Your confidence in Mark becoming a real man is way too optimistic. You should've learned by now to never expect anything good from either of them.
"It's probably Jack Daniels". if the character of Mark is drinking it, in an English country hotel, and referring to it as whiskey, it's not gonna be American. It'll be something Scotch or Irish.
Always had him down as a Laphroaig man.
@@Michaelm-ij9pn He's pretentious, but something tells me he's still young an unworldly enough to maybe settle for a lesser single malt, or even a better quality blend like Black Bush. The guy considers "Corn Flakes" a wordly man's breakfast and takes the Funday Times for a shit 😆🙃
probably some awful blend like bells or famous grouse
This is my favourite period of the show. There's some classic comedy moments. 👌🏼
The pub they go to was in Chalfont St Giles in Buckinghamshire. It was a Costa for years but now another coffee shop; I used to drive past it everyday for years. Lots of stuff is filmed around there……
Bonus fact for any 90s kids reading this; Auntie Mabel’s house on Come Outside was a few miles from here (demolished 2022) and the laundrette she and pippin visit in the dry cleaning episode is also now and still a Costa and is in Chalfont St Peter
S4 is the best imo. I still include s5 in the golden era but these are the good times
Mummy😅
S4 is the peak.
Marks whole life is a sea of red flags.
Daniel, when you said fatherhood is ‘awesome…in a way’, as one dad to another, I find that way too relatable! Haha
The Quantocks are a range of hills in Somerset in SW England.
Push on to Moscow :) 6:50
My personal favorite episode here
Gotta say I've been looking forward to the reaction to this episode
As a Somerset lad, it offends me greatly that this wasn’t even filmed on our beautiful Quantocks but in Buckinghamshire. Spenny, if you’re down this way during your UK visit, I’ll show them!
They reminded me when lost of American Werewolf in London 😄
Lads you're the fucking best! Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
Hi de hi, can't wait to see Spencer's jaw hit the floor again as this show develops from now on, great stuff, three cheers to you two ooo thanks
The venue looks to Taplow House near Maidenhead. It does resemble another venue which is actually in the Quantock Hills. I've been to both but I have a sketchy memory.
Crack, honestly dont know how he plays a crackhead so well but he does doesn't he haah
And the nightmare begins.
Kwon-tock-ing
24:30 Jez isn’t exactly known for his intelligence, but that was genius lol
Mark finally realises that Sophie's not so great.
I think the overconfidence is some kind of self pep talk. Like self preservation.
ha ha ,, quantocks,,, nice area,,,
S4 is the peak of PS!
Try ep 1 of Banzai - I dare you
Yes, that's a very funny show that wouldn't be made or broadcasted in the 2020s due to political correctness.
Great episode
No one does awkward like Mark and Jeremy I end up shouting at the tv I be seen these 2 I know how it goes failing is the only option brilliant though how does that happen?
Brilliant 👏
Wow... you guys trying to pronoune the Quantocks is hilarious haha 🤣 😂
Now the the tame episodes are behind us now we can watch the mega cringe begin...
Marrying someone without cohabiting first is very foolish & in the Western world is unusual.
This is Mark's first ever relationship, which makes his proposal even more foolish.
Mark is so crazy that it infuriates me to a unbearable level. Expecially the whole thing with sophie she makes him miserable.
Every sitcom in the world only exists because the characters do not communicate their problems like normal humans. Mark isn't unique, it's the premise of every sitcom ever made.
@@Lones555 I find that normal humans also often do not communicate their problems like normal humans
