AMELIA, ROSS AND EWAN SUPER TRAINEE CUSTOM ANIMATION FIRE EMBLEM MICROHACKING

- Hello everyone, this is next chapter of Microhacking, were I add what people asks me, or just things that F8, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones Lacked.
But for now, Kronos, this is the last request I take from you, I usually take one per person so...You will have to wait if you want something more. (My bad, Didn't realize this was your seccond until I finished it)
This time we go to the super Trainees, they were quite the cool concept back in the day, BUT, the animation was the same.
Now we partialy solve that issue, adding custom animations for Tier one and Tier Two Trainees, getting custom animations for Amelia and Ewan, and for Ross we got only a custom animation for Tier 2 promotion.
The animations were made by:
Amelia - T1 Spud, T2 Spud, TBA, Black Mage, Temp, Wan
Ewan - T1 GabrielKnight, T2 Greentea, DerTheVaporeon and palletes by me.
Ross- Waleed, Maiser6, Zomaxiee
Now a quick summary of what this hack cointains so far:
1.- Paladins can use axes now, Great Knights get +1 movement
2.-Marisa gets a proper custom animation for the assasin class
3.-We got Sophia in FE8 with a custom spell and a custom animation for the summoner class
5.- And now we added custom animations for super Trainees on Tier one and two for Amelia and Ewan and for Tier 2 for Ross. Also they get their Japanese version max stats on their classes.

Super trainee Ross is a tiny Berserker. I love it!
And Amelia is a cool looking Solider and ewan a cool sage
Finally I can promote Ross without making him awkwardly too muscular(Berserker/Warrior) than his father(can even be a wimpy no-muscle Hero) and what his portrait shows. No more SAIDO CHESTO!
I mean you can make Ross a hero instead.
I love this, finally a reason to use those classes

Super Trainees already exists on the vanilla game (you can get them after clearing the game 2 times), but their sprites and animation is exactly the same as a normal trainee

I love it! These are very beautiful. I searched up "Fire Emblem refurbished sprites" and there is a certain refurbished fighter class sprite that might work for Ross. I'm no animator but I think that would work well.
Can you share it? It's not complete is it?
So this is basically how Amelia is like in Heroes, and if Ewan and Ross were in it as well.
idea for micro hacking: make the bard train from mangs a literal train.
id like to see the crit animation just running them over with the train.
and the normal attack animation a collective notes all the bards play and hit the enemy. id laugh my ass of that if you'd make that.

@@Marlon-LouisFE I was thinking about a class that uses swords and axes. Like you would have a choice between her Knight Lord class, and the differnent class. Something along those lines
Idea: Make it so the Summoner class can summon different random units like Mages, Mercenaries, Thieves, Soldiers, Arches, etc... Even Monsters would be cool!

Theoretically it's possible. Just highly involved and would take a while. You can also use the mass summon Fimortiis uses as a template to summon a bunch of stuff.
@@TragGaming Have you played Langrisser II? It's a Turn-based Tactic rpg for the SNES; pretty much similar to Fire Emblem. In that game each Character has 1-6 soldiers around them that count as individual expendable units. The class of these units would depend on the class of the main character (I.e. A Paladin would have Cavaliers as units, Rangers would have Archers, etc.).
Could something like that be replicated in FE?
@@4Rurik that would be slightly more difficult as the units summoned are tied directly to the skill rather than the class, so DemonLord's summon skill is different from the Summon skill we get via Lyon/Summoners. You would have to theoretically make a different summon skill for every class in the game, and theres not that many skill ID open to begin with.

Keep up the great work! Im not sure if youve done this before but is there any way we could play as characters who are normally unplayable? Mainly all the enemy bosses like nergal or somethin lol ik creature campaign allows it but on storyline?

Im playing a hack where they made Amelia's halberdier path have that animation, there was a third promotion path with soldier then halberdier/dragoon or sometjing like that
Totally late to the party here, but how about changing the names of their unique classes as they promote to the higher tier? Even something as bland as Recruit+ and Recruit++ would be nice. No clue what that entails, so I will stop there.

@@Marlon-LouisFE Well that's my one good idea for the month! If different names altogether are no harder to create, I have some ideas:
Amelia: Recruit > Trooper or Lancer > Veteran
Ross: Journeyman > Adept > Professional
Ewan: Pupil > Scholar > Savant or Philosopher
You get the idea. Different class names really add some spice to go along with the better stats and new sprite animations.

Amelia's sprite looks like a Monster Hunter in the series
Halberdier.
1. You could possibly add Daggers into the mix as a netural weapon like in Fire Emblem Heroes
2. Add the bandit class as a possible promotion like that one guy from Fe7
3. Have a Lunatic difficulty mode instead of just normal hard that includes higher enemy accuracy, harder to level up but more stat growths, weapons are harder to break, damage from enemy's is increased, more enemy's on one map
4. Add some of the newer classes from more recent GBA games
5. Add monsters as recruitable units, and allow them to promote into different monsters if at all possible.
6. Add a Zombies mode of sorts. See how long one can survive in waves were the enemy's get increasingly powerful, and you get cash for defeating each enemy which allows you to visit shops and buy better weapons and uses. I.E kind of like Black Ops 2.
Love your work man. I grew up with this game and this hack is looking amazing. Hopefully I gave you a few ideas you can use in the future. If this gets finished, I might do a playthrough of it on my channel.
That's a whole lot of requests lol, I think I can handle daggers and increased difficulty, the newer classes depend if there are any animations available, since I don't have much time to make them from scratch
It was just some general ideas. I tried to make it to some stuff you might be able to manage.

No te preocupes, si hablo Español, y bueno, descargar El parche que viene en El link, lo extraes usando Rar o WinRAR y parcheas tu Rom con NUPS o con Unipatcher. Unipatcher y Rar si juegas en tu cell, y WinRAR y NUPS para la computadora

When i played this game again in 2021 , it really doesn't feel like an old game. It pretty much feels like an indie game. Still i hope there would be a definitive edition of this game, like HD! :D

You can use them in normal game, you just need to keep promoting trainee to trainee

They use their original weapons, only Ewan gets access to dark and light magic

Nope, but you can use an older or current savefile on this game and then have them unlocked

Idea for this Microhack: Bring back the Bard class from FE6, and give it to that Brigand reinforcement from Ch.5 so he can be a bonus character (or give it to a lesser used unit, if the latter isn't possible).

Especially Ewan. He looks a bit like Arvis IMO and so grown up xD
But the other two are great as well. It fits very well for Amelia in Terms of the Name "Super" because back then as a normal soldier (Recruit is the Name in Germany) where she could barely hold her Lance and now she weilds that weapon like nothing and smashs it into the enemy Like Ephraim and the shield rounds it Up perfectly.
Would be cool to have the third Option but I like new Sprites even more. They add much more character to the Units.
Still though what was the problem with the Class Option? The fact that it was a third Option or are new Classes generally an issue?
For super Trainees...I couldn't figure it out, but, For the other classes and characters It's on the work
@@Marlon-LouisFE Ah that's cool. Because I might have an Idea but it is involving a special class so idk. Would it be possible to give Tethys a Promotion so she can use Swords like Olivia from Awakening for example? Or just giving her a weapon and better strength growths so she can defend herself a bit better. Sylvia from FE4 had acess to a sword that gave her more defense that way and I Always wondererd why they decided to remove weapon usabilitys from dancers and singers in the GBA Games. In any other games of the series they can wield a weapon. (only exception should be the Dancer from FE3 but she can use Swords in the Remake as well) And I think everyone questioned already how a promotion of those Units could be like. Something with Magic would be cool because of Ewan too but I don't want to ask for to much. I think weapons for dancers would make a good addition to this series.

and yeah as for villains i wish there were a custom battle sprite animation for Limstella and Sonia cuz their potrait is sastifying enough for villains but their battle sprite are too beautiful and doesnt look evil at all when they were supposed to be ugly and evil looking but thats up to you its your videos i wont force you to do everything if its too much trouble^^
There are some sprites for Limstella lying around, so I could add them no problem

Just one suggestion, it Will be great of Ewan criticals:
1 combine between, Sage, druid, bishop critical at the same time (since he can use all magic kind)
Or
2, his critical just like sage's, but the 3 dots colored yellow, dark purple and red (sybolic of light dark anime he can use)
Hmm, the pallete limit is 16 colors, do the above is not really possible, and we can't change the color of the critical Runes/dots as far as I know

Can someone please explain to me how to patch this into my game? Currently using the TrashManU file for sacred stones
Cell or PC?
For Android you need to extract the file first using RAR, then you patch your trashman copy with Unipatcher. If you are on a PC, you need to extract the File using WinRAR and then patch using NUPS

Ewan's animation is actually a custom animation made for Erk.

Ewan just looked like a custom Sage sprite to me(like Lloyd, the Swordmaster in fe7)

Well, in the American version Amelia and Ross have extra crit, while Ewan gets access to light and dark magic

OMG, como se pueden conseguir esas unidades?, conozco el juego y se que esos son los 3 aldeanos del FE 8 pero no pensé que se pudieran promocionar así, lo mas curioso es que en estos momentos estoy volviendo a jugar ese FE y justo hoy me entere de que se podían promocionar de esa manera en una pagina echa por fans pero no creí que fuera cierto.

No, esto es un hack, puedes parchear tu Rom y usar tu savefile, siguen siendo compatibles
this is perfect i didnt see any differences between trainee and super trainee classes in the actual game wich was a letdown but now im glad this hack make them what they shouldve looked like if only the maker of this game wasn't too lazy to make a proper sprite for each unit like i found it lame that units with same classes has same sprite wich looks bland i found it wouldve been cool if the sprites matches more of the unit that was intended to look like in the wiki artwork and im most impressed with Marisa wich looks accurate on her actual look and especially amelia wich looks like a spitting image of her FE heroes artwork and i always wanted a different sprite for female armoured units in GBA series cuz in the actual one when they're all look alike the female armoured units looks too manly to be female in GBA series at least theres a custom sprite in awakening of female armoured unit in awakening i guess the sprite arts in the real GBA games are too lazy and thats why im a fan of yours cuz its exactly what ive expected to see^^

My Amelia died long ago ;_;
I really like ross i like amelia is good but i don't like ewan all round good but one thing all have is there animations they move like they have mastered it all ready they don't look like they are in training they look like they can teach how to use there weapons like make it so ross looks like he may drop the axe when swings the axe down or does it 2 handed i put this first so i don't need to repeat it.
i like ross the most do to it looks like he is in a training armor a lighter armor made to help the person in training to transition to the armor which is the Berserker armor.
amelia problem is the armor looks like a steel plate soldier armor a better armor than the normal gba soldier armor if you're going for general amelia make her have a bit smaller general chest plate and that's it have the the other parts be knight or base amelia. Ewan problem is he looks a sage with armor looks that would work way better with base sage or lyon like make ewan have less sage robes on him or have the robes a bit messy. But the animation by it self no ross and the other 2 or how there supposed to be trainees i wouldn't really have something to nag on.
But in short good animation all around but does not fit in context.
Well the deal with the super Trainees is to show their growth.
