Thanks for watching,

Never heard about "dodge and burn" before but I feel like I will use it a lot now. Thanks for the great video! And I can only agree, the new Lightroom features are really neat!
Glad you learnt something from the video!
It’s definitely a great technique to have in the toolbox!😃🙌🏼
Same here, don't need PS anymore, haha! Great tutorial my friend 😊
It’s an amazing update!
Thanks buddy!!
Make more videos like this, It's so useful for people like me who can take good photos, but can't edit like a professional like you, thank you for the videos on your channel and don't stop producing
I used D&B for portraits before and it felt like hard work do it in faces. I never thought about using it for landscapes or other pictures but it totally makes sense! Also i never got the idea to do that in LR directly. This helped a lot!
I was waiting for this🥺💖🔥
❤️❤️
Nice tips. I'm definitely going to play around more with gradients like you do, adds a lot of ambience!
Great to hear🙏🏻
It really does!
Great video Olle, I've been using the masking tool similar to this for a bit but not quite as much as you did. I really like how you essentially dodged and burned using the radial filter. I'm gonna give this a try.
Cutest fox EVER! Also thanks for the video hehe.
Thanks, it's awesome to saw minimal editing but makes the photo looks so good
After watching 100s of video about Lightroom photo editing i found this great video what I actually needed
Thank you for making this video. I always wondered how people is able to create that 3D effect.
Watching from this tutorial, I just realized that I only know 1% of lightroom functions. Such a Noob 🤣🤣🤣 thank you ollie for sharing.
Wow! Nice! 😯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great video man! Super helpful!
Just discovered your channel, your work is amazing !
Such an amazing video! Im just starting to use lightroom and this video helped me so much. Looking forward to more these kind of videos
Great video! Lightroom Classic is awesome! I rarely open PS these days.
Level expert!
Haha äsch!❤️
Inte som du!
Awesome 🎉
Very nice, i learned a lot, i must practice the things you show.
Thank youu 💗❤️
This is a great tutorial Olle! Hope one day we can do some bird photography together in Sweden 💥🦅📸
Recent subscriber here; great channel!
I am very new to photography and photo editing. However, I have been a tabletop war gamer for decades. This video describing shadows and highlights is very similar to the methods used by expert miniature painters.
Very cool.
Thanks a lot!
Oh that’s very cool!🙌🏼
Noob here... just starting to learn masking... how the heck do I SAVE the photo after the masks are applied? I go to export it and it doesn't keep the masks. I am trying to export in 100% JPEG so I can share. What am I missing? Thanks.
You can do all of this super easy on Lightroom Mobile from your phone. I use it a lot for my aviation photography, I don't even use my computer to edit photos anymore.
Thank you for all this
Always learn a lot with your videos mate. And always very easy and genuinely kind . I have the cloud version of Lightroom, need to check if those features are always available there
So glad to hear that! Thank you!🙏🏻
Great video, this has really helped me with my post process. I have used the brush for a while now, but never ventured into the linear or radial gradient until watching this.
Bra video! Tack!
Great share
Wow thanks you so much
Superbra tips! - stort tack :)
Kul, tack för att du tittade! :)
if you can create a tutorial on Darktable that would be great
when the edtting is just to the point and not overlly done
Being able to do all these things in LR Mobile is insane
Total game changer!
Tack för tipsen. Fler klipp som detta önskas. Är nybörjare som fågelskådare och lightroom användare. Så detta ska bli kul att testa
Thanks for the video. You coudlve just added vignette :)
Sometimes I wish I am friends with you in real life. So I can ask questions real time. 🤣.
very nice! but are the RAW-Files out of cam?
Thanks, yes they are!😃
@@ollenilssonen Wow nice pics!
@@ollenilssonen and u don´t use any picture profile or some?
@@robertjust4597 no, only on video! :)
Picture profiles aren’t applied on RAW-files so what the camera see is what you get out😄
concerning camera profiles, I tend to just set up basic settings that suit me, but does in camera profiles such as portrait actually matter if your putting it in lightroom to edit? I find myself a lot of times wishing i could get what i see out of the camera to make editing a bit less of a hassle. I honestly cant find any good information on these in camera settings to get what i want, other than the basic description.
The picture profiles only affects Jpegs iut of the camera. The RAW-files are what the sensor captures!
So try shoot in RAW + Jpeg and see if the jpegs are looking more like you want!😃
I don't know, that D&B with radial filters does not speak to me, I prefer method with brush and "painting" with low flow to reach desired effect. But everyone does what works best for them 😀 Overall, very good tips!
Bra tips äger inte ens en dator men hade tänkt köpa mig en vad använder du Mac eller PC? Vad ska man ha minst ha i Ram? Tänkt att köra Lightroom/ mvh Markus
So what's the best/closest mobile app for editing like this? Cost being no factor.
Lightroom Mobile imo!
I recently heard about Dodge and burn and another way is to paint some area you want to adjust and on the brush mask, use option or alt and "intersect" or "intersection" and then clic on luminance. you can now select a zone you want to adjust based on the luminance. Sorry, the explanations are not very clear...
is this lightroom classic or just lightroom?
@@mrhippo4155 It’s LR Classic🙌
@@ollenilssonen thanks for responding, love the videos keep it up
just do some brush on the moose to save time not particularly do masking =)
I mention why I do it that way just a moment later! :)
@@ollenilssonen yah ;) anyway, i always watch your work together with PL too. say my hello :) ta hand om er grabbar!!
@@ChristianSanchez-mx9ry That’s awesome!
Det ska jag hälsa! Ha en fin helg!🙏🏻
Mer av dessa tack, puss
Hahah ❤️
