- While everyone else chose to go somewhere warm this winter, we decided we would go somewhere even colder - Yukon, Canada. During our trip, we went snowshoeing, saw the Aurora Borealis, and went dog sledding over a frozen river among other fun winter activities. I grew up there. If you are serious about visiting it go in the Summer. It's so much nicer and warmer than in the Winter. Plus you can do so many things

Which travel companies did you use for each element or same company as the dog sledding for all of it - we are deciding at the moment CANT WAIT
We went with Up North Adventures for snowshoeing, Muktuk for dog sledding, Northern Tales for the northern lights, and Who What Where to get to the wildlife preserve and hot springs! And our clothing rentals was from Men's World. 😊
