I'm so very grateful to you . I had a planning application returned to me by my local council because i did not draw my proposed catering unit to the correct scale . I've never been the brightest mind in any room as i find it difficult to get my head around such things as scales etc . Then i found your video , something was making sense so i watched it three times and realised how i could finally use a scale ruler , thanks to your video i can now send in my accurate , scale drawings . I really am very grateful that you explained the topic so clearly even i managed to work it out . Thanks again .

I need to draw a line with a 1:50 scale ruler, I need to know how much do I round up or down for instance if I have 8462mm do I stop the line at 8450mm. How do you get the 12mm on this scale. increments go 50,100,150,200... 609 for example would I just round down to 600?
    Any help much appreciated

Thanks Shavindra. I hope it helped. Scale is something that can take a while to understand.

nice video.. if the actual length is 39ft, what would it be on a 1/4 scale when drawing?
