Were fixing things asap thanks your feedback. Were definitely pushing towards recrating what we originally imagined and pressing forward to exceed expectations eventually. We know its a rough world out here expecially for a small team like us with 0 funds. Hopefully we can exceed your expectations one day. If there is anything im not, its lazy. Im currenly active duty military and I think that my passion was flooded more towards socom due to the profound effect it had on my life.

Some aspects of the game look good, kill feed, main menu, models. I think it's just to early to shit on the game. The description of the game should probably be changed though, Give it a year i think it will be a lot better.

This hits home for I too am a huge SOCOM fan and it sucks to know that we may never get another good game. It motivates me to want to drop what I am doing for my personal project and try my hardest to work on a SOCOM like game but I know it would be very tough, especially for a solo dev as myself. Either way, great video and you had me laughing on this one. "Transformative" lol.
If there's something that has always impressed me about the mobile market, it's how games on these platforms manage to steal images, sounds ,assets and animations from other games and, somehow,they find a way to get away.
Because they aren't selling the game and people usually don't pay attention to the mobile gaming market, which is ironic because its one of the biggest markets in gaming.

7:00 yooo, i forgot about that game. I bought a PS Vita when i was in infantry school in the corps because we were only allowed to have phones on the weekends... so one weekend i bought the Vita and just hid it in my wall locker and would play that game at night.
The reason the game won't have aim assist is because they have no idea how to implement it. It has nothing to do with them claiming to give an authentic realistic feel.
Hi BigFry, well this is somewhat of an Template-Flip(?) they used a unity FPS Template and did a shitty job customizing this. I only know this cause im using the same template (not the mobile version). This will be a problem like pure asset flips - this time they may changed some models, but not the sounds and game modes or even the gun handling. the Weapon customisation is 1:1 the (Addon) you can buy for the Template. And NO not playing this :D
One thing I noticed with a lot of these SOCOM style games is while the guys are passionate they never try to get enough people to actually make the games they dream of. Having to pull double, triple, or quadruple duty means these guys cut corners and have to do things they're not capable of doing. I think that's why we keep seeing all the SOCOM map ripoffs, they don't have anyone capable of doing proper map design so they resort to going "'memba Desert Glory? 'memba Frostfire? We 'made' a map just like it." I've seen this way too many times in indie development, people have an idea and lack the skills or experience, they don't want to grab people to do the project, or they don't want pushback on their ideas because the game is their baby and any criticism is taken as a direct attack on the project instead of genuine suggestions to improve the product.
I think that some devs today genuinely don’t give a shit what type of products they push out as long as they get paid for it. This game is an obvious cash grab. Devs like this make it harder to trust other indie devs who want to give players quality products.

Clean up animations, make sure the problems he was experiencing are fixed. Get rid of any copyright issues. Maybe get a map maker on the team and get custom maps in game. Make a 3rd person shooter experience that a younger you would be proud to play. Also take player feedback seriously. Not every idea is a great one but there is still gold to be heard.
New developers need to have the mindset that Socom is a navy seal training software for situations rather than just a third person shooter when attempting to create their projects. After you see it as a software to train in certain situations and environments, then you can go back into the game and add more guns and customizations. I would love to have the opportunity to spend countless hours creating a game like Socom. Somewhere along the way these developers think they have to take people away from call of duty and and other braindead shooter games so they must include functions that they have in order to compete. They don’t get that Socom doesn’t have a competitor; their developers did not and would not find answers for solving issues and mismanaged a lot of their money made off Socom and 1&2.
If there ever is a successful socom remake the toxic fans would surely make sure nobody else would want to play it anyways. May socom rest peacefully in the dunes of time

And why is there points displayed on the screen when you kill someone just like in call of duty? Why do the characters run like they do in call of duty? And there is even a call of duty map? It makes me soo angry that resources were wasted on another mock call of duty game.

I bet they'll get away with it lol have you not seen Critical-Strike? That game is a straight rip off of Counter-Strike and has been around for years. The dev actually did an open alpha/beta for this game via TestFlight like 6 months ago. It was meh but probably the only Socom-like game on phones.

First of all, I will never touch a mobile game lol, second this game looks bad. Nobody, and I mean nobody has ever come close to reviving, recreating a suitable, great recreation of a Socom like game. Not even come close. Yes I have 1800 hours in HHOUR, or even shoot the shit on Peak 53. HHOUR is what got me into PC gaming, have cool gaming friends that I play it with still, met you and all the other great gaming friends/players from HHOUR. Its just there, lol... With that said, we may only get mediocre out of the indie space when it comes to Socom. Until a great recreation comes along, that's just how it will be. Unfortunately.
Honestly I hope Peak.53 does well I played the alpha but not recently because they're working on a new update, but I think I'm just hopeful for a PC SOCOM like experience it might not for everyone but I just want a SOCOM like experience that is better than H Hour World's Elite which isn't saying much because that game could've been great I liked it for what it was but since there was no more development on it the game pretty much failed like you said. I hope your game does well though even if it is a singleplayer game which doesn't bother me I'll try it out once it releases.

I bet they'll get away with it lol have you not seen Critical-Strike? That game is a straight rip off of Counter-Strike and has been around for years. The dev actually did an open alpha/beta for this game via TestFlight like 6 months ago. It was meh but probably the only Socom-like game on phones.
Nothing to get away with here. They are simliar but we added cool changes we though would play better. We are in the process of scrapping and just making new expiriences. On us.
Mobile is simply dumb. Who the heck would play on their phone? I don't have that much downtime where I can whip out a match in a lineup. Hilarious.

First of all, I will never touch a mobile game lol, second this game looks bad.
Nobody, and I mean nobody has ever come close to reviving, recreating a suitable, great recreation of a Socom like game. Not even come close. Yes I have 1800 hours in HHOUR, or even shoot the shit on Peak 53. HHOUR is what got me into PC gaming, have cool gaming friends that I play it with still, met you and all the other great gaming friends/players from HHOUR. Its just there, lol...
With that said, we may only get mediocre out of the indie space when it comes to Socom. Until a great recreation comes along, that's just how it will be. Unfortunately.
It definitely is a work in progress. Its a hard thing to do. But im still vowed to create an expirience through continued updates.

Honestly I hope Peak.53 does well I played the alpha but not recently because they're working on a new update, but I think I'm just hopeful for a PC SOCOM like experience it might not for everyone but I just want a SOCOM like experience that is better than H Hour World's Elite which isn't saying much because that game could've been great I liked it for what it was but since there was no more development on it the game pretty much failed like you said. I hope your game does well though even if it is a singleplayer game which doesn't bother me I'll try it out once it releases.

Why are people trying to recreate socom experience ? No one wants early 2000s experience. We want envolved experience. Take what zipper did and envolved the experience. Don't make just a carbon copy of something we got 20 plus years ago. Sad
I can tell just lazy to copy and paste assets. There is liar as there should be programmer but they are not programmer at all. It clearly watermark test. I think it stolen how could those bug exist. Those indie dev would not see this simple mistake and I bet they are not good at coding it. Still need to research who really in charge and just feel like scam. No one copy rights image to lead to lawsuit.

We're different devs. They ripped 1 for 1. Ours were rebuilt and re imagined .. but we're scraping them.
Caliber and Task Force were the closest thing you'll get to reliving Socom. Unless you develop something yourself its not gonna happen.
