There is two pin ports on back of the lock lever. One we attach front panel, what is other pin port? As i dont see any details about that?
I'm not sure what the other pin port is for, but only the red colored port is needed to supply power and to install correctly.
Question, when you unlock it with the key do you still get notified on the app?
Hey Rick, I removed this lock and reinstalled my S330 3-in-1 Video Smart Lock so I'm not sure if it shows if it was unlocked by key. However if you contact eufy chat support, they will definitely know the answer and they're fairly quick and finding it out too. Question is there a way to override or erase the current setup by taking out the battery for a period of time
Hey Michelle, I think you would have to press the reset button or add it to the eufy app again because it should have on-board memory.

If i close the door, can the eufy close itself without my fingerprint or the app?

@@DemCrumblies thanks for your reply, actually i am about to order the eufy c220 and it is ip 53 and i am wondering if it can resist the rain because i will install it outside the house.
@@abdulazizaljomah A bit hard to say because where mine was installed, it was protected by my entry way. You could always buy a doorbell cover from a 3rd party company to limit direct exposure to rain if the area you're in gets lots of rainfall.

Hey @stellar-pk1iy, yep you can set a 4 digit pin instead of 6 if you like. After using many of these smart locks, if your budget allows it, I highly recommend getting a model with the fingerprint sensor, it is sooo much more convenient and I can't live without it now. did any of you get their eufy lock burned upon installation? I did, and the batteries bled and burned my hand when I realized there was a little smoke coming out of the batteries compartment.... Amazon refunded me and I had to get a new lock... 😞
Hey sorry to hear about your experience, I didn't experience this issue with this lock or the other two eufy locks I installed. Sounds like the battery was defective perhaps. Hope your hand healed well. Did you end up getting the same replacement lock, or a different lock altogether?
Well I didn’t get a replacement or anything, so I ended up getting a refund, I suspect the AA batteries that came with it made contact with one of the screws and after closing the batteries compartment it made some weird contact and that caused all 4 batteries to drain and almost start a fire (in serious, it almost caught my door on fire). I reported this to Amazon and they refunded my money back to my credit card, hand is ok but I got a blister the size of a nickel )
@@sebastianfarias5670 Understood. Well if you're still on the hunt, I can easily recommend either the eufy 3-in-1 video door lock or the Eufy E330 Video Smart Lock, which both use a rechargeable 10,000 mAh battery. Let me know if you're interested and I can share the review links.
