- France have been crowned 2022 Guinness Six Nations champions after defeating England in Paris to secure their first title and Grand Slam since 2010.
Les Bleus completed a memorable clean sweep with a 25-13 victory over England, having been pushed all the way by Ireland after Andy Farrell’s men beat Scotland earlier in the day.

I'm as patriotic an Englishman as you'll find but you can only respect this France team. They were clearly deserving winners. We might have a friendly rivalry and also been at war in the past, but after spending a few wonderful years living in France, more than ever I consider them allies and friends. I'd argue that it isn't about risk, France are so well drilled now that their 'champagne rugby' brand of playing doesn't come with the same risk it used to. Fantastic team effort,magnificent to watch in attack and defence.
Much is made about France's defence and quite rightly so however, we should also credit their attack. Simply sublime, the passes creating space all over the park, the ball carriers winning the contact on nearly every occasion. England looked shattered and beaten by the start of the 4th quarter.
Theyre a genuinely complete team, no obvious weakness atall. I say this as an Englishman, there was a part of me that was glad France won, as everyone is saying it has been a long time coming. Vive la france.

The English media is going barmy at the moment, calling for Eddie Jones head. This has been a disappointing tournament and something has to change, but its typical of our media. When we lose it has to be because we were awful, but that doesn't give France the credit they deserve. Best team in the world, and by some margin...

It seems fascinating that this rivalry has existed as long as both countries exist with only a shallow river between them. At least this way is a lot less bloody. And opponents get to dish out their "vengeance" regularly as opposed to the one time deal that they have been familiar with in the past.
As an American rugby is a fascinating sport. I can't compare it to our tackle football 🏈. But they're is similarities. I wish our audiences would appreciate it more. It seems like a sport that teaches discipline, strength, willpower, and toughness.

What any coach does... Keep working on the team. France have a much more settled side than England who have been adding a lot of youth to their squad. The next 6N will be extremely interesting as Ireland and France are on top form and England are starting to surge back up again.

Fabien Galtier à mis en place une façon de jouer au rugby, qui est accès, sur la vitesse de déplacement, et toujours avancer , ensuite une ligne de barbeler en défense.

Only French people can be Frenchmen, just like only Japanese people can be Japanese. Only Anglo-Maori people can be Kiwis and only Anglo-Aboriginals can be Aussies. People playing as national representatives for nations they never had a hand in creating and building should be sent back to play for their own countries. That includes pacific Islanders playing for Australia and New Zealand and Kiwis playing for Japan.
