💨💨He came to St Jude Hospital in Memphis TN last year and visited all of the children from floor to floor. Even when two of the children came out of surgery he waited for them. The children were calling him Mr Black Panther, Mr Wakanda and Mr T’ Challa. What a nice guy to take the time

He saw himself in these kids and their anticipation of the movie, as he describes, but we now know he also saw himself in them in that he knew their fate was his as well. When I first heard the news of his passing I punched my desk and shouted "Not him man!!" I was so angry and annoyed because he wasn't Hollywood, he was talented, humble, private, kind, caring and wise beyond his years, he had the brightest future ahead of him, he was one man that deserved all the blessings coming his way and for his life to be cut short by such an awful disease just broke me...
Today I cried for him, it's been a long time too since I cried for anyone or anything....but this hurt man, we lost a good one 😞
I know this may not help....but I found comfort in knowing he wasn't in pain anymore. It is AWFUL that they couldn't cure it or that they discovered it too late...we will never know....but all I know is is that man is resting with the Lord. No longer in pain. No longer having to hide his suffering. Endless bliss. And He, of ANYBODY, deserves that even more 🙂
His life should serve as an inspiration to us, and just because he has passed doesn't mean the good that he did or was about to do has to seize....this is where WE complete the task. We give back and we change others lives. We, too don't know when our time is coming but we must be sure to leave a mark while we're still here 🙂

I've not seen this interview before but knowing how much pain he's hiding, holding back inside while honouring children who were suffering with a similar condition... That's what selflessness and humility looks like in real human beings. Truly inspiring!
Chadwick Boseman was not just an actor. He was a hero who fought through the devastation of cancer to produce a flawless performance. However the beauty of this man's story is that it wasnt just a performance. He fought for a cause greater than his own. "Yibambe" means "Hold Strong" in Xhosa and the Black Panther did just that. He suffered in silence so that through him others could one day be heard. In my opinion, that is his greatest feat. Thank you Sir. Your legacy will not be forgotten.

This made me cry. When be talked about talking to the cancer patients while he was making the movie. . . And he had cancer. This man had fulfillment and purpose that many healthy people lack. Men walking dead at the age 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80. This man chooses to dedicate sharing happiness with others. He is a true hero. His character is better than the fictional movie. A true man of leadership and courage. A role model all men should also aspire too.

This pulled on my heartstrings. Looking back, now I understand why he went emotional, because he was relating to the battle those kids fought which was a battle most never knew he was fighting himself. Thank you for being a legend, Mr. Boseman. People, especially the kids, will love you for your work and the hero you have brought to life on the big screen.
You want a definition of hero? here it is. Who knows what this man was going through. Maybe for a brief second he thought about it, he thought about everybody around him not knowing the hell he was going through, the pain, the hospitals ins and outs, the weakness, the high expectations of everybody on him and yes...the kids. This man had so much on himself and he made it through after all. There's not doubt God was with him every step of the way. I'm still shock with this. I'm still processing...RIP King!

Chadwick's passing and popularity has nothing to do with his race, he was just a great person. Raul julia was also a great person but the way you're using his name to undermine another persons passing is terrible and im pretty sure Raul julia would say the same thing if he was here. Chadwick boseman was part of a movie which had a box office of 1 billion usd and he died in a time where social media is popular which helps in spreading news fast. Raul julia died back in 1994, the only way people would know he died is by TV and newspapers and even then im pretty sure a lot of people mourned his passing. Its crazy to me that people would actually hate on a guy who passed away due to cancer whilst he was also helping out kids who were also facing cancer.

I remember watching this in 2018 and thinking “what pain he must have felt to see those two kids pass away before they got to see the movie”. Now, understanding how much in common he had with those babies.. this hits so much harder.

Sherry what you said is so true. For me, it's another constant reminder to do as Christ instructs. Do your best to try to be kind to people because you never know what they may be going through on the inside, even folks that seem to have life all together on the outside. We just never know.

We are still taking this life for granted. We see all these celebrities and feel they don't have demons and battles to fight just like us. Some may be worst than others. Not really, this is the beginning of something very big. This movie alone causes the entire black community going towards an uplifting storm apparantly.
HAZZARD as someone of color, I believe this movie gives all of us hope. There’s finally a movie with an all black cast, paying homage and respect to the culture. Finally, a black character who is NOT a maid, token black friend, or slave. It’s so refreshing! I am not black but seeing this kind of change makes me happy bc we finally get to see all skin colors in their respectable roles
