That's an easy things to worried about, there'se so many custom rom that passed safetynet by default, just check the description of custom rom that you want to download
I am an odd duck because I am a Google fanboy (at least currently) and I installed Lineage OS, also sideloading the (optional) Google apps. I have a Pixel 3 XL which can't go above Android 12 and security updates from 2021 using stock OS. Using Lineage 21 the Pixel 3 XL can run Android 14 and security updates from 2024. If you choose to sideload the optional Google apps, it results in a typical stock Android experience, just updated. In benchmarks Android 14 (via Lineage OS ver 21) was not slower than stock 12. So there you have an opinion of someone who doesn't (currently) worry about privacy or try to avoid Google, lol. I'm weird.
Great video dude, just a bit low volume. But it seems like there's a wide spread problem on youtube that there doesn't seem to exist a function to even out sound quality and volume.
Thanks man, and yeah it is a problem I had with my older videos. I didn't know how to boost the sound of my voice while also getting rid of background noise, I seem to have fixed it in my newer videos :)
ROMs aren't universal and so they have to be designed for specific devices. As a result, there's a limit to how many devices the developers can support. When I first installed LineageOS, I mistakenly used a ROM designed for the OnePlus 5 instead of the 5T. Even though they're very similar in terms of hardware, this was enough to cause things like the camera, microphone, and fingerprint sensor to not work.
Nowadays the biggest disadvantage of custom ROMs is banking apps refusing to work on them.
My one actually works, but sadly I can't root my phone otherwise it wouldn't work ;w;
Sabotage
In Kazakhstan mobile banking applications work at least on Pixel Experience

There's many root ways to pass safetynet also playstore certification

Fight against planned obsolescence !
It's nice to hear an opinion from a new perspective. Thanks for sharing!

For linux: just a virtual machine...
Hm, is custom ROM with openGapps safer at least than usual ROM? Unfortunately, mobile banking apps does not work without google services :(
It does you need research about how to bypass
@@poyocru Hm, I discovered that banking apps work with MicroG (I've installed Lineage OS for MicroG custom ROM)
More privacy-respecting, idk if it's necessarily safer in the sense that it's more secure
Stop complaining about volume, just increase it if you can't hear 🤷
Why doesn't it only install on certain phones???
