Thank You For Watching!!
Let me know your thoughts on these movies!
Are you going to review the Turtles Forever animated movie, the Batman vs TMNT, and Rise of the TMNT movie? Cuz I would like to hear your thoughts on those three
@Gamer97704Oh yeah, that too
TMNT 2014 was more like April O'Neil with a little bit of turtles.
the designs of turtles were bad.
I went to the movies to watch it and had to walk out before the end of it because I didn't like how it was called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and had more April O'Neil (Megan Fox).
I liked these movies I loved that they finally included bebop and rocksteady that was made me live this Version of them more. I was hoping for a third one but all well. I can’t wait to see mutant mayhem hope it’s a blast.
TMNT 2007 is very underrated! Love the connection to the original trilogy, and well drawn action sequences...I would've loved more relevant villains but still made sense in regard to what they aimed to succeed in 👏
The TMNT movie was the first movie that got me into the turtles and I started watching the older ones after wards. This was the movie that got me into the TMNT franchise.
Tmnt2007 is one of my favorites
Yes for me as well
I grew up on that movie
@@doctorspindash2.086 same that's why it's my favorite
@@dylanpajuelo8352 mines too. TMNT 2007 was my personal favorite of the Ninja Turtle movies, not that I say I hate the 90s one *(I love the 90s version too)*
I just now realize that master Splinter gave each of the turtles their weapons for a reason he gave Michelangelo nun chucks to keep his focus, he gave Raphael, the aggressive one, defense weapons only, he gave Donatello, the smart one, a stick, and Leonardo, the disciplined one, weapons that can really hurt someone.
Also bc Michelangelo mastered every other weapon
@@rythma7984 wdym?
@@totes1378in the last ronin
Yeah lmao, this theory has been around for years already, 😂
@@Therealflash69 yeah but I'm kinda dumb
With the faults that the Michael Bay TMNT movies had, the visuals and action sequences are still the best things that came out of those movies. IMO, the mountain chase is the best action piece in the 2014 film, and the elevator scene with the brothers making music with their weapons fit the vibes of teenagers
admitting the elevator scene was awesome and I loved it was reffed in the 2012 series!
Michael bay definitely knows how to make an action scene
Very much agree. Those two scenes were my favorite as well
I don't know why but 2014 turtle movies feels more like meme version of G-force
@@LowellLucasJr.yes and Raph punches him which is perfect
Because of the nostalgia and having grown up with it, I’m quite fond of the 2007 version. It was probably the first Turtles thing I watched. It might not be as good as the first Turtles movie, but it’s the one I go back to the most personally 👍
Nice to have a 3c video uploaded before I have to go to back to school tomorrow
I like the tmnt movie as well
I love the 2007 animated tmnt and mako was wonderful as splinter!
I really want to if there was 3rd movie i would watch that just be like this better be the last hope
I forgot the mako played splinter in this movie
Personally the TMNT 2007 movie is one of my favorites adaptations for the turtles
Yeah!! I’m surprised it’s his least!! Like I get that there was no sequel but sadly it didn’t do good in the box office. I was hoping to see more of that version of the turtles, Karai, April & Casey
I love the 2007 tmnt movie and chris evans is funny and heroic as casey jones!
Same I loved the Raph vs Leo fight scene
@@littlesparrow303 TMNT did pretty damn well in the box office for the studio’s first movie, though it failed critically. It was the studio’s second movie, Astro Boy, that completely bombed and made them go bankrupt, which resulted in them cancelling all future projects, of which included a sequel to the 2007 movie.

I will admit that the Micheal Bay movies were my first introduction to the turtles and honestly those movies were just so fun. Especially out of shadows, that movie was actually so awesome.
I did rewatch them this summer and honestly these movies didn’t get enough love when they came out. I mainly have a nostalgia for the 2010s which these movie totally feel from that era; crazy to think that TMNT 2014 is approaching 10 years.
@@jesussalazar1901yeah that’s blowing my mind
That elevator scene in TMNT 2014 was awesome.
2007 is so heartbreaking. The art style even to this day is my absolute favorite for the turtles to this day. The fight scenes are cool and the concept of the turtles fighting each other for real is a great idea. The issue is the writing. Leo leaving and not wanting to be a vigilante makes zero sense. The villians are so lame, and the foot are so cool in this movie that it's criminal they weren't the main villian. It's just heartbreaking because this could have been so cool
Naaaah the villains in this one was badass and easily scary, when they first showed up and kidnapped one of the turtles it was so menacing and ruthless.
Agreed
It was a good setup movie especially with what they had planned for the sequels. It’s a shame we’ll never see those other two movies.
Agreed 👍
@@acceptable1609 First I'm hearing about those plans and I must say, it's a damn shame because they sound really really good.
I actually really enjoyed the 2007 animated film it’s up there with the originals for me I find it really fun
Personally i love the 2007 movie the story and ideas are great especially with Raphael and Leonardo that fight was amazing my biggest complaint is the villain I completely forgot who the villain was but aside from that it was great the Michael bay ones were fine
Something I loved about Mutant Mayhem was that it did a great job with the character of Leonardo. I feel like in turtle media (particularly the movies) Leonardo is the turtle that most frequently gets shafted. To be fair, most of the movies do this thing where they make one turtle more of the main character than the others. Like, in the 1990 film, it was Raphael. In Secret of the Ooze, it was Donatello. Turtles III, Michelangelo got a lot of focus. Then the 2007 film did a good job with Leo and Raph, but Donnie and Mikey were reduced to part of the supporting cast. Then 2014 focused on April more than the turtles (one of the main reasons why it’s my least favorite Ninja Turtle movie). The one film that felt like each character got an even amount of focus before MM was Out of the Shadows, but that movie wasn’t the best. Mutant Mayhem does great with all the turtles, but I wanted to highlight how great Leonardo was in it.
I loved the 2007 TMNT movie!
Not because of the turtles, but because of the animation.
TMNT 2007 is one of all time favorite animated movies and by FAR my favorite ninja turtles movie! When RAF and Leo fight… hits me right in the feels 🥲
I loved TMNT as a kid, and after rewatching the movie again recently, I only now noticed that Raph was voiced by my favorite voice actor Nolan North, which made me love the movie even more.
The fight between Leonardo and Raphael on the rooftop will always be top tier imo
Dang cris got the shredder drip 🥶
I am a bit surprised you weren't a bit more fond of the 2007 TMNT. I always appreciated that they got actual professional voice actors to voice the turtles and not just random celebrities and while the plot gets a bit overstuffed and perhaps a bit bloated I still I appreciate a lot of things in the movie and especially love that it often harkens back to the original gritty tone of the original Mirage TMNT comics. As for the Michael Bay movies, I have no respect for them and will never watch them again. Those movise were utter garbage and an awful representation of the Ninja Turtles.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I grew up with watching the bayverse of the TMNT FILMS 🎥 and I gotta say that those 2 movies still to this day my favorite TMNT MOVIES 🍿 😊
I still stand by TMNT 2007 with how they handled the relationships with the family dynamics and the action scenes
I love that 2007 TMNT movie! The Michael Bay ones I can do without, though..
I loved Nightwatcher when I first saw the TMNT movie.
These 3 movies are my childhood, I remember loving these movies as a kid and just being obsessed
I really hope that with the next live-action iteration we can get a mix of both practical effects and CGI (to enhance the faces, etc). I also hope they stick with more traditional designs of the characters. Could you imagine a future where we get both live-action and animated Turtles films? Now that would be glorious
Imagine a movie about The Last Ronin. On top of the comic and game that’s in development, a movie would be sick as hell
@JoeFanik Yeah I totally agree
They at least have to be better than 2019's Cats adaptation.
Don’t remind me. Never watched it but the trailers scared me.
@@bryanramirez2626 I tried to watch it, and it was so terrible I wasn't able to watch it all the way through.
TMNT wasn’t so different for fans who had been watching the 2003 series at the time. The supernatural elements and Casey’s look were reminiscent of the style of the current TMNT series during the 2000s. Grew up with the 90’s film series, but also grew up with the 2003 series, so I could see the balance between the two
One thing I really like about 2007 TMNT is how they got professional voice actors as the lead role’s instead of random celebrities which for theatrical animated movies is very rare
Chris being a part of the tmnt fandom is all I could have ever wished for
I love being a tmnt fan because the heroes in the half-shell were part of my childhood!
Tmnt’s sequel would have been the last ronnin with shredder
I really think 2007 is underrated I know its flawed but it has good moments
I remember growing up with the first three turtle movies and the classic cartoons. I do enjoy the three new turtle movies, but I'm excited to see mutant mayhem.
The 2007 tmnt movie was my favorite tmnt movie so far now let's see what tmnt mutant mayhem does
Tmnt 07 goes incredibly hard
It was trippy seeing Chris Evans in an animated movie before Lightyear
You should do a “what I watched this month”. Now that there are strikes and not a lot of stuff is going on.
Chris, Pee Wee Herman, Paul Reubens, passed away at age 70 following a 6 year battle with cancer.
You never take an L, all of these are my least favorite as well
I died when Chris said” it doesn’t matter if your lego Batman “ 😂😂😂 . Also Chris if you see this I know your a movie reviewer but can you please review all the ninja turtles shows I want to know your opinion on all of them
The game from the 2007 TMNT was excellent!! I remember playing that game over and over again. They really need to bring out a new game that plays very similar to that one. At that time, it honestly felt like that game was to TMNT, like the Arkham games are to Batman 😆
I know they released one years later but it didn't hit as hard as that 2007 TMNT Movie version. It was way ahead of it's time, back then.
For anyone who hasn't seen it or forgotten it, here's a trip down memory lane 👇👇

Whenever I mention the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I always call them TMNT bc of that movie. It's a very hard watch now to get through, but I still have a soft spot for it
Donnie finally having a metal bo staff was something I realized would make sense for the character.
I liked the part where 3C Films said, “It’s shreddin time”
Nice vid Chris I always have had a soft spot for the 2 Michael bay movie their my guilty pleasure movies I know that they are not perfect but this in the 2012 show was my first introduction to the turtles and I didn’t care as much about them, changing their backstory, not seeing the original I know they have a lot of problems but I still love these films.
I'm a big fan of the 2007 TMNT movie. My only problem with it is that it makes no sense that Leo would be sent off ALONE to become a better LEADER. And it makes no sense that Splinter apparently didn't tell the other turtles that he told Leo to go away. It's just a way to get drama between the brothers, which seems unnecessary.
I don’t think the Micheal Bay movies wernt that bad they could have been better. I did get to see mutant mayhem and that is 10 times better highly recommend.
The 2007 movie may technically be a continuation of the live action films, but it takes a lot of its elements and tone from the 2003 series. I think it was really made for the kids who grew up watching that show.
I have nostalgia for the 2014 movie cause of how much I loved the 2012 show and the day I saw the movie it was with my dad, uncle and my cousin + his friend is a memory I will never forget.
3C has the funnest review on all of TH-cam 😂
TMNT 2007 was my movie growing up, I have so many memories watching that movie as kid
For real, this I one of your best. It's Hella easy to go for the lowest common denominator, but it's truly refreshing to have someone go back to things/films that they didn't like on the first past, and talk on them with the full perspective of not only hindsight, but throuh the refreshed gaze of time, personal growth, maturity. This is what I needed. Think I'll actually do a rewatch of these films cause of this video, to find the gems, spark, and movie magic in all of this.
Blessings to you, bruv

IV’E BEEN WAITING FOR 3 DAYS!!! LET’S GOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Rip the actor who voiced splinter in the 2007 tmnt movie, this was his last movie
I don’t care what people say, I still love the Michael Bay turtles, I always love rewatching those movies when I was a kid.
Exactly!!!!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (TMNT 3) is often regarded as a beloved classic and holds a special place in the hearts of many fans. This movie stands out as the greatest for several reasons, which I'll explore in this essay.
Firstly, TMNT 3 excels in its ability to balance action, humor, and heart. The film takes the beloved characters of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael and places them in a thrilling historical setting. By transporting the turtles back to feudal Japan, the movie adds a unique twist to the well-known storyline, keeping the audience engaged throughout.
Secondly, the film showcases the turtles' growth and maturity. TMNT 3 delves into their personal development, allowing each character to face challenges and grow as individuals. The audience witnesses the turtles not only as formidable fighters but also as multidimensional personalities, making them more relatable and endearing.
Furthermore, the movie introduces new allies and adversaries, expanding the TMNT universe. The addition of characters like April O'Neil's ancestor, Kenshin, and the honorable Lord Norinaga adds depth to the storyline and offers exciting interactions between the turtles and their new counterparts.
Moreover, TMNT 3 teaches valuable life lessons, making it not just an entertaining spectacle but also an educational experience. Themes of loyalty, honor, and teamwork are prevalent throughout the movie, emphasizing the importance of working together and staying true to oneself.
Another reason that sets TMNT 3 apart is its stunning action sequences and impressive special effects. The fight choreography and the turtles' signature martial arts skills create visually captivating scenes that are still appreciated by audiences of all ages.
Additionally, the movie's soundtrack complements the action perfectly, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The use of music sets the tone for each scene and heightens the emotional impact, making it a memorable aspect of the film.
Lastly, TMNT 3 stands as a testament to the enduring popularity and cultural significance of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. It has withstood the test of time and continues to be cherished by fans worldwide, maintaining its position as an iconic film in the realm of cinema.
In conclusion, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III holds its place as the greatest movie ever due to its engaging storyline, well-developed characters, valuable life lessons, impressive action sequences, captivating soundtrack, and its enduring cultural impact. The film's ability to entertain and inspire multiple generations cements its status as a timeless classic and a favorite among fans of all ages.

I always thought the 2007 turtles movie was part of the original trilogy since a I got a blu-ray with all three movies in it and it also had the 2007 film
Alien liquid being used on the turtles is actually something from the original comics, the tcri ooze that spilled on them was jet fuel for an utrom ship
So excited to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem soon! TMNT 2007 is pretty underrated! 👍
The 2007 film has been my favorite TMNT film for years and years but maybe Mutant Mayhem will change that.
RIP, Angus Cloud, Fezco from Euphoria, passed away today at 25 from a possible overdose.
I was about to go to sleep, but when Cris posts, all plans change
Hi Chris ! I will admit, not only do I like your shredder outfit but I found the Michael bay turtle movie’s enjoyable especially the first one but out of the shadows was a severe let down 😅 but the 2007 tmnt movie was pretty decent but I thought the villain was unique at least
Agree
I actually like Out of the Shadows
@@lexramstudios1386 I had some enjoyment with that movie , mainly due to bebop and rocksteady, krang, and stockman but other than that , just felt stale to me.
Imo the Michael Bay turtles were rly Gud movies even tho it overdid the slomo at times
I was watching TMNT 2007 and then Chris uploads this video. Perfect timing indeed
Great video! I love hearing your more in depth reviews
Being the turtles can technically live a couple hundred years, they're probably still technically teenagers in tmnt
2007 tmnt was my bread and butter as a kid
I just finished all of them
Watching from South Africa 🎉 Love it when you deliver content like this 😊
The 2007 one is my favorite. The design of the turtles, the voice, the music, and the animation are amazing. I even love they gave the Turtle a professional VA like James Arnold Taylor (Obi Wan), Nolan North (Nathan Drake). And whenever i hear Black Betty,i think of Raphael Vs. Jersey Devil.
I’d honestly say the 2014 ninja turtle was a top 3 turtle film we don’t talk about the sequel tho
cris shredder is all i need in my life.
Awesome video 3c films
I absolutely love your videos, Chris! But there’s one TMNT movie that I personally grew up with which was Turtles Forever, it was like a crossover film with the animated turtles! I’m not sure how well it holds up but I’d love to see a video on it, and your thoughts!
26:07 there was a lot of anger in that I couldn’t
Fresh out the oven 35 seconds never clicked so fast in my life
Next live action tmnt movie has to have Chris as shredded it would be the best decision Hollywood ever made
April naming the Turtles before their mutation came from the IDW comics.
9:30 I remember seeing a fan comic about this concept, it had a surprisingly good story
i have my complaints about the 2007 movie for sure, but one thing i'll say for it: it had some BRILLIANT casting. Sarah Michelle Gellar as April, Chris Evans as Casey, and of course the late Mako as Master Splinter.
Perfect beginning draws folks in within seconds
TMNT 2007 definitely was mine. Underrated
I grew up watching 2014 Ninja Turtles and they will always be my favorite ninja turtles. 🥷🐢
The problem with the Michael Bay way was the turtles didn't look like teenagers they looked some buff turtles on steroids
2007 TMNT is my favorite film while the 2003 is my favorite show adaptation.
I’m so happy you bought that costume I was gonna get it on Amazon and wanted to see what it looked like in real life😂
Out of the Shadows will always be my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie
This video can actually make feel bad for Alan Ritchson. Those Michael bay films sadly made him hate life more due to the production team not giving the proper respect to the actors that played the turtles.
such a great movietuber bro. I remember when I started watching you from the chucky show release news just waitinggggg for it to come out, u da best
Will Arnet was a traditional TMNT character. He plays Vernon.
Nice to have a 3c video uploaded before I have to go back to school cowabunga
I'm so excited to see mutant mayhem
i grew up with the 2014&16 films so i never noticed it faults
FINALLY TMNT (2007) GETS REPUTATION and the game was so good console and ds
That shredder costume is too dope
I love tmnt 2007, not as much as the original and secret of the ooze but still love, I hated bays 2014 film but out of the shadows was ok to me
Very excited for the new turtles, just got advance screenings for tomorrow super excited😁😁
I remember watching trailers on itunes in 2007 and losing my shit when I saw the preview trailer for TMNT where they're just hopping rooftops in the shadows.
TMNT 2007 is the absolute best TMNT media I have ever witnessed. I owned the movie when I was like 7-8 years old, then I got the Wii game when that came out. Incredible movie, the best turtle design, and like 70% of my childhood.
The Bay movie was ok
hi Chris love your work for me I grow up with the 2007 tmnt movie and the 2012 cartoon and I love all the movies and show but the tmnt 3 and next mutation( ps keep up the good work)
I’m fortunate to have been born at the perfect time to have nostalgia for all but the newest Ninja Turtles movies and shows. Being born in 2000 I grew up watching the 2003 animated show and from there I watched the 90’s movies and in 2007 I was 7 and saw TMNT. Five years later the 2012 show came out and shortly after that the 2014 movie.
