Awesome video! Sandusky Bay is a really scenic place to go visit. I try to watch trains there at least once a year on the Norfolk Southern mainline that goes over the bay. Have a Happy New Year!

When I lived in Ohio I’d go 3-4 times a year. Now living outside of Ohio 1-2 times a year.

Hi guys. Ive fished for walleye at Erie many times and caught a few catfish. I took them home. Cleaned and cooked them. The catfish had a not so good taste to them as compared to other locations I've been to for cats. I was just wondering have you experienced the same thing or do you just throw them back and never have tasted the cats at Erie?

      Never ate one.
Odnr doesn't recommend eating them so never tried.

You use them things for fertilizer, or feed them to the hogs, or what?

I really appreciate this video and the information provided. Do you have any recommendations on good poles with backbone and recommend reels? Are there any recommended spots around the bay for shore fishing that are easy to access for a disabled person? Thank you for any information you can provide.

Sorry took so long to see your comment.
I like a med - heavy or heavy rod
Heavy action ugly stick with Ambassador 6500 is my favorite for the big cats. The most popular spot from the bank will be the old bay bridge.
Shouldn't be a problem finding a spot there.
Thanks for your comment and good luck!
