HI VILLAGE TO TOWN TV, PLEASE TALK TO BOTH THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KIAMBU AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO AT LEAST RENOVATE THOSE DILAPIDATED BUILDINGS, REPAIR THE ROADS WITHIN THE KARURI TOWN.
This is my home area , born , raised, gone to school and now aging there. Truly it has taken a lot of years to grow . As you see we have many things, karuri hospital, primary schools, police station etc. . It’s true people die young . Stress, sickness, abuse of alcohol, hunger etc causes many deaths.
Maybe you could provide more information on economic activities in the towns. Such as sources of income, main employers, jobs and business opportunities.
It is worthy noting that Raining had the 1st formal and licenced bar in the area and people came as far as Kikuyu to enjoy a beer without restrictions like it was the norm then. This bar was operated by non other than The late Hon. Njenga Karume EBS

It's a good move for karuri people but just to add Banana Hill is a name from a mzee who used to sell bananas to mzungus early 50s so the white Man gave the place name Banana Hill
Kudos on the unique content. I don't know if these small shopping centres can be rejuvenated without first having to merge the plots into viable sizes...
