Relaxing POV Nature Photography｜Frozen Forest Exploring

During the winter, the forest is a very peaceful and calming place. I took a four-hour walk exploring a beautiful frozen forest in Scandinavia with a GoPro camera mounted on my chest and captured a bunch of photos. This video is the highlights from that photo walk. I hope this video will inspire, make you focus, or be a part of a relaxing moment.
This video can be watched without sound, with your favorite music, while you're doing work or studying - or if you want to completely shut off reality for 20 minutes.

@@ollenilssonen .........I upload a video in 720p, the quality of the video is great, but it takes up less space, for example, 720p takes up 68mb or 720p takes up 96mb, how do you do it, in other TH-cam channels, 720p takes up 100mb.
The drone footage was amazing! although it gave me flashbacks to the first time I flew my drone a couple weeks back. Was a nice, cold morning, with no wind at all. At least until I fired up the drone, then a good big gust of wind tore through the mountains I was in and blew the drone backward and almost into me. That was definitely not a "relaxing POV" moment for me. After watching this, I may just dust off the drone and take it for a flight again tomorrow.

WOW! Fantastiskt fina bilder och filmer. Finns det någon gyllene regel för när man ska justera shutter och/eller iso? Som ja har fattat det för så ska man försöka hålla så låg iso som möjligt. Det är en sak om man har stativ framme och all tid i världen, men när du kör sånna här snabba, spontana bilder i skogen, eller i en stad tex. Vilket man ska ändra. Hur ska man tänka lixom?

Amazing POV video once again, really enjoy these. I'd love to know, if alright to ask, how you make a living off of wildlife photography? Do you sell them to clients and do freelance or are you part of a company that does this? Really inspiring me to get out and start photography!
unfortunatly i only have one good lense and try so hard to get wildlife photos with my 85mm 1.8, and its sooo difficult lol cant wait to save up for a decent lense, and wow that drone footage, i would love to see a video of just that going through the woods.

Ollie do you do anything special when taking your camera from a warm to cold environment and back again to prevent moisture build up inside? Oh btw I just got the Tamron 50-400 and I REALLY like it for walks like this. Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas 🎅🏻
If the camera is very cold I make sure to have it inside the camera bag for awhile when going inside! :)

I’ve used mine in -25C😊 I would however recommend place in inside the camerabag when you’re outside and take the bag in and let the temperature inside the bag slowly rise when you’re inside!😃👍🏼

your videos are great! I am currently about to start in the world of photography, but I wanted to know or give me feedback on an option that I have in mind: Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II.. I am a new beginner and the value ranges between $750.... thank you for your aid
Questions :
What shoes/boots do you prefer/use for forest walks in the snow ? Im thinking about getting some "trekking boots", but damn they´re expensive in Denmark.
What focus mode do you use when you suddently spot the birds and when you spotted the heron in the other video, and you just aim and nail focus ?
I have a7iv and sony 200-600 and strugle to realy "nail focus" most of the times. I know I need a LOT more practice, but still........

I'm using Polyver boots becuase they are very warm, and works great for walking up to 10km, more than that I think trekking boots are way better haha :D
I 99% of the time use AF-C, and mostly use Focus Area: Spot L when walking around. And trying to keep the focus points centered sa a default when walking around. But I many times forget it and end up with the focus down in the corners or something.. so I don't know if I'd recommend it😂

Ill try spot L and see how it feels. Normaly use expandable spot, but dont even know it its any better than other settings.

@@TomatenDK Make sure your camera body and lens have newest firmware installed. Some people had some focusing issues with A7IV and Sony 200-600mm after release.

Didnt know you could update the lens too. But yeah...... thats done...... I do have some very good photos (I think myself), but that is of a dog and some deers standing still.
Oh yeah - some running horses too, but thats with another lens. But thanks for the tip 👌

Photography noob here, can someone answer a question?
I thought that you shoot in aperture priority, because in almost all photos you had pretty low (1/500 for example) shutter speed and not minimal iso (320 for example)
but i saw top of the camera at one point and it is in manual.
So can someone please explain to me reason why just you don't bump up shutter speed a bit (i heard it's reasonable for it to be focusDistx2, so 1/50 for wide lens for example), and drop ISO to minimum values.
Am i overthink it or is there a reason behind not minimizing ISO by upping shutter speed when shooting not moving landscapes?

What do you think of Tamrons 70-180 ?
I sold my sony 70-200 f4 years ago and missed it. So I bought the Tamron. God I love the Tamron. You dont miss the 20 mm - and boy is it just sharp :O !
I think it's a fantastic lens for the money. I would prefer the build quality of the Sony, but again, they way more expensive so :D
