Bud, ipega 9023 'DOES NOT" have "ANALOG STICKS" use gamepad tester try to make a circle on axis test they are just modded dpads they are not analog sticks. They havent been on most andord controllers except GLAP, Xbox, dual shock and the newest ipega pirate .

There is a round cursor, it moves and presses everywhere on my tablet, how can I turn it off?
I’ve had the 9083s and it feels terrible in my hands just moving my right thumb from joy stick to buttons was a hassle, If it was a bit bigger that might help. Hopefully mobile players can get a game pad that fits well soon. Thanks for the review

Have you tried / would you mind trying some of these gamepads with 8" and 9.7" tablets in portrait orientation as they would best fit an emulated portrait arcade machine?

@@CDbiggenget a piece of paper and a ruler. Draw the aspect ratio first. Probably 16 X 10 or 9. Then create a rectangle. Then draw a horizontal line from corner to corner. Then measure the diagonal screen size along using the diagonal line you've drawn.
Then create a rectangle with the new box. Then allow a cm on all side for the bezels.
Measure the side length of the box you've drawn, and if it's less than 280cm, your tablet will fit.
I did this. Worked.

So if I bought the 9083s, which I believe you mentioned was better for PUBG mobile , which screen icons would I have to touch because the game controller doesn't operate?
Lucky I checked your video before ordering the 9083S from 'aliexpress' as I intended to use it with a 10.2" IOS iPad. There is a suggestion in a post further down that controller mapping solves the IOS problems. What do you think about this? Thanks again for the comparisons.

I just bought the iPega 9083S and I just can't map the buttons on ePSXe. It simply doesn't detect the iPega and I can't find anything on a google search to figure out what the issue is. Were you able to get this to work on ePSXe?

I don't like the arrangement of the right analogue stick at the ipega.
You have to constantly reach around to switch between the buttons and the analogue stick with your thumb. It would be better if the stick was below, or even better diagonally next to the buttons. As is usual with Playstation and X-Box controllers.
In its current form it just feels unwieldy. I hope Ipega or other manufacturers will rethink the design and create a new telescopic controller. Unfortunately there is nothing else on the market. The design of the Gamevice controllers for Ipad is actually okay, but they don't have R3/L3 and they are not available for android tablets. So that's a nogo too.

I have the 9023 and it's great but NOT for racing, I'm looking for a game pad that is. The problem is the shoulder buttons, they're just buttons, when I'm in a driving game, I'd like to not go full throttle or full break. Got the new xbox streaming service that apparently is free with my ultimate pass and I LOVE Forza Horizon 3 and 4 but I can't give a little gas if I want.
Any suggestions on game pads that have pressure sensitive shoulder buttons? Thanks for the video!
Could you try the 9083 with a 10 inch tablet in portrait mode playing a pinball game like williams pinball app. I'm wondering how well the controller will handle a tablet in portrait mode and how comfortable it is and if the buttons would work? Thanks for the nice video.
Ok so I just tested it and it does work with that game. However, it's a little weird. The left trigger/shoulder buttons or right dpad can control the left flipper and the right is controlled by the Y button (right trigger/shoulder buttons do nothing). Not perfect as far as being comfortable since its a little top heavy but not bad either (with the Galaxy tab a 10.1)

They are digital not pressure sensitive.

Is there any solution to fix the aweful dead zones of the analog sticks on the 9083? They feel more like a digipad no matter you play native android games or on emulators.

Charging port yes, but headphone port will be blocked unless you use a larger 10" tablet

@@prod.freedomatlast8100 it's for the controller. I don't think you could charge the phone or tablet with either of these while playing.

You might have it on the wrong connection mode. Usually it's up/home at the same time or could be left/home or right/home. One is x mode, standard Android mode and iOS mode. Don't remember which though (mine just always connects automatically).

Bought a 9083s and couldn't get it to work at all. Tried it on 2 tablets one running Android 6 and one running Android 9. It would connect on both but refuses to configure to anything, on the 6 tablet it isn't recognised on snes9x at all, on the 9 tablet the top button will result in returning to the menu when trying to map but nothing else works. Also tried to configure it through Retroarch and still nothing. Tried all switch options on the left handle, when connecting to see if that was the issue, nothing. Pure junk.
It could be the way it's connected. There's about two or three ways depending on what device. I'm thinking it's holding up and home or left and home but I don't remember off hand. The other way is holding right and home but I think that might be for iOS.
@@FishBeeProductions I watched another of your videos with the 9167, on that one you hold the up button while pressing home to pair, I tried this and it worked! Thanks for the reply, I'd given up on this device, why it doesn't tell you this in the instructions at all is beyond me.

The 9083 I purchased said it supported the Nintendo Switch but they ended up sending me 9083s. I’m so pissed!

If u feel this cheap controller not make u to buy, my suggestion is buy XBOX controller because it is works well on both laptop and mobile.
Both pads have horrible dpad.
Both dont have analog trigers.
Both are using the old usb mini.
The market is to small, theres not one single good gamepad for tablet in the market.

No, the 9083s doesn't use any app. I don't remember on the other one.
