The good thing about Buddhism is that the Buddha isn’t a god to be worshiped but a teacher; a friend who is here to guide us to Nirvana.

My take: Religion is manmade and asks you to seek outwardly for truth in an outside entity, person, orgnaization, book, etc. Spirituality is the understanding that the truth is within us, and that once we learn our truth, we can be authentic and KNOW that higher power from within without the need for external validation through those entities, organizations, books, etc.
but almost all spiritual “realizations” follow the form of some text. their origin being eastern mysticism, hinduism, buddhism, etc. new age spirituality is more pantheistic, drawing from multitudes of ancient religions, druidic shamanism, native american traditions, in addition to the eastern influence that preceded it. and beyond that, things like crystals, numerology, etc all color the average new age spiritual outlook. in this way, people look within, and only find and confirm what they were told was in there by other people. this functions the same way prayer would for a religious person, they really believe they are talking to god, just as a spiritual person really believes they have god inside them. spirituality is a part of religion, but it would be a stretch to call spirituality itself a religion. certainly some spiritual sects with leaders, a hierarchy, etc, could be considered religions, but, in its totality, the new age spiritual movement isn’t a religion per se, but it fills the void for meaning that traditional religions left behind when they lost popularity in the west over the last century. people like to think it’s more grounded, but it’s the same desire to simplify existence into an easily understood pattern, believe in the magic of existence beyond this realm, and have some kind of access to eternal life or divinity, god complex, righteousness, etc.

Islam emphasizes tadabbur meaing think and reflect or contemplation. Yoga, meditation, etc are all practices to attain spirituality. But islam beliefs in contemplation spirituality not the meditation spirituality. I think when you meditate you just sit closing your eyes, removing negative thoughts out of your mind, focusing in your breath, feeling the inner peace but where is the spirituality? According to islam think about different things use your brain, research, learn about human history and reflect upon that which in my opinion is a way to becoming spiritual

Not really, from what I see, science is the "objective" pursuit in perfection, spirituality is the "subjective" pursuit. And religion is the institutionalized version of spirituality, with rules and regulations.
Islam emphasizes tadabbur meaing think and reflect or contemplation. Yoga, meditation, etc are all practices to attain spirituality. But islam beliefs in contemplation spirituality not the meditation spirituality. I think when you meditate you just sit closing your eyes, removing negative thoughts out of your mind, focusing in your breath, feeling the inner peace but where is the spirituality? According to islam think about different things use your brain, research, learn about human history and reflect upon that which in my opinion is a way to becoming spiritual

If you break the rules in my religion, you do not go to hell if you truly repent. My religion is more of a relationship, not just acknowledging God exists but also wanting him. I have searched far and wide and I finally found THE TRUE religion, Christianity. It has no contradictions. I'd be willing to debate that in a friendly, logical fashion right here and now.
Every Religion is made up on blood and bones ....and Christianity is no different... If you disagree...look at the Crusades....if you still disagree, I think your mind is already made up, and is biased towards a following religion....
