Our own responses may simply be an indication of our own spirits, not of whether the prophecies are from God. If we tend to battle fear, that spirit will attack us when God gives warning prophecies. Spiritual maturity comes when you've exercised your senses long enough to know when a reaction is coming from your flesh, or from your spirit. I've been in situations where I felt nothing on the flesh level, but strong emotion on a spirit level. And also the opposite, when my flesh was in a pitched battle, but when I dropped down to the spirit level, there was nothing but complete peace.

If you think about it Jesus being meek and lowly is a good thing. If He wasn't He probably would not care about us instead we see our God caring for everyone (small and great) that He has created that comes to Him. We have a solid expectation and should know if the Father has promised He will without a doubt deliver it. We have a general outline of events that will happen, a general outline of how God operates, and a general outline of what is good and acceptable that fits within everything that is outlined. If we miss something we should be humble enough to put it down and continue with our spiritual progression.... Apparently this is the reason of use phase.

Jesus told me in a dream february 14th this year "i am coming soon to reap my harvest" also on february 17th Jesus sat down and read me psalms 24 i replied "i dont understand" HE smiled and said "that's when you know its time to be patient on the Lord" He is coming so soon people do not realize it... The last dream i had was a week ago i was told "when the fig are done it is time"

Yes, if you're walking in step with the Lord, a word from God will not disturb your peace. However, many who are walking in disobedience or unbelief or fear will hear the same word, and react in the flesh - in fear... or perhaps in feeling repulsed... or simply feeling unbelief. It depends on what spirit is controlling them. So, the criteria of "feeling peace" only applies to those who walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
It seems that there are few prophets that God has called among the so many who call themselves Prophets. Jesus warned us of false prophets (Matthew 7:15-23) , John said there are many false prophets in the world (1 John4 :1-6) and Peter said there were many false prophets before so there will be many false teachers among Christians (2 Peter 2). Testing and discernment from God is needed to see if the so called prophet is indeed from God.
Question John, would you make a video about salvation? There is a pasture out there on TH-cam that's preaching Faith plus nothing equals salvation, and many of us have been debating him, telling him we all should follow Jesus and his commandments and his teachings, like being water baptized and repenting of sins, and he goes right back to Faith plus nothing equals salvation you don't have to do anything else, a lot of us feel like he is misleading a lot of people, because we have read comments saying well I used to make myself stop sinning now I won't worry about it would you please enlighten us on this and make a video,and of course we all know that we must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior for salvation but we are also trying to point out to him the Lord commanded us to do a lot of other things to walk with please make this video and help us with this 🙏
The thief wasn't baptized. You are saved by grace through faith. But a genuine faith should lead to repentance and good works. Remember James says faith without works is dead. If a person says they believe in Jesus but act like they belong to the world, live in fornication, living for the love of material goods then you have to wonder if they had genuine faith in the first place. Also see John 15:2.
We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus, nothing else. Ephesians 2:8-9. Read Romans 10:9-10 too. To be saved we must confess Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. Neither of these Scripture references add anything else to be saved. We do the other things...good works and baptism because we are saved, not to get saved.

Dear John. I'm not American so this is not a political question BUT in the theme of this message, WHY did so many Evangelical (apparent prophets), prophesied that TRUMP would win a second term 2019-2020 election but came up short. ?
Because they prophesied from their flesh or from a demonic spirit or something. Isn’t that the definition of false prophets ? Why did the thief steal ? Well because he’s a thief. However, I believe there’s grace for them to repent and correct their ways. Also look up the Qanon movement. It’s a lying spirit on its own that caused so many havocs.
Put simply, they were feeling with their emotions and not hearing the Holy Spirit, so they have a false prophecy. People often confuse an emotional sense of hope with the peace of God.
Paul was speaking about those who make themselves apostles, but didn't he make his own self an apostle? Who is this Paul really? This is my question over and over again.
Jesus sent him to the gentiles to preach the gospel. Even showed him how much he would suffer. No one would do such intense and prolonged suffering on a self-sought mission! Read Acts 9 and you'll have your first answer. An apostle is a sent one, from the Greek word 'apostolos', which simply means 'a person sent'. Jesus Himself did the sending. But who are You, Tina, to question what Jesus made Paul to be??? Who are you to place doubts there over and over again? Isn't that satan's work, to doubt Gods intentions?
Because Israel had sinned gravely and this was the punishment for their many sins. Your answer is in Deuteronomy 28. But your question is not from a right spirit. Jeremiah was sent by God. You're questioning that to begin with. Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, so you won't accuse true prophets again! And please read your whole Bible carefully and prayerfully, so you are protected from the tendency to jump to conclusions again.

I was saying how could God direct evil on someone and since Jeremiah was a prophet, he was telling the truth. I don’t doubt he was a prophet. Thank you for pointing me to Deut 28. I haven’t reconciled curses and death from God in the OT to grace and the curse being nailed to the cross in the NT yet. God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. I’m unclear how both can exist at His command.

He has provided a way out for believers. Yet, Jesus already said in Matthew 7: 13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a FEW find it." Although anyone can find reconciliation with God, many won't even consider it and rather follow their own lusts. The Holy Spirit is working on many people for long periods of time, helping them towards accepting God's grace. Those who resist Him, will in the end find themselves facing God, not as their Savior, but as their Judge. And His judgements are totally honest. All sins we do against others and Him is either forgiven by accepting Christ's atoning death on the cross in our place, or it is paid for by the sinner, who refused the atoning grace. God didn't have to show grace in the first place. He didn't have to give part of Himself in Jesus Christ to die that horrid death and to endure years of meanness and rebellion against Him. But He chose to do so. We are ever so 'lucky' to have Him be that way. Yet, because He is love, He feels all injustice as if it were done to Him. Like how a good parent rather is tortured himself, than see his child undergo torture. So God experiences the meanness of the entire planet, alongside us. When you were bullied, God was bullied with you. When you were ripped off, God was ripped of with you. But also: when you did the bullying, God suffered with the one you bullied. When you did the ripping off, God suffered the ripping off with the other one. We cannot see the wounds we cause in other people's souls, but they are severe! And just like we are Very Upset, when injustice happens to us, so God is Very Upset with us. And He will see to it, that the injustice is paid for! Either by Himself, in Jesus Christ, or by the sinner, when He refuses Jesus Christ to pay it for him. And although God is extremely patient, there comes a point, when it is time to pay. When we allow God to feast His grace upon us, He showers us with mercy after mercy. He'll train us up and oversee much error. But when we rebelliously refuse the prompting of the Holy Spirit to repent of our sins, this will rob us of the only way to salvation. Everyone, who will repent of his sins and accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, will find also his sins were nailed on the cross! God's default is mercy and grace. But anyone, who doesn't want to have it, may and must undergo the full penalty for their sins. In the end God will even pour out His judgement en masse on a world, who chose evil, in hope some still repent. It's sort of His last call. Evil is SO bad and distorts SO much, that it has to be done away with. Anyone tying himself tightly to evil, will be thrown into hell with the evil. It's too stupid, but alas, the majority loves doing their evil and does not seek God's grace. Hope this helps.
