I totally under, the need to feel safe is important for me. I would always pick a tall, physically fit guy, yet always felt this conflict of being safe but also feeling like there was missing. As I got older and healed from some trauma, I realized.. yes I want to find a man or woman that would meet me emotionally, financially and intellectually but also I could feel safe with them. Still looking but , enjoying my life and a full life and if it happens.. it happens. If it don’t, it don’t. But I understand where you are coming from.
