@smunsunrik its a camaro. first reason you can tell is the location of the license plate. second is the camaro logo on the front. why you think it is a firebird or trans am is they were all made by gm. all three cars are the same just with different names and logos. and small differences such as license plate location. camaros are located inside the light strip. trans am/firebird on on bumper while a logo is in the strip. you look in car parts books and the parts for these cars are the same

@bobo007xx Perhaps, the video was filmed from another car & possibly from a portable device, in which case, it would be hard to mount a tripod under such circumstances. It was hard finding these in good condition. Whenever I saw one at the used lot the engine & drivetrain were in bad shape. I always admired them, though. I prefered the Firebird, though the Camaro's seemed to always have better engine options. Not that it applies to the submitter, though. It sounds like the computer is a confused

If I was going to have a blower on any car I'd have the one that when you press the accelerator those valves things open up(they're red usually =/) it's so cool looking =)

@bamfan2044 True, although I put 10 grand into my original Vair's motor and all the bugs are worked out, turned out if you machine the heads out it fixes the problem.
@MrCamaroowner Classic Industries, GM parts direct, and some parts you may have to do a lot of Googling for. I have to hunt parts for my 1987 IROC-Z.

Yah idle surge is fairly common on cammed blower/carb cars. Only thing i would change is i'd give it a 6-spd and buy myself a camera tri-pod ;)

wow why is there so much hate for this car man , it has blower, it has a big cam , what look like 1000+ cfm 4 barrel holleys, and from how it handles it has a four link set up and tubbed. i dont think he spun over 2800 rpm , and f bodys weight nonthing, factory says 3500 , and put one on a semi scale before it became a race car and it was 3100 lb. , yeah
anybody know what a good price to pay for a 93z28 has 91 000 miles and in good shape just lookin for a little help on a price before i make an offer there asking $5000

@bmx4lyfe28 I am not being cocky, it wouldn't be the first mustang I smoked with my 4X4. I used to own a couple mustangs but I have had better luck with the chevys. I spend more time driving them then fixing them like I did with the two mustangs I used to own. I beat an dogomatic mustang gt with my old grand am with the 3.4 V-6. I even liked the cobra my dad used to have.

Dude.. that is an awsome camaro. I also have an 89 camaro with a 350 stroked to 383 with flat tops, forged internals, and I am putting a b&m 177 blower on it this weekend.. any advice ??? Thanks!
Also, 700r4 pro built with corvette servos, stage 3-4 clutches, rated up to 700 hp.... should be pretty stout :)

ok i am guilty of this too in my vids as well but to help u out wit that u can get the camera guy a tripod i think it woul do fdone wonders for your vid but other then that that car is the deffinition of badass

Was cool how the music tied in with the engine growl too! B-) We don't see enough Muscle cars over here in the UK. Especially ones like this! I'd really love a 3rd Gen Camaro, but at $9.90 per gallon here, its a bit of a dream for me..... For now anyway. Watch this space though. Good luck with the Beast mate ;)
@MrMustangFan87 I think it depends on the state you live in to be legal? Here in IL. if you keep your license plates up to date, keep all your lights on it and working, and just have MT drag radials on it you can drive it on the street. You also have to write a letter with pictures and send it in to the emissions place so that you don't have to go any more if it's 95 and newer. It probably is a bad street car if he has a 5 gallon gas tank in it.
@Warblade118 pull up that arguement that a car neeeds to "handle". A car can never be satisfying in the corners. Because a car itself is a fundementally flawed transportational device. Simply because your inside a box. You got air conditioning and heat. Your completely shielded from the elements. And usually unless you have a lot of money, which most of us dont, your car wont EVER sound like this sickass camaro. So if you have no money, buy a bike.

Sorry small correction. When people say this, they are comparing sports cars. Like for instance a camaro, older corvette, mustang, charger, challanger and so on to say Bmws, GTRs, ashton martins, mercedes, lotus and so on. It is a little exageration that they will jump into a bush but certainly this camaro is not meant for the corner junkie, which i think is a ridiculous concept by itself, I ride a bike and there is nothing like that in the corner so I dont get why people always

How do you compare your rally car with all wheel drive to this? This car is violence, turns up about 700 horsepower, its defientely front heavy, and would probably jump in a bush when it sees a corner. BUT certainly your car with 4 cylinders in it cant pump out 700HP. Now can american cars handle in general? No but there are some that are bettter than the competion. IE z06 corvette.
@666DRaZZ666 So you are saying "I can tune an engine to get more power than a stock engine so the stock engine must suck". With all the displacement, you can tune the engine to be as mad as you can afford, need, and/or dare. For everyone else, I wouldn't complain much. Even back then, American cars could handle a corner quite well, so long as you knew what you were doing. 98% of kids today never learn how and so can't fathom American cars being great handlers.

im looking at a automatic 75 camaro with a aluminum 350 engine has bolt on roll cage needs some body work not everything lines up has been raced at a speedway decent shape but could be loaded with bondo for $4000 is it worth that orice? could be burning oil too?
@Girsbestfriend It's hard to compare 2 modded cars with both the same budget limits so i'm not even going to get into the argument.. HOWEVER, I doubt the import would win since most are at a disadvantage from the start. Only exceptions are the ones that come with 2 turbos from factory.
