love from canada.i miss coventry, and Lemington spa very much.old days was so nice 1961 till 70 i moved to canada.i visited this year in July.my all favourite pubs are gone.
Those fountains are not beautiful. If you want to see beautifiul fountains, go to Salzburg in Austria. The ones in Coventry are all positioned so they interrupt the natural flow of pedestrian traffic.
I don’t like all this concrete blocking the walkways. Someday they will hopefully find an architect who will be sympathetic to Coventry’s history and regain what has been lost by irresponsible and ignorant town planners.
I’m Coventry born and bred and I have to say that it is not by any means a good idea to visit . There is nothing to see of any great interest and not many good shops anymore , in fact it has lost a great amount . The people are not happy or even friendly, it’s sad to say it but it’s a hard faced city without a grin. It used to have a character with a willingness to interact and offer something to make you want to visit but absolutely not now .

I lived there from birth to 2021, i moved to Nuneaton as my kids moved there. My heart will forever be in this lovely city though. I love it so much
I am a Coventrian in exile, born there in 1938 left to go to College in Bristol, moved to E, Yorks, then Gloucester. Coventry always in my heart!
I lived and went to college in Coventry.
Yes. Coventry …………..
Give them credit. It’s only taken 80 bloody years.
