- The XP-55 in War Thunder is a premium aircraft in the US tech tree. This experimental plane is one of the weirdest things in the game.
Don't let the XP55 looks fool you. It's one of the best planes in the game pound for pound for Air Realistic. Not only that, with the recent buff of the US 20mm it's now a fantastic close air support fighter that can pretty much knock out any vehicle at its battle rating.
At 4.0 I brought out the Sherman M4A2 to compliment it. Probably my favourite tank at this BR. The M4A2 is bristling with additional track armour. It sports the M3 75mm a gyro stabiliser and an upgraded engine. The armour layout is difficult to deal with at all ranges but not impossible. The additional track armour can cause a lot of issues for enemies trying to penetrate you.
The M4A2 & XP-55 are an amazing combo and this video proves it!

Who else here from Phly? I started watching Odd a few months back after he played with Phly and have been loving Odd ever since
I found Odd a while back suggested with Oxy and Bo Time Gaming and have been really enjoying his vids. Phly is a snake and I had blocked his videos a long time ago, so no, Phly gets no credit at all from me on any WT content I watch. Him and baron von gamz were the 2 that I first started watching a few years ago when war thunder was pretty new and they were about all there was except Jingles, but I cant tolerate his laughing before and after everything he says or everything that happens. I felt both Phly and Baron went downhill badly and quickly. If you're very young I guess I could see the appeal of baron and phly though. Not being sarcastic, I just think they gear their content more towards the 10-12 yr old crowd who maybe play a lot of WT being that it's a free game. I should also add I would not be good at making TH-cam content which is why I don't do it as I don't like most people and I'm old and angry and most people don't like me. So I can appreciate what they do even though I may or may not like it. Except Phly.

Intro’s never disappoint, another great video. You should play the T34 and M56 with the AD-4.

Or the M50, that thing is so wobbly, yet if you get a nice spot where you don't have to move, it's basically the pyramid of doom
I'd say replace the M56 with the T92.

Can you please try USA 3.7 lineup. It has M10 GMC, M4A1 Sherman, M4 Sherman, M24 Chaffee and F6F-5 for CAS. U can also use p51 or other fighter to clear enemy planes. This is my personal favorite lineup and its very effective. Attempt #2
He can use the M4A5 too!
Yeah this is one of the best lineups in game it just rakes in the kills
I use m22 instead of m24 and since I'm not a plane person last slot is m16
This brings me back to when the M4A2 was 3.7, those were good days

I love the fact that you do mainly long videos - Noone on TH-cam does that too much anymore - Like you, Im usually eating, drinking coffee, or trying to focus on something to keep me occupied for a while - I dont like the videos Im watching to be as long as the ads that appear in the video.

I was in that Alaska game this morning. It was epic. I came home from the pub drunk last night and had a monster long WT sesh playing Britain. I was flying the Tempest Vickers P in a few games but we never had any fighters going for air superiority so it was frustrating as i kept getting hounded by fighters, so i eventually swapped over to the 3.7 Spitfire to do just that. This Alaska game i was in the Crusader AA but my work was cut out for me with the best CAS i had seen all night/morning. I retired to bed after that game. I was Readers_Wives, making the badly spelt Scottish phrase in chat. Instead, i should of asked wether you sat on a bucket for your computer seat?
Every time 50s rock music plays, you know it's going to be a field day.

keep up the long ones. People can always bug out if it's too long for them, but watching it twice, just to make it longer, doesn't really work, quite as well :) the output your giving us is well worth watching for the full 30-40 min

Also Odd in addition to the combo videos being more content, I love them because it kinda brings some realism to the game. Not quite sure how to explain but like a panzer with a bf109 etc etc just really tickles my peach huh

I love this lineup. If I look at the stats of my vehicles, you can clearly see that in RB, the M4A2 is the top played vehicle, being the only vehicle that I have over 17 kills in RB with. Now because I'm poor I replaced the XP-35 with the A-36, which is a whole BR lower but is still good.

Sorry, all short-video people, the longer format is JUUUSSSTTTT right . Its amazing content beginning to end. Nothing decompresses me more from a long stressful day in the Gulag i call a job than sitting down with a bit to eat and A FEW glasses of Johnny Black and watching an OddBawZ vid. The longer format allows me to get the first few big gulps down in the ramped-up intro then allows me to enjoy the "glow" sipping away for the remainder of the almost hour long therapy session.

Congrats on the 25k! Might I suggest trying out the chi-he from the Japanese? I’ve been having a lot of fun with it lately. Ki-43 II can take 2 250kg bombs at the same br. Pretty fun imho
hey odd, if you have it the french yak 3 is very fun, possibly one of the fastest props at 4.0, and it makes a great lineup with the m4a4 and arl44-acl1. the shvak cannon on the yak can even take out engines on things like panthers and jumbos. just be careful with that yak in a dive, it likes to rip its wings.
