Daryn from iActiveRC popped over to our local model flying club to give me a demo of the NEW M2 Evo. A much improved version of the original M2 after customer feedback.
Highlights of the M2 EVO:
o New FBL Head - compared to DFC in other versions
o Longer main blades - enlarged to 190mm, better performance
o Redesigned tail motor & blades - quieter flight & smoother control
o Adjustable tail boom - variable length for different experiences
o Larger 60C 3S 750mAh LiPo & More powerful main motor
o Four highly visible color schemes to choose from
Filmed by Dom and Keanne for the 'Essential RC' TH-cam channel using the Panasonic AG-UX180 4K camcorder at our local model flying club.

The fact that it comes with a Radiomaster radio makes this kit 10x more appealing!
That is a nice bit of kit.
I was think of buying heli and radio separate.
So for that price it’s really good..
m2 evo is going to be my next one 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Excellent video and flight, sirs, I subbed.
very nice. i have only had my m2 v2 for a short time but this has to be on the xmas list
Hi I have just got a M2 V2 and it blows my blade 230s helis into the weeds, will have to save up for the Evo
Any thoughts on the gimbals behind half size/mini? Was going to buy a (new) TX when I got my m2 as I just gave up on my now broken DX6i and the RTF of the M2 is very interesting to me, but the radio is kinda throwing me off. Sort of like 'too good to be true' or really for FPV pilots, but can work...
Radio Master beat Spektrum and other manufacture. Yes radio master focus on fpv but since Edgetx is firmware it's a universal unlock firmware. Meaning that you can program any mixes you want. It is also use for car's and robotic. So the Tx will work on anything you throw at. So why does it throw you off? Radio have gimble right and sticks right? Why cant you use it? Edgetx can do all the mixes you want. You are the creater of the mixes. You build the mixes. This radio will do more then a 1000 dollar radio LOL. Unlimited programing!!! Oh this radio is limited though because it will loose range with fpv. Fpv flyer flies for 5-10 miles away this radio wont do it it's a 4-1 Zorro so it's line of sight just like all Spektrum all and other radio that is used to fly planes and helicopter. Zorro can add a elrs module for long range. Reason Zorro is good for fpv is size but for sure like i said this isn't really much for fpv who fly far away.
I recently purchased the M2 Evo RTF. It will not bind to the Zorro Radiomaster. I have searched the web and can't figure it out. Any suggestions?
Really nice. This radio is the 4 in 1 (multiple protocol) module version?
4in1
Hi your 3D skill is good, may I know how to learn 3D , any manual can download or advise ?
Find a fellow club member. Not everything can or should be taught on the Internet
Thank you for the review.
Could you please do a video explaining the radio and exactly how it's bound to the helicopter.
I understand there are no instructions included with the radio. I'm a relative beginner; having flown an RC helicopter once before. I know nothing about programming advanced radios. It does seem like an excellent radio paired with a great helicopter; which I would like to purchase.
I'm from Florida USA
It comes in the box pre-bound to the heli and all setup.
