Just bought one. Same color way and all. I didnt like the look so much, so i also bought a black grip with a black pro cut slide with a Romeo 1 pro red dot. Hopefully i like it 🙏. Loved the way it holds as well! Feels amazing.
Imo they 17/18 are junk. With the use that the soldiers use them for they have not held up well. Out of over 140 pistols I would say 80% have issues. Our M9s held up better and to my knowledge never got deadlined
I bought first time out a Sig P238 .380 for edc,and a Sig P226 and both are awesome,,,I could tell I did good by the reaction of some of the other gun enthusiasts at the range, nice shooters, very accurate, feel great,,and no misfires WITH approx 1500 rounds for both, both with kreoten finish,hv had both for 3yrs,not a scratch
The 226 was my first gun and I have well over 15k rounds through it and the only issue I ever had was cheap ammo, I shot it so much I had to get it blued again.
For me it was between this and a glock 19x. The m18 felt super chunky and bulky to me even with a high grip. Its a beautiful looking gun but for my personal opinion glock felt alot better in my hands than the sig does. Now i have a friend who has the sigp365 macro x and holy shit i wish i would have did more research before because that grip conceal ability and feel was amazing.
Funny I had the opposite opinion just the other day. I had high hopes for the glock but I really liked the p320. the grip and gun felt snug in my hand.
@@FirstnameLastname-wo2zqsay what you want about glocks at least they don’t go off in holsters or when you drop them and I have a sig it was the biggest waste a money a person could ever possibly make.
It scratches easy because Sigs slide coatings are garbage. U damn near have to send them out for cerakote immediately after purchase. It’s the sexiest pistol brand I’ve ever fired and held, but the slide coating on all models is weak as hell. If they fix that little problem some day, I’ll buy an armory of sigs.
We got issued these in the navy switched from the reliable Beretta M9 to the M18 and for smaller guys like myself fits in the hand perfect but only drawback is if you use shitty ammo the m18 has a chambering issue but don’t cheap out like the navy and you should be fine
I honestly hate sig p320’s and let me tell you why. First off all, when you drop them down the stairs they turn full auto. Second of all, they feel horrible in my hand. Lastly, they shoot horrible and it doesn’t feel good. GLOCK🔛🔝

I started with a Sig custom works fcu with the skeletonized trigger and purchased the M18 X change kit without the manual safety and I love it. After a while I found the M17 slide for sale on GB and now I have the best of both worlds.
What those the sig sauer p320 m17 or m18 pistol bullet use and what is the best bullet that can penetrate the body armor and used to the sig sauer p320 m17 or m18
Little tip on your grip, place your right thumb on top of your left thumb so you can cinch that grip on the gun and and less on your thumb that’s overlapping. Great video 👍
Don't give this tip. Not everyone shoots the same. A dude from the old generation using Weaver stance and thumb-over-thumb technique can easily beat you.
My aim absolutely sucks with this gun. I can’t fix it. lol it’s so irritating. I’m accurate with my p365 but this gun hope. Can’t put it anywhere I want to.
Look into it. I own a 17, and it is treated with self-healing coating. Clean it an leave a small very small film of CLP on it, it's going to leave you impressed.
They should have went with the G19x and told Glock to cut out the slide for a red dot.. which apparently Glock has recently done,, it’s the G19x MOS I guess it would be…
Man even your rear sights look like they correct I’ve noticed that about all sig m18s I personally own one at this point I like the color more than the gun, it’s also very snappy with a good amount of recoil.
Sigs a notorious for there bad finishes. I have two legion models and I swear the p226 had holster wear after three days in a leather holster. I complained and Sig refinished it free of charge. But shouldn’t happen with a $1400 gun. Needles to say it’s a safe queen now.
How has it treated you since the beginning till now? Any complaints? How many rounds did you put through it? Any jam and if so, which type of ammo was it? I’m looking into it and hopefully I can get a decent red dot for it.
Did they ever fix the going off by itself issue? I know a lot of it was new hire cops blaming the gun going off on sig when the idiot cops farted around and made it go off but still.
We carry them alot, not a fan honestly. Always running into problems with the slide not fully seating even after deep cleaning. Then again, we always take them to field events more than actually shooting.
Scratches disappear after a few days, my sig has been scratched a lot of times! You just gotta forget about it after a few days it’s gone.
Magic 😂
A little bit of oil and a rag…buff it out. Works in classic P Series and the M18/M17
😂😂😂😂I wish
I love how it's an m18, just like all my cordless tools 😏
😂
Milwaukee M18
cordless hole punch
Milwaukee for life😂😂
Haha I never even thought of that. I also have a bunch of Milwaukee M18 tools and a Sig m18
Well, he wasn’t lyin with “a couple of shots”
he said “a few”
@@xDismosis 🤷🏼 Im a little retarded excuse me
Ammo ain’t cheap
The video had to be cut early because of all the malfunctions 🤣🤣🤣
"take a few shots" ... So it WAS a lie.
The m18 is so nice looking! I like the m17 a lot, but the slide being flush with the frame makes the m18 look so clean
You can get an extended frame for them
Not much of a Sig guy but I tried my buddies P320 and I was amazed how little recoil it had.
M18 or 17?
@@Taylor_mad3 He has the M17.
Very flat shooter m18
I had the same experience
S&W and Canik are better options
Shot these at MP school back in november, nice gun!
795th B co
That’s a beautiful firearm
Comes ready with the sight mount, they fixed the internals so it doesn't go boom boom. The people hating on it are just ego fudds

I've dropped and thrown my Glock 19X
Still not a scratch.
😏
Brokie
How did you end up with that really cus I need one
buy one?

The 226 was my first gun and I have well over 15k rounds through it and the only issue I ever had was cheap ammo, I shot it so much I had to get it blued again.
i agree the finish on the m18 in general has proven to be garbage to me but its still one of my favorite guns and dets coming from a glock guy

I ran the m17 in the Army with cheap ammo and never had a problem yet. Clean and lube your pistol maaaiiinnee
Aesthetically not pleasing to me. So blocky man
glocky
Sigs are the shit!!!!!
Looks perfect in that tan color.
You seriously don’t know how to properly grip your gun? Come on man. 1999 called and they want their crap grip back.

Didn't know you could sculpt with peanut butter...
Can you use it for self defense?
Thumb over the safety my man. The way you are gripping it is how you accidentally engage the safety while shooting, ya gotta shoot it like a 1911
Saya ingin membelinya tapi caranya bagaimana.?
I feel attacked that this man hashtagged every m18 using branch except air force, show some security forces some love.
I started with a Sig custom works fcu with the skeletonized trigger and purchased the M18 X change kit without the manual safety and I love it. After a while I found the M17 slide for sale on GB and now I have the best of both worlds.
I Cerakote mine, just the slide midnight bronze and looks great.
Glock should have got the contract over them they have terrible quality control.
It does scratch, really easy. Just from taking it out of my holster.
What those the sig sauer p320 m17 or m18 pistol bullet use and what is the best bullet that can penetrate the body armor and used to the sig sauer p320 m17 or m18
Those r sum nice guns, u have a stock M17 & I really enjoy shooting it.
It's a good gun. It is a exact copy of a Glock but I would take it any day. It's perfect
I bet you drop mags while shooting with your thumbs like that
Don’t trust anyone who grips his pistol like that.
Army had a mistake not taking the G19x
I want this gun! (But the military contract version)
Muito linda e bonita ótima qualidade boa pistola militar ótima
Best gun out right now
Sure just don’t drop it
Anyone know why they designed it to where you lose the rear sights of you add a red dot? I think that’s kinds wack
"ohh no my gun is scratched its ruined "
Mine is new and it’s giving me problems
Tan guns are ugly
If you close your eyes they don’t look as bad.
From the recoil I can tell you know how to shoot
not saying its not a nice guy but i've never been a fan of the bore axis
Stop crossing your thumbs!!!!!!!
Get a holster before u need a cerakote
Feels 10 times better in the hand with Wilson Combat grip module. Looks better too
Little tip on your grip, place your right thumb on top of your left thumb so you can cinch that grip on the gun and and less on your thumb that’s overlapping. Great video 👍
Some people shoot differently, there's some championship shooters that do what he's doin. Whatever works for ya, works.
Don't give this tip. Not everyone shoots the same. A dude from the old generation using Weaver stance and thumb-over-thumb technique can easily beat you.
It’s funny everyone commenting on his grip when he changes after first shot the thumb comes over into top position
Be sure not to slam it too hard😉😂

Don’t drop it
Sigs have terrible finish
Beautiful piece of crap 😂
Can I get that for free please
Ok now drop it
Im a huge fan of m18 but damn! They need to do something about that stock trigger
They did years ago.
it is a military handgun, not a sporting one. All the military handguns have notoriously shitty triggers, except for a few, maybe
Thumb over not under
Look into it. I own a 17, and it is treated with self-healing coating. Clean it an leave a small very small film of CLP on it, it's going to leave you impressed.
I use frog lube on mine.
I love mine. Shoots true. I don’t drop it. So I haven’t had any issues 😂
The cerakote finish does seem pretty not durable compared to the Glock 19x finish. It does shoot well though.
"it scratches easily." Every firearm does. It's a tool, not a Gucci purse.
I plan on getting this as my first conceal carry, bad idea? All opinions welcome
Id rather have an m9
Firing pins don’t shoot out?
They should have went with the G19x and told Glock to cut out the slide for a red dot.. which apparently Glock has recently done,, it’s the G19x MOS I guess it would be…
CA legal now?
19x is better
Don't drop it
Man even your rear sights look like they correct I’ve noticed that about all sig m18s I personally own one at this point I like the color more than the gun, it’s also very snappy with a good amount of recoil.
Horrible gun, 80 injuries in CA alone for the gun firing on its own
😂😂😂😂😂 no bruh.....

It makes my fingers feel numb every time I shoot
Valor?
Sig will repair it for you I had mine pained black by them for free
Waiting to pick mines up nice video✅
I picked up the black grip and it looks WAY better.
Is this an actual M18 or a commercial/civilian P320 M18? I couldn't see the markings. Just curious.

I was going to buy one . Tried it out but it's too small for my hands.. I ll keep my 2022 it feels more like a gun
Rub lubricant on scratches in a circular motion
I love how mine feels in my feet 😂 kidding i love that gun so smooth & comfortable
That bore axis is higher than Willie Nelson
The thing they didn't show in this video is that the guy doesn'teven touch the trigger
We carry them alot, not a fan honestly. Always running into problems with the slide not fully seating even after deep cleaning. Then again, we always take them to field events more than actually shooting.
Colt 1911 is better
I put a deltapoint pro on mine it's amazing.
Yeah I love deltapoints, I just can’t justify putting one on. $600 pistol lol. I have a few on my staccatos and sig elites.
It's a gun sweetness, it's suppose to get starches.
Would it be a good EDC gun ?
I have the air soft version
Would you buy a 226 or the p320m18
Ah yes dog sour
Mine also scratches super easy. Mine is black so it’s kinda noticeable
