Barn doors from reclaimed pallet wood

Fun project. We use the pallet wood that our knotty pine boards came on to built 2 - 27.5" x 84" tall barn-doors. The knotty pine pallet was 20ft long so we have just enough wood for the entire project. We're not sure what wood it actually is but it is a fir or some kind.
Easy project, using biscuits to join the boards together and simple end pieces for more support and to make the top and bottom of the doors 1.5" thick.
We found hardware fro the doors for a whopping $150 with handles and off we went. Hardware was quite nice and simply to install.
We stained the wood a golden oak and put 3 coats of polyurethane (semi-gloss) for protection.
The house is coming along very nicely and out big 'holdup' is the outside paneling. Weather and scheduling are interfering in it's completion but it's coming along. We will have video of that soon...which will come in chapters so that we can show some progress at least.
