3:13 You see a phone number that starts with 0161 That's a giveaway. In the UK the start of the telephone number tells you which town it's in. Unless it's a mobile number (which starts with 07)
@@KenFullman I need to study the telephone dialing codes of the UK!
@@alloverthemap23it's worth knowing the 01X1 numbers as they cover a few large cities
0121 Birmingham
0131 Edinburgh
0141 Glasgow
0151 Liverpool
0161 Manchester
0171/0181 formerly London (now 0207/0208)
0191 Newcastle
The Wirral is the peninsular on the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool.
There was a big depiction of the Cornish peninsula on the wall you went past multiple times on the Cornwall one, little frustrating that you kept missing it but entertaining. Thanks for the video!
It was frustrating enough that the name Looe kept being mentioned without a guess being put down, but I guess that's just me being a massive train nerd. 😅🫣🫠
Thanks for watching!
The amount of times you looked straight at the Arndale shopping centre 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not familiar with central Manchester, but the thing that gave it away for me was the bee motif on the rubbish bin, which is the symbol of Manchester.
Recognised Manchester very generally, and then Looe very specifically. Spent a splendid holiday there last year. Probably my favourite place on Earth.
Thanks for playing my map. Great to see so many players and so many 25k's. Sorry about the glitched location (the unofficial coverage in Manchester) and your Wirral frustration. Wirral is West Liverpool ;-)
What's going on in Britain right now? Well, my local village is starting a campaign to block a 5G mast, haha
I was just thinking "Imagine if he gets put in Cumbernauld! Surely one of the most distinct town centres in the country"
And then it happened!
This is crazy. #1 is the town I live in. Odd but not too far-fetched. #3 is the big city nearby, again not that weird. Then #4 is my childhood holiday destination for years and years. Wish I'd played this set without watching first!
Have a try at the Geoguessr map “Dirty Chicken Shops UK”.
Very similar to this, but chicken shops. Dallas Fried Chicken, Miami Fried Chicken, Kansas Fried Chicken & even Alaskan Fried Chicken. Glorious.
Oh God, I recognised Cumbernauld right away
I absolutely could not place that location in Manchester and I was there a few weeks ago. I know where the Printworks is but could not find the Crowne Plaza or Cafe North. This is a good map though, thanks for the uk content :)
Thanks for watching! I really like this geoguessr map - more to come
I knew it was Manc too and was strugglnig with where Printworks was but missed the sign for Shudehill - once I spotted that I had it in 10 seconds
I live in Manchester, got the 3rd round instantly. I live about 10 minutes down the road from that exact location.
As a fellow United fan, I agree completely. So many players need to get out of the club. It’s clearly not a management issue at this point.
Another great video btw.
Thanks! It's frustrating to see the lack of effort in my opinion from some players - it seems like some just go through the motions.
Cool to see you mention lacrosse as a manchester reference.
Very annoyed. Missed the street sign clue on the photosphere so wasted a couple of minutes there and a lazy click by the harbour cost me a point. Could have been perfect in about 10 minutes if I had not been so casual with it :(
Didsbury, Manchester?
If that wasn't Padstow in the thumbnail, I will be upset.
Nails on a chalkboard! Lol
We Brits say blackboard
Fergie left and they've never recovered, that's what happened to Utd, all they buy is prima donna's for too much money and pay them too much so they're difficult to get rid of, some of those stubborn players they're seemingly stuck with know they'll get paid less if they leave so do everything they can to stay, making them a very disjointed team which shows little passion, if Utd don't get in the top half of the league very soon I can see yet another manager change though, which makes it a much deeper issue in my view, this season is a real sucker punch for fans after Ineos came in though, things were meant to pick up this season but instead have hit an all time low!
It's just so tough to watch. Scholes, Keane, Butt, Giggs, etc - all put in effort when ball was lost etc and was fun to watch when I began to watch United - I just love passion in football and it seems void of it
In Britain we pronounce khaki more like car key, to differentiate from a slang word for poo said like cakky, and pants are underwear. Your pronunciation of cakky pants just sounds like someone has digestive problems 😂😂😂 entertaining vids though.
I was in Looe yesterday. It's lovely. Pronounced the way you pronounce Lou Reed. There are tonnes of lovely villages and seaside towns in the southwest of the UK. Not the most happening part of the country, but you can't have it all. It's funny how awful most of you Americans are at pronouncing our stuff. 😂 Louie, Mercyside, Lyster square, Notting-Ham, Derby-shyre. Cute. Ps. Don't go to Liskeard!!! ❤
Khaki trousers, pronounced car key.
COYS.
