Adding to the interracial relationship convo, I also believe people tend to go easier on black women dating outside vs black men dating outside is because we don’t see black women openly bashing black men and making them seem beneath other races as much as we see black men doing that to black women.
To make it clear yes black women bash black men as far as being accountable for certain things but rarely do we see them putting other races of men on a pedestal in comparison to black men.

I love the discussion about black business. I have a small bikini line and I needed to hear Dre’s critique on detailing the branding mechanism. Something I definitely need to work on if I’m considering making it a full time gig. It’s seasonal right now but has the potential of expanding 💭 And I’m actually blessed to have extremely supportive friends and family. That’s where most of my profit has come from. I love y’all 💕

Latasha Harlins was the young lady that was killed by the asian store owner and although she was sentenced to 10 years, it was reduced to probation and community service.

It used to be, you could tell shop owners that what you bought was already on your person; here's your money. As long as you had the money, point to what you want, hand it over and go. Soon Ja Du saw the juice in Latasha Harlins backpack, grabbed for it but snagged Latasha by her shoulder. As she jerked from Du's grip, The shop owner threw a stool at Harlins head which bought her enough time to draw a pistol.Harlins was shot in the back of her skull. Police say that as they arrived on scene, Latasha Harlins had the money for the juice in her hands.

Because of my personal experiences with Asians I really try not to patronize any of their businesses. For one, there's one particular hair store in my area that actually are owned and ran by Asians but everybody on the floor are black that's something new and lowkey appreciated. Because seriously how can you tell me what type of hair grease I need to use to grease my hair???? I just don't feel wanted so I personally just don't patronize them. P.S. I took a ecstasy pill once had a really bad trip, thought I was going to die, I couldn't sleep all night, and I never touched it again. It just was not for me, but I used to smoke weed so much they used to call me Smokey. I stop smoking about 13 yrs ago, and I am so proud of myself.

The story about the 15yr old girl getting killed over the OJ by the Asian was huge pivot in the black community and showed us how they viewed us.Specifically because the girl was going to pay for it but the store clerk accused her of trying to steal it until they saw the girl was reaching in her bag for her wallet to pay for it. The store clerk didn't do any time

LaTasha Harlins was killed for attempting to buy an orange juice. The store owner assumed she was attempting to steal, grabbed her and after LaTasha defended herself and left the orange juice, the store owner pulled out her gun and shot her in the back of the head as she walked away. RIP LaTasha ❤🙏🏾 Devastating to her family and all of us growing up in South Central. She attended my high school but was younger. The store owner was supposed to get a max sentence of 16 years for voluntary manslaughter. Instead the judge sentenced the store owner to probation. That part was another heartbreak.
That was end of 1991. The riots occurred in early 1992 after acquittals of the officers who beat Rodney King. Both had videos and neither resulted in jail time. The rage behind these two incidents and the miscarriage of justice were the spark which started the riots.
