I used Zeiss ZF 50mm 1.4. As for light loss, RR2 looses more light, but if you're shooting outside you won't have any problems. But if shooting inside, always consider proper lighting.

Noah Frye he was most definitely not talking about the atomos blade. He was talking about the SG blade which was a DOF adapter so you could achieve shallow depth of field with this camera.

It's not really a matter of wich is better. It has to do with the number of frames produced in one system and the other. USA uses NTSC, wich is 24frames per second. Europe uses PAL, wich is 25frames per second.
Can you take videos with a sd? What is the best quality what can you get with this camera and a good sd card? maybe 1920x1080? 50i isn't it? thanks and sorry

Mubius Ford The lcd on the canon xha1 is very small and you can't really make any image judgement on it. But I'm guessing you're not using any preset so the image is probably flat looking. With 8bit cameras that record to highly compressed formats, you have to try to nail some of the look in camera. Try looking around for a set of presets to upload to your camera.

Some of your pans are too fast and you have motion judder which really can give a person a headache. Sharp fast pans are a no-no expecially without having a central subject to focus on. If you want to pan then you need to have an object that is moving IN the shot at the same rate for people ot focus on. If you don't then you hace massive judder.

the "s" is an updated version of the a1. buttons are arranged a little different and especially in Europe you can switch to 24f aswell.
