As someone who loves bodybuilding. It starts from a place of insecurity I can admit that. Most the time these guys myself included can be pretty sensitive. You rarely run into these types in martial arts circles. If I could afford the training I’d go. But I got dealt with a few years ago and I know now my muscles don’t translate to a fight. I don’t look for fights but others look for it with me and the first insult they throw is “ your muscles don’t mean shit” lmaooo
I got my start in the gym in boxing before eventually landing in bodybuilding. The entire gym reeks of insecure men. So many guys that are fighters go around trying to prove themselves. So many guys that lift go around trying to show off over everyone. It’s just toxic as hell. The worst part is it gives a lot of us normal people a bad name. The best people in the gym are the professionals. Be it fighters or bodybuilders or powerlifters. Almost everyone that holds pro status in something are super chill and friendly.
That was actually one of the most damning for poor Bradley. Surely when an old man who is tiny compared to you, who is not a fighter or even an athlete, says his neck is injured, you as a very large, supposedly skilled fighter can work around it and take him down through other methods. Instead he goes _directly_ for the neck immediately and _still_ looks like he's in the fight for his life; it looked like despite it all Bryan was having more fun with it! Brad is right; he is indeed huge and should be quite formidable with some skill. It seems odd that he has acquired so cartoonishly little even with his huge ego and constant trash talk. Has he just not bothered for some reason or is he just unusually untalented?
The reason Bradley got aggressive on Bryan wasn't only because he was losing, it was because Callun knocked off Bradley's hat which if you didn't know, is Brad's BIGGEST insecurity and why he wears a hat ALL the time but is why he doesn't have a steady girlfriend either. The worst part is he has done every treatment for hair and nothing works for him. He is another guy picked on in school, thought getting buff would intimidate the world, went bald, stayed in pain, realized his size is all he has for his mental security which is an extremely soft spot as well as full of delhsion. I’m not gonna call myself a bodybuilder like this clown but I have trained in fighting gyms and normal gyms and I’d say the most insecure people I’ve met are fighters who have no muscles because they always say “muscles mean nothing” which isn’t true at all.

Your size won’t help from a blood choke, an arm lock or multiple other moves that fighters have been doing and perfected.

I got my start in the gym in boxing before eventually landing in bodybuilding. The entire gym reeks of insecure men. So many guys that are fighters go around trying to prove themselves. So many guys that lift go around trying to show off over everyone. It’s just toxic as hell. The worst part is it gives a lot of us normal people a bad name.
The best people in the gym are the professionals. Be it fighters or bodybuilders or powerlifters. Almost everyone that holds pro status in something are super chill and friendly.
You get humbled in martial arts very quickly. Thats why. There are insane levels to fighting game.
You can build muscle but you cannot pass English class 😂

That was actually one of the most damning for poor Bradley. Surely when an old man who is tiny compared to you, who is not a fighter or even an athlete, says his neck is injured, you as a very large, supposedly skilled fighter can work around it and take him down through other methods. Instead he goes _directly_ for the neck immediately and _still_ looks like he's in the fight for his life; it looked like despite it all Bryan was having more fun with it!
Brad is right; he is indeed huge and should be quite formidable with some skill. It seems odd that he has acquired so cartoonishly little even with his huge ego and constant trash talk. Has he just not bothered for some reason or is he just unusually untalented?
The reason Bradley got aggressive on Bryan wasn't only because he was losing, it was because Callun knocked off Bradley's hat which if you didn't know, is Brad's BIGGEST insecurity and why he wears a hat ALL the time but is why he doesn't have a steady girlfriend either. The worst part is he has done every treatment for hair and nothing works for him. He is another guy picked on in school, thought getting buff would intimidate the world, went bald, stayed in pain, realized his size is all he has for his mental security which is an extremely soft spot as well as full of delhsion. Its sad when you figure him out.
The best part is Bryan was trying significantly less than Bradley and he tapped because he realized how hard brad was going for everything he had on the line. Not worth getting more injured over some idiots ego.

Ronnie coleman might be able to snap my femur like a toothpick, but rhat requires him to be able to get a hold of me. A slippery MMA fighter won't let that happen.

I’m not gonna call myself a bodybuilder like this clown but I have trained in fighting gyms and normal gyms and I’d say the most insecure people I’ve met are fighters who have no muscles because they always say “muscles mean nothing” which isn’t true at all.

brad confuses how he can beat most people who have no training in a fight, because yes when both people have no technique it does come down to the stronger, heavier person, but when you're fighting people who love to be held close and know how to slither around you like a snake and strangle you out it.... becomes a different story.

Don’t get me wrong pure strength will take you some of the way but thinking it’s going take you past dudes who’ve been professional fighters for years and are in great shape is wild, lifting isn’t the same as fighting and all that weight is going to make you slow and gas out quicker there’s a reason soldiers, firemen and fighters are in shape but not massive they’ve got to have the endurance to keep moving and working. Your size won’t help from a blood choke, an arm lock or multiple other moves that fighters have been doing and perfected.
all is correct except for the arm lock. it will 100 percent help a lot in that situation. will it negate all arm bars, no ofc not, but it will give a very good chance of stopping a not so good arm bar from a light guy
