Thank you for this video, Architect. I have watched tons of tutorial videos on how to read a scale, but this is the only tutorial video that I understood the most. Now, I can make esquisse/s without having any anxiety.
No, it measures in meters but at different scales. A scale of 1:100 would basically be measured in real centimeters because it's a 100nth of a meter is a centimeter
There are 2 options. #1. Use 1:600 (if available on scale) Then remove zero in 600 become 60. Example: 10meters in (600) will become 1meter in (60) #2. Use 1:300 then remove one zero you will get (30) then 30x2 become 60. Example: 10meters in (300) will become 1meter in (30) then 1meter x2 you will get 2 meters (scale 1:60)

1:50 means 50 times smaller
4 meters to the scale 1:50 4:50x1000= 80mm=8 cm on the rulers so 8cm=4 meters in real world
Thank you po Sir sa infos. Very helpful!

@leopurdy8142 use the scale 1:300 then divided by 2 it will get 1:150.
Example: 5 meters in 1:300 will be 2.5meters in 1:150.
