Thank you for mentioning the litterbox location! That's one of my big concerns in looking for a van. 👍

We use a covered litterbox and have found the best litter to be Dr.Elsey's. It's a very low tracking litter. We've used Tidy Cat for years but this stuff is really the best!

@@rvadventuresbigandsmall I'll have to give it a try. I really dislike the tracking and I'm sure in the small space of a van it would be even worse.😻

Does the solar keep the AGM batteries topped off while the main switch is off? while not in use,

Here's some more information I should have included: We have 16,400 miles so far. Over a recent 500 mile trip with 90% of it highway driving we got 17.4 mpg. Thanks for watching!

We have the Swift 20A. The van itself has not had a problem. We did have the break service issue also. We lost 2 bolts out of the generator with the other two finger tight. Haven't gotten the A/C to work yet or the external propane outlet. Ours is is called "Sweet Caroline", my wife's name. Love the package for travel!

Nice review....by the way I solved the problem of feeling like you are gonna roll out of bed....I take the bath towel and roll it up and just stick it under the edge of bed about between your shoulders and hip area....also helps if your not quite level at night.

Hi, Just found your channel. Really enjoy the content. We just purchased a 2021 Ethos 20T Model. Love watching you guys work out van life in your unit. Our Ethos has the same issues of flashing odometer, yellow triangle and power mirrors do not work, Can you help me understand how you were to get those problems resolved? Thanks in advance!

On simple things they seem to be just ok. I wouldn’t trust them to do anything else.

Oh, I thought you had named her Rocinante for John Steinbeck. That was the name of his camper truck he crossed America in, for his book, “Travels with Charley.” 😊 I was considering it for my RV’s name.

I thought the same that it was named after John Steinbeck’s camper. Great book.

Rock group Rush has a song called "Cygnus X-1" mentions the Rocinante:
      On my ship, the 'Rocinante'
      Wheeling through the galaxies
Headed for the heart of Cygnus
      Headlong into mystery

Hi there! I came across your channel since being obsessed with the idea of a van rv, specifically the Jayco Swift! So thank you for your videos! I’ve been binge watching all your adventures. You 2 are inspiring! My husband and I are from Canada, looking to adventure here as well as the USA.
I have a couple questions, how often did you find you had to empty your black & grey water tanks? Were you able to stop the rattling on the sliding door?
Look forward to seeing some more of your adventures!

Glad you enjoy our videos! We just did a trip to Door County, Wisconsin. Over 6 Days we dumped twice. We used our facilities almost all the time except Judy took showers at the campground. I took 1 full shower in the Van. We could have stretched it out but since the dump facilities were right at the campground we didn't try to conserve. One tricky thing is that when dumping if the Van doesn't tilt towards the sewer connection or it's not level it does't drain all the way.
The rattle has gotten better but I still need to fix it!

I suggest to try the Travato 59GL better quality than the Jayco Swift

And let's not forget, Rocinante is also...
~ John Steinbecks camper truck name in "Travels With Charley"
~ the name of the starship in the song "Cygnus X-1", by Rush
"...al fin le vino a llamar Rocinante: nombre, a su parecer, alto, sonoro y significativo de lo que había sido cuando fue rocín, antes de lo que ahora era, que era antes y primero de todos los rocines del mundo."
"...in the end he came to call him Rocinante: a name, in his opinion, lofty, sonorous and significant of what he had been when he was a nag, before what he was now, which was the first and foremost of all nags in the world."
