the story in songs you can't understand by seeing 1 mv . if you see any mv and focus on it , it will show you the real life struggles as you are seeing now but if you go with each album one by another . it is a science fiction story still on going . it is called BU ( BTS Universe ) . Jin is a character there who is a time traveler and trying to fix all mistakes .

So you know that BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof Boyscouts in English... but there's a deep meaning to their name, shared by j-hope, he said, "'Bangtan' means to be resistant to bullets, so it means to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets, to preserve the values and ideal of today's adolescents.”
with that in mind, THEY created their fan base's name now known as ARMY which means "Adorable Representative MC for Youth"

As you could see, Bts is a group of equally talented guys.
Each of them bringing something to the group, it's not just one member dragging whole group on his shoulder.
*ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth.* ARMY are meant to stand with BTS in support of the underrepresented values that they talk about in their lyrics.

hoseok -> ho (as in "hold") soak
seokjin -> soak jin (as in gin the alcohol)
jungkook -> jun (like jump but jun) goo
taehyung -> tae (as in take) and hyung is pronounced in a way that the h and y are said very fast against eachother, hard to explain but just call taehyung tae
jimin -> ji (jill) min (minute)

j-hope is simplified to hobi (hoe bee)
feel free to call namjoon joon (june) or just RM
jungkook we sometimes call as JK
I don't think we have simpler names for yoongi but i hope its enough to help you out! (and once you see more videos of bts saying eachothers names anyway it'll be easier 💜)
@@zehnpieeasy way to remember, when reading korean names, if two different vowels are written together, the first vowel is usually silent.... Seokjin & Hoseok - silent /e/ ... Taehyung - silent /a/....

Jin was taking his degree at university in Acting so he joined BigHit as an actor but they suggested he try singing and he so he did. Good job too because he has a great voice just like all the BTS members. He continued his degree as well while training with the members before their debut.
The big kpop company's is JYP, SM, and YG. Now bighit is now biggest company is now called the big 4
So in korea like example: Kim namjoon, in korea when you say your name or people's name it need to start at last/surname name like "Kim" and the given name "Namjoon". But in birthcertificate it wrote Namjoon kim. Its commonly said your surname first

BTS made { HYBE } formally known as [ BIGHIT ] the big company they are now, HYBE is now one of the biggest entertainment company's in korea. HYBE was on the verge of bankruptcy before they signed BTS.

It's well over 700 award as of 2023 and that's not even counting all the First they've achieved and all the records they've broken.
There is a video out called "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On" by Asian Theory that gives a good history about the group as a whole that you might enjoy.

Big Hit is their company the one they signed to and are still signed to they've signed a second 7year contract and just a few days ago celebrated their 10th anniversary of their debut. They worked on their skills/trained together with BigHit for about 2 years before their debut.

Jimin has danced to 2 different tracks blindfolded. Not many sighted people are able to do that it's usually only blind for birth people who can learn to dance without seeing anything.
Korean dramas have sometimes Idols (K-pop stars) playing in them . And most of the time really known and highly talented singer/songwriter/producer doing the OST's !

Their name is Bangtan Sonyeondan which in English means Bullitproof Boy Scouts BTS come for BangTan Sonyeondan so when we sometimes' say Bangtan Boys or Bangtan 7 it's a play on their name/a nick name.
I think Jungkook didn't make it through the audition because he was really shy(and only 13/14 years )
Btw, in Korea you are 1 year old when born. So, every time they say their ages , you have to remember, to substract one year to get the 'western' age !

The worst thing is now he’s became a transphobic activist which I honestly think is worse because at the very least when he was doing the plastic surgeries he’s not hurting anyone else so I felt a bit bad for him but now he’s actively being a activist too hurt trans people
@@zehnpie oli london is a troll, he is actually getting paid for doing all of this and his target was bts/jimin cuz they were the new popular thing at that time (around 2017) with the biggest fanbase tat would react to it. In fact he didn't even know a single bts song or any actual fact about them even after he did the surgery. There's many proofs everything he does is for clout. When the news of him trying to be jimin/korean became old news, he switched again to be transphobic on purpose so he could also get clout out of it bc the engagement towards him becomes less. We shouldn't take what he says seriously. He just wants people to talk about him. He'll switch up again when people will stop to entertain him.
