- This is a ranking that takes the strongest attack from each of the 27 fights and ranks them from weakest to strongest. This is not exactly a top 27 strongest punches list, but rather a top 27 strongest possible attack from each character, whether that be just a single, powerful punch, or a combo of attacks. For attacks that knockdown Little Mac at full health, they are ranked based on 1. How many punches in the combo it takes to knock Little Mac down, and 2. How much damage is dealt by the blow directly before the one that takes Mac down entirely.

I love how Von Kaiser's theoretically got this instakill special attack, but he's still in the Minor Circuit because no one got hit by it ever.
To be fair he doesn't get it until Title Defense, so he may have learnt it later on.

I like to imagine that his average power back in his days. After losing to Mac he was able to unleash it one final time
Not sure why Nintendo made Kaiser’s Attack punch as strong as Bald Bull’s Rush and Macho’s Super Macho Spin attack. He deserves to be in the World Circuit for it.

Not sure if you're aware already, but TD Sandman DOES have an instakill! The very last wink uppercut in his phase 3 before he's exhausted will ALWAYS down the player, making 1st place a 5-way tie!

Maybe a better way to show off the damage when it gets to one shot range is with the headgear? Would help survivability so you know for sure when you get insta killed
The 4 way tie of VD, both Bull 1& 2, and SMM knock you out at full health regardless. From 12-5, yes their moves will take you out from full health--IF you let them hit every hit. Even after the first hit, you can still dodge the rest (or block for Honda)

I feel they gave td Von Kaiser a 1 hit KO to teach you the real upgrade everyone is gonna have in Title Defense. After Glass Joe was only a minor improvement from his Contender fight, being knocked down in one hit by Kaiser is sure to give the player a heavy wake up call.
Funny how Sandman is the best boxer here but he has no instant kill.
He does have a OHKD attack
During his berserk mode, the last uppercut he throws will instantly knock you down

@@Galactica62 advice. Just dodge then jab and then punch his stomach until stun ends (when he does the ear clap you might wanna punch his stomach twice)
I would like to point out the lack of sheer damage output of Aran Ryan's first battle, as not only his strongest attack is weaker than King Hippo and Hondo Rush, which are meant to be easier fights, but this guy has horseshoe in his gloves, but the headbutt of all things is his strongest attack? 🤔
Aran hits you alot whereas hondo and hippo do more damage with a singular attack
Ryan was originally like this in in Super Punch Out. Well, more or less. He would hit really fast until you go down

Von kaiser in his prime was probably in the world circuit with doc lois,hes way out of his prime.

For having an insta kill move von Kaiser should be champion of the minor circuit or at least above disco kid
Von Kaiser being in the minor circuit really shouldn’t be a thing, at lowest he should be at top major circuit, personally I think he should be in the major circuit above soda
he does a delay to warn the player of his ohko. also, it’s just teaching you for other ohkos in title defense.

his attack are too telegraphed to be major circuit, granted even Sandman has some very telegraphed attack, but Von Kaiser has only telegraphed attacks
Really i would put Von kaiser above Disco, and i would knock Ryan in major circuit, putting Great Tiger as the king of Major and flamenco the first at world circuit
He is too old, Maybe if we play as Doc Louis in his prime Von kaiser is either in world circuit or the major circuit champion

You can probably go into the game files to see exactly how much damage each of them do.
I think that donkey kong's entry doesn't count, since those are individual moves, not one attack, that dk can do. He just chains these attacks nore frequently after getting knocked down the first time.

The strange thing is king hippo sucking 1/4 of your health when bear hugger does 1/2 when they have the EXACT attack
The other thing is that mr sandman needs 3 uppercuts but macho only 2 spin punch to knock you down
