I just love the panda king in all of this. After he joins, everytime they do something weird his expressions are like: "Why the f*ck am i doing this again?"
Something I noticed just now: Each person they recruit is a different era of the Cooper Gang's life. Murray being recruited is getting the original trio back together. The Guru was the newest ally, a friend of a friend. Penelope is a new adversary, seeking someone worthy of her skills. Panda King is an old foe from the original game, just as Demitri is an old foe from the second game. Old friend, new friend, new foe, old foe from 1, and old foe from 2.
Somebody here is a fan of Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper and Ratchet & Clank at the same time? If yes, thumbs up and like if you want a game, which is simmilar to those games and it's different that P.S.M Heroes shit.

I’m not sure whether making the panda king team up with Sly’s gang was a great idea, I mean he straight-up MURDERED Sly’s dad (something he never really apologised for) and tries to kill Sly just because he wanted to blow stuff up with his fireworks! Besides, wasn’t he arrested? What I think would have worked was having Jing king possibly be the newer demolitions expert member of the team. They could have kept the uncertainty in Sly because “Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” and Jing King could not have been so useless in the game. This is just my thought, though. I love the Sly Cooper games, though.

Damn it....now I'm conflicted on if they should make a sly 5. On one hand? I'd love to see and meet more of the ancestors but on the other hand? The writers probably throw in a heavy two ending; do you save sly's parents rendering all of his past accomplishments moot? Or do you let his father die knowing how it's for the best in the end?
Oh so the whole paradox/butterfly effect theory. Where one action in the past could ripple and cause changes to the present. I mean yeah, this idea isn't new, mulitple kinds of media has done the idea and they all have ideas that through action or inaction, the future could end up bright or dark, with events leading up the future becoming altered as a result.

When did Sly go? Does Penelope realize that she was wrong? Is Sly going to return to the present, and if so, how? Better yet, are we going to get any more info on his dad? If Sly 5 is going to be a thing, there better not be any Deus Ex Machina answering these questions.
I actually don't remember almost anything about Thieves in Time, it's the only Sly game I haven't replay it or try to complete it at 100%; that's how unimpressive was to me. Of all the thing you listed, the one I'm looking more for is Sly's father, his gang and their exploits. Like, the third game seems to imply tha Dr. M was consumed by envy and was just shit-talking Sly's dad... but maybe his suggestions that his father wasn't a good guy at all were true. Maybe both: perhaps Sly's dad being a jerk towards Dr. M or in general just aggravated his sense of underappreciation, making him the way he was in Honor Among Thieves. Really, isn't necessary but I would like to see it. I want to see how and when Sly met McSweeney, and how he felt about Sly's father. Even Sly acknowledged that his father may not have been the nicest of guys, so Dr. M could have implanted the seed of doubt in Sly, making him question what kind of man his Dad really was. Or maybe he doesn't give a fuck, that would also make sense for Sly character. But I do think you could build a story about the quest of knowing Sly's dad and his past; McSweeney is still alive, so that's a good starting point. Although I know the ending of Thieves in Time doesn't seem to make room for such a story, and continue with the time-traveling gimmick, which I really hope they drop for Sly 5. About Penelope, I think a good ending for that arc would be Penelope realizing she was wrong, apologize, Bentley forgiving her but not letting her return to the band. Seems a good and logical thing to settle thing back, and I think Penelope would understand why Bentley doesn't want her in the band anymore, even when he doesn't hate her or hold a grudge. I really wish for REAL involvement of Sucker Punch in the making of Sly 5. I understand that they can't or want to develop a new Sly game but at least writing it, and maybe Character Design. Someone like Dimitri couldn't have never come from Sanzaru (in fact, wasn't that bear guy in the prehistoric stage a bad attempt at Dimitri?) Sorry for my bad english and the wall of text :P

I genuinely love how the cut scenes were the panda king is introduced has a Chinese drama vibe to it. Even down to the instruments that are being played that are used in traditional Chinese dramas.
