthians 10:13 and also Mark 7:21-23).

21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. 22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
I also want to say this: God has given you natural sexual desires and there is nothing wrong with them, but heart purity and self-control in your thoughts and actions are a must (Matthew 5:8, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27). God calls us to love from a pure heart (see 1 Timothy 1:5, James 4:8, Isaiah 1:16-20). That will eliminate lust that makes you look at another person as a sex-object. So, love that rejoices with the truth as God wants it for us all (1 Corinthians 13:6), won't allow you to look at people the same way. And that is possible with Jesus, but we need to not only believe it but also agree 100% with God to go in that direction.
You can find answers to any questions you have about your sexuality in your own relationship with God. He will surely point out to you anything that is possibly in the way of closeness to Him, whether that's a wrong action or behavior, or a wrong mindset. So, if you focus on building or deepening your relationship with God, then you will be able to seek and receive his precise guidance on anything.

Now you need to meditate on the scriptures I have shared with you. The truth from the scriptures needs to be in your heart so the word can do its "work" in you. It's important that you get your focus on that. Because if it's just your ideas that you have about where you want to be in your walk with God, then it's like fighting with no weapons. But the word of God + your faith that you can stand in the reality of God's will for you (being cleansed from whatever has brought misguidance, hurt, and corruption/evil in your life. The gift of a new life is what Jesus paid the price for any sinner who turns to Him to receive (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). You need to look at today already as the beginning of your future, so with God, it's not going the be the same old going forward as you will take action. Be patient and persistent, pray, and also forgive anyone who has done you wrong.

Have you received the message of God who is calling all people to repent (Acts 17:30-31)? That is the way to be forgiven for sins we have committed up to that point of turning to God and turning the page from the way we had lived until then. Great message. I let the Devil make me think that i wasn't holy or a good Christian even after I repented of sin. But just like James says in James 1:22-25 I as long I am truly doing my best to work hard, cast down my sin in the name of Jesus, and live for him. I will not struggle with the same sins. And I will make it to Heaven.

Make sure you approach God the way He expects you to-with the right mindset.
You must submit to God. That is essential:
James 4:7-8

That's what the attitude of your heart needs to be when you are going through the process of *repentance* and 👉 committing to be obedient to God for the rest of your life. You must sincerely regret having sinned against God, and come to the point of hearing and agreeing 100% with Jesus' message saying, "I do not condemn you, now go and don't sin anymore" (John 8:11). Your obedience as you choose to follow God's ways is key-that's how you show your faith to God (John 3:36, Luke 6:46, Hebrews 3:17-18). That opens the door to receiving his *forgiveness* for your past sins (2 Peter 1:9), *healing* (Luke 5:31-32), *freedom from sin/addictions* (John 8:34-36), and the gift of *a new life* that you will live for God and no longer for sin and the passing things of the world (Romans 6:4, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15). That is salvation.
Make sure you approach God in genuine repentance so you will have the Holy Spirit to lead you to "walk by the Spirit" (Acts 2:38, Galatians 5:16)-with a pure heart and self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

And having been made perfect, He [Jesus] became the author of 👉 *eternal salvation to all those who obey Him [...].*
Please stay in the word and obey it (James 1:21-22). The word of God is fuel for your faith. To live as a follower of Jesus you must go out of your way to put the word of God in your heart and keep it there, rejecting all distractions. It's a fight and that's how you need to stand to not fall down. The truth will set you free from all sin (John 8:31-32, 36).

When I was going through a divorce, I wanted to go home to God. I begged him to take me. I have 4 children, and it came to me that he wanted me here for them. It wasn't my time. I was so close to Jesus.. Years have passed and I feel I have become further away from Jesus. I still pray nightly and teach my children to pray. But inside I feel more distant, I don't want to be distant from him. I pray to him to know me and become closer. I pray for this entire world that they follow Jesus. I will say during my divorce I had anxiety. I didn't even know I had it. One day I broke down amd told God I put all my trust into you, as I said this I cried. I found myself not having anxiety any longer. It was amazing, I was always a tough guy and delt with things to myself... but it's so much better having Jesus. I told myself if I can trust anyone 100%, then it can only be Jesus.

I struggled with p***and I am not afraid to share that because it can help someone else. Every time I would watch it I knew I was doing something wrong and I would feel so bad for the rest of the day I hated it until I forgot what I had done. I started to hate the feeling that I had after watching p*** more than the enjoyment I had off watching p***. I downloaded an app that stops me from watching it.
