Love him or hate him, there will never be another Bernie Ecclestone. Today's bean counters who run F1 can't hold a candle to Bernie. He's a part of F1 history.
There is currently no one around today that has such a deep connection, history and knowledge of formula 1 than Bernie. Normal 'car collectors' may have a wealth of information and passion about their collection but Bernie was actually there when these cars and drivers were making history. Unique.
This collection deserves to be kept together, this deserves to be shown as a comprehensive collection of F1 vehicles of which there will never be another like this!!
Tom is a pure example of a man who does his homework the knowledge not just on this but all his cars is amazing & is well deserved of selling the collection! A great watch across all three videos so far!
The last part is the very best , talking about team orders. How he got around a driver that wouldn't move over , that's the Bernie who managed F1 for all those years.
Tom, thanks for doing this for all of us Ferrari owners (and nuts). I've seen a number of these Ferraris race in period at GP's but never thought I would see them all together. Bernie giving a snippet or two about the characters in F1 added so much to this video. Rob.
My gosh, that 65 312 is simply gorgeous. I would give up a kidney for that car. Thank you Tom for allowing us regular folks to experience the beauty and history of these race cars!
Ferrari has never left the party. The passion of racing superseded financial interest. There is no other car company with the same racing pedigree in the world and thats why Ferrari is fundamental for F1
Ricardo Patrese 1983 Italian GP. Qualified on Pole in his Brabham. Out of race after two laps with an engine problem. Piquet Wins the race in the Brabham from 5th position and goes on to win the Championship by two points. Well played Bernie
I’m fairly certain I could not bring myself to let that collection go . Bernie is F1 - it’s one thing to own a car but it’s another entirely to be passionately involved in its history with the car and the drivers . Possibly one of the best videos on TH-cam this yr
This is amazing. I'm overwhelmed by the cars. I love the way you gently and respectfully help Bernie along. He's still going well for his age though, wow.
Wow Wow Wow ... no words. As a F1 fan of 45 years this is just mindblowing, Bernie .. yes he has his faults but what a history he has to tell and maybe not to tell.
What a fabulous collection. Really amazing video with fascinating facts by the font of all knowledge Tom Hartley. Really enjoyed this , thanks for making it 👍
Wow, Just wow! Has to be one of the most interesting videos I’ve watched about ferrari f1 cars of old. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ecclestone in 1997 with Professor Sid Watkins at my restaurant in the South of Spain. Both real gentleman and more than happy to talk to a young me about everything F1. I also met John Surtees in Maranello. Again, a real gentleman and all friends of my late father, always happy to tell their stories of the past. Thank you Tom for this, (we have spoken before) it really is a gem of a video and I’ll share it with my sons to carry on the memories.
Beautiful video, seeing so many Ferraris listening to Bernie who has lived a life in the world of F1 I was moved, 10.51pm wonderful shot of the beautiful Ferraris Thanks for the video
Ferrari's motorsport legacy is unmatched. All those beautiful and historic red cars with the iconic prancing horse logo would make even the most ignorant car person weak at the knees. Absolutely incredible collection. I love all of them but the F2002 is certainly the most special one for me.
Congratulations to Mr. Ecclestone for the care and love towards these cars, they are the result of the work of many people as well as the passion of those who have had the pleasure and fortune of seeing them race.
I'm not a Ferrari fan at all, but Bernie's collection is outstanding. The history in those cars is incredible! Mr Surtees is in my top 5 all time great drivers/riders.
If these cars could speak, wow what a collection, I hope the collection can be kept together, and displayed. Tom Hartley junior perfect man for the job, his passion exceeds his ego to profit perfect person to sell these gems.
Love him or hate him, Bernie Ecclestone really is a remarkable individual. One of the sharpest minds alive today, and had a natural gift in his ability to read people, evidenced by giving opportunities to unknowns who went onto to deliver him huge success, and in many cases be cemented in history. Also, arguably the most gifted deal maker who ever lived. What a life this guy has led.
Just wow!! The first hand knowledge and insight, from decades upon decades at the vortex of F1, WOW! just WOW! And seeing the 246 Dino F1 reminds me that this is where it all started for me, my dad giving me a model car in the early 60's that I treasured for years, and have deep powerful memories of that first toy car.
Whether it's road cars or race cars, there has never been a decade with as many gorgeous cars as the 1950's. What an absolute golden period for motoring. My ultimate collection would be about 50 cars from the 50's and a McLaren F1 GTR in orange.
You should run an one hour special for each car here focus on engine, , design detailing and evolution one day compared wih competition, if I could ask Amazing job
An important part of history all in one room, it may never happen again. Well done. I work with Genesis and Jacky did some work with the brand. Legends!
Respect Tom, your knowledge is astounding & yes Mr. E should sell for the reasons laid bare in episode 1. Bernie shows such empathy & kindness to those in the racing world. Now I know why F1 did so well under his stewardship. Thanks for these posts, captivating.
Tom, all that was missing from this conversation was a cigar in one hand 🤚 & a good scotch in the other. What an amazing opportunity • only once in a lifetime
I love how enthusiastic you are about these race cars Tom. Your knowledge is incredible, you’ve done your research extremely well. Would I be correct to say that I would have seen G Berger fly past me in that 87/88c Ferrari in Adelaide when I was about 9 years old …? 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤣
Fantastic video. The wheels on the 312 must be the first use of the classic Ferrari 5 spoke alloy? Bernie my hero and Tom and your father I also admire a lot. Love your commitment to the classic market and such kudos for you to be able to handle the sale of this amazing collection.
Really enjoyed both those Bernie videos. As a huge Ferrari fan myself this video in particular is fantastic. Love to hear Bernie’s stories. A remarkable character who I could listen to all day

Arguably one of the greatest car related TH-cam uploads of all time!
Thanks very much!
" we never had team orders ", just those sabotage orders. Brutal Bernie
Just mesmerizing, no other words. Thank you for sharing the cars and stories to the both of you. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it
This collection deserves to be kept together, this deserves to be shown as a comprehensive collection of F1 vehicles of which there will never be another like this!!

A great watch across all three videos so far!
Some of the best car content on TH-cam right now. Keep going!
Wow, thanks!
This is truly special. You chose the right music. What a car collection. Super super special this is.
Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal content, production quality, whole 9 yards. After each video, leaves me waiting non patiently for the next.....
The last part is the very best , talking about team orders. How he got around a driver that wouldn't move over , that's the Bernie who managed F1 for all those years.

Tom shows us how much he cares about these cars ,plus knows the best stories about each one!
My gosh, that 65 312 is simply gorgeous. I would give up a kidney for that car. Thank you Tom for allowing us regular folks to experience the beauty and history of these race cars!
These videos have been an absolute pleasure to watch. What a lovely gentleman with a stunning collection. Very much looking forward to the sale.

Goosebumps upon goosebumps. Wow 🤯 what a collection.
"Just fill his car with half a tank"
Absolutely ruthless 🤣🤣🤣🤣
These should all go to a single museum, not sold to different people.
So then buy them and donate them.
Yes, the Ferrari museum in Maranello. There all these Ferraris would be taken care of in the best possible way.
They are not going for auction. Bernie is selling to only who he wants. Many of them might go to the same place
totally agree!!
In Maranello back
Wow Wow Wow ... no words. As a F1 fan of 45 years this is just mindblowing, Bernie .. yes he has his faults but what a history he has to tell and maybe not to tell.
This demonstrates not only one of the world’s greatest collections, but also the knowledge that Tom has - the reason he is the best in the business.
I would pay to see them all together and walk alongside these beautiful machines.
me too
So much history under one roof.
Its so surreal seeing these cars not in black and white colors, absolutely beautiful.
Encyclopaedic knowledge right there. Some special cars being sold by the best person to do the job. Congrats 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Much appreciated!
Quickly becoming my favourite automotive channel on TH-cam. What a collection that is.
Thanks a lot! More videos coming!
What a fabulous collection. Really amazing video with fascinating facts by the font of all knowledge Tom Hartley. Really enjoyed this , thanks for making it 👍
Our pleasure!
Great tribute and nice of you to mention Rubens as well. He definitely deserved more in Ferrari!
Beautifully lit, excellent videography, up to par with the collection. A little video treasure. Thanks to all involved. Grazie mille!

Two men with a huge mountain of F1 knowledge. I used to love seeing the D50 Lancia Ferrari race back in 1955. ❤
Ferrari raced with the Lancia chassis in 1956 not 1955.
Beautiful video, seeing so many Ferraris listening to Bernie who has lived a life in the world of F1 I was moved, 10.51pm wonderful shot of the beautiful Ferraris
Thanks for the video
Brilliant History Well done Tom Hartley and Bernie Ecclestone fantastic Video

Sf16-h is my fav f1 car ,childhood memories
Tom's heart skipped a beat when Bernie said "I may not sell it"
THj's boundless knowledge blows me away.
Suspect Ferrari may buy some of these back themselves
Congratulations to Mr. Ecclestone for the care and love towards these cars, they are the result of the work of many people as well as the passion of those who have had the pleasure and fortune of seeing them race.
I'm not a Ferrari fan at all, but Bernie's collection is outstanding. The history in those cars is incredible! Mr Surtees is in my top 5 all time great drivers/riders.
Great quality video with a living legend and only 43k subscribers! That won’t last long with this type of content.

Absolutely loved watching this - just brilliant
Getting to talk and hear the stories that Bernie might have about the sport has to be the biggest honor a fan can have
Great Video Tom, I enjoy your relationship with Bernie too. What a collection!
I heard stories of "Bernie's Shed" years ago, how fantastic to get a glimpse of these vehicles.
Thank you Bernard and Thomas,Fantastic feeling looking at these cars,I went to Brands hatch , on the train as a 16 year old on the train. Berlisimo
This collection is priceless as a whole.
These videos with the great man will go down in the history books. Truly fantastic.
Beanie Eccleston the F1 guru. A legend who has seen a timeliness of Ferrari heritage and who has lived and breathed F1❤
That d50! I know there are no originals, but perfection.
Dear Tom, thanks for sharing this amazing chat with the great guy. Applauses from Argentina q👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Tom I know you will say you are just doing your job etc etc but your knowledge is phenomenal!
Cheers!
Absulute brilliant content guys I didn't want this video to stop .thumbs-up from pete here at U8V Manchester
Cheers! More to come!
Tom's knowledge is very impressive and shows his true love of the cars. I doubt many other dealers would come close
And that's why he's got the gig...
Wow great work Tom. You're continuing to evolve! Which is great, I'm definitely gonna keep latched onto this channel whoever's new.
The 1988 F1-87/88C is truly a work of art. For me along with the 1991 MP4/6, they are some of the greatest looking cars F1 will have ever created.
What a special video. Thank you for this
An amazing collection. For those of us with zero finances to possibly buy one, it’d be really interesting to see what they actually sell for - please!
At the rear, we can see the big Vanwall. remember Stuart Lewis Evans who died in Morocco, in 1958. Bernie was his team manager;

This is History.
What an impressing illustration of time passing by. Keep on Bernie 🏁🖖
This collection needs to be kept in tact. So much history here. Thank you Bernie 🙌🏻🙏🏻
it should be in museum😢
An important part of history all in one room, it may never happen again. Well done. I work with Genesis and Jacky did some work with the brand. Legends!
THIS IS INCREDIBLE!! What sport has a greater historical relevance to human innovation than F1!?. Tragic, thrilling, and fascinating like no other.
Would love a pint with Bernie ‘ what a great historian.
So nice, was looking forward to this!
That was fucking glorious, Tom and Bernie. Thank you. Well done.
Bossman Bernie Ecclestone was, is, and always will be a legend.
I had no idea Bernie had acquired so many cars..quite fantastic.
Who else would have a collection like that
Surely the best colllection ever ?
Tom is intursted in the best negotiating man in F1
Thank you to both
Respect Tom, your knowledge is astounding & yes Mr. E should sell for the reasons laid bare in episode 1. Bernie shows such empathy & kindness to those in the racing world. Now I know why F1 did so well under his stewardship. Thanks for these posts, captivating.

Nice to see Bernie in good health enjoying himself
Tom, all that was missing from this conversation was a cigar in one hand 🤚 & a good scotch in the other. What an amazing opportunity • only once in a lifetime

Fun fact… Thin Wall bearings was bought by MAHLE which is a logo on Ferrari F1 cars to this day. Still supplying their bearings
Truly inspiring..thank you gentlemen
Fantastic video. The wheels on the 312 must be the first use of the classic Ferrari 5 spoke alloy? Bernie my hero and Tom and your father I also admire a lot. Love your commitment to the classic market and such kudos for you to be able to handle the sale of this amazing collection.
Really enjoyed both those Bernie videos. As a huge Ferrari fan myself this video in particular is fantastic. Love to hear Bernie’s stories. A remarkable character who I could listen to all day
