This was so fun to watch as always! I love where you're taking her. The hair is a little bit off since it doesn't usually just become tubes when it's twisted, the front edges need to be flattened a bit. You've already caught everything else I spotted! Great work so far, I'm looking forward to the next video.
I love this project! What scale size are you working to with her? And it's a lot of fun to sit and watch this. I've shown it to a couple guys and there's a lot of love. One question, why'd you choose to sculpt her by hand?
Glad you all enjoyed it! She’s 54mm ish, I find that a little nicer to work in than 28mm. I could give you a fancy reason about how tool position in physical sculpting is closer to brush position in the painting process and so on, but really it comes down to me not being that good at digital sculpting. Although I would like a real life undo button 🤣
@@makominiatures Ooo. That's a fun size to work with in my opinion. And that's a good enough reason as any! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project in the future. Especially the stained glass part, that's going to be neat!
@@makominiatures 32mm I can do, but that's Kingdom Death lol. I'm still not sure about 15mm myself, but I'm going to be trying it out (or smaller) with Battletech in the future lol
Mark! This is incredible work - love your painting vids but this was a real treat to watch 👊
Thanks! It felt a bit weird to not paint anything in a video, glad it was worth it!

Thanks Chris! That’s a good shout on the hair, I can spread and flatten the tips without too much trouble - will add it to the list of tweaks 🙂

Right? Give me 54mm up or 15mm down any day, 30mm is a weird size 🤣
