PAINTING A TEA CUP IN OIL
In this video, Nettie Kaye shows how to paint a teal tea cup and saucer with gold rims.Starting out very loosely, a few minutes later, amazingly, the cup comes together in a lovely way. This cup is added to the "Oranges and Silver" painting
in a previous lesson.

I love your soft style. What gold did you use?

Thank you Krista, If I recall, this one was a combination of raw sienna, yellow ochre, and violet. I don't believe I used a metallic paint at all. I will have to go back and watch the video again! I am planning to do a few new lessons on the effect of metals very soon. Stay tuned! Nettie Kaye
