That was a lovely story of Audrey Hepburn's father and her relationship with him. How sweet. To stay out of her life so as not to intrude with her stardom, that is a true Dad. When she was YOUNG, in Belgium, she was part of the underground during WWII. Simply stunning woman. ♥️☘️
Wow!! This cemetery is such a treasure trove of history!! It's not a place for a quick walk-through!! One would need several days for a thorough exploration!! Audrey Hepburn was a truly BEAUTIFUL woman as well as a BRILLIANT actress!! There are VERY few actresses of her calibre in this day and age!! Thanks for the AWESOME video, GV!! XXXX 👍💞🤗❤💕👏
Audrey was beautiful and elegant, probably taking after her mum who was a Duchess. So glad you found her dad in this enormous place GV. Take care you two!! Deb of Oz XXX
Brilliant video GV.. I love seeing old coffins. And something was trying to have a chat.. at least two voices. Feckin brilliant.. your a natural with the ghosts
GV this video was lovely and i love the elegant time of the Victorian era, Europe, etc. needed that after some bad times..the cemetary is so gorgeous, time worn. Have a great day and thank you.❤😊❤😊
Beautiful Cemetery, well kept. I heard quite a few EVPs throughout the video, I didn't timestamp any of them but I'm sure one of my fellow Viewers did. All in all another great video, cheers Cathal
TH-cam suggested your channel and I’m so glad it did, I’ve also loved old graveyards and cemeteries, in our Parish church yard is the prettiest grave with a round floral pattern made of bright coloured mosaics. Now I’m going to binge watch your videos.
This is a beautiful graveyard. The grave with the 3 coffins is gorgeous and the grave of Audrey's parents is beautiful. Thank you for showing us alI the crpt's I love them.❤❤❤❤
Hi GV Steve from England. I liked Audrey Hepburn brilliant actress. Never knew much about her , interesting all told great video. GV one question you said William Brook was born 1706 DIED 1881 did I miss something because that makes him 175 years old. Sorry I'm late I was watching darts final. Numbers going round in my head when I heard what you read out. Cheers mate.
This was a wonderful video. I had no idea that Audrey Hepburn had ties to Dublin. She was such a beautiful and talented lady that many don't see beyond her fame, What a nice thing her father did to protect her from any implications that he only wanted to know her because of her fame, But it's also sad as they lost many years of having a relationship together. I'm glad they finally did. This is a beautiful cemetery and would be a wonderful walk to discover what other stories might be there. Every cemetery has them. Thank you so much for showing us these places.
It is a very large cemetery but very beautiful just love the Angels so much History so much to see lovely video GV thanks for sharing were are the voices coming from hope they all rest in peace 🙏💐👍
Hi GV I've seen this video before but I'm watching it again because it's a beautiful cemetery and a great video thanks for sharing hi sue nice to see you there take care 👍
Very full cemetery there, gravesites are close together. Interesting about the Hepburn family connection. Love these walks.Thank you for the time you spend to share with us on the other side of the world.❤
Thank you for your interesting commentary, which I really enjoyed listening to. You have a beautiful Irish lilt to your voice and you sound as if you might be a good singer. Stay safe and keep well. Zora in Australia
Very interesting cemetery, seems to be well cared for. The Findlater burial place is particularly interesting. You wonder how so many people were buried there, perhaps there is a large underground vault. So many other interesting monuments, including Audrey Hepburn's father. Great walking tour, thank you very much GV and Sue. Have a great day. 😊
Thank you GV for another interesting video, and thank you for pausing at the John and Alice Freeman monument. The angel and cross are so beautiful! Best regards to you from California USA.
Yet again, a lovely adventure around a fascinating Graveyard. Every one of them has secrets never to be told. Interesting Tombs and as always, your beautiful Irish accent makes these videos even more watchable - thank you. Take care 🙂
Excited every time I watch the video. Every information was detailed and the sound. 16:07 It was as if we had entered another dimension. You are the one who took us. get to see and experience With that atmosphere, wow, it's really great. 👍
Such a beautiful cemetery! I love Audrey Hepburn, I'm a big old movie fan. I especially love the old black and white horror movies, Vincent Price is my favorite! Love from Connecticut❤
Mine too. “House of Wax” and “Dr Phibes”. Although, don’t know what possessed my dad to take me at the age of 8 to see Audrey Hepburn in “Wait Until Dark”. 😬
From what little I know there can often be a space at the back or side of a vault that remains are pushed into as the coffins decay etc. That could explain why you only see two coffins in the space. No expert but just a possibility is all.
Hello GV, Thank you for another wonderful video. Love how you put the pictures of the people you talk about on the videos as well; I have never heard of Lead coffins until I watched your videos along with watching Serenity Sue's. Do they still use lead coffins? The Statue with the lady and two children was very nice. Keep up the good work. Jean Crosby Nashville TN USA
Glad you like them!, their coffins are lined with lead in order to slow decomposition. The lead seals the coffin and prevents moisture from getting in, preserving the body for up to a year.
Good job mate! I hope thay wasn't a human bone stickin outta the ground! I couldn't tell. Pretty eerie that real deep vault! I haven't seen one like that before. The bones scattered around the two coffins is pretty bad. I wonder if they are 'remnants' of previous burials below? I hit the 'toms up' button for ya GV!😊!
Thank you very much for sharing this video 📹. I like it when you show the inside of a mausoleum and point out the flowers what a interesting find. Does that Church that rang the bells belong to the graveyard ? Thanks again and have a wonderful day from Marie in Northern British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
What a great video and really enjoyed the history on Audrey Hepburn's father. Cathal, Audrey Hepburn's son Miguel died about 12 years ago , and is buried in Los Angeles California.
Paul, if you and Sue have not read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, I highly recommend it. Inspired by the Jungle book but set in a graveyard. Won awards and so good. Changed my perspective on graveyards and appreciation of the history there forever! ❤
That's such an interesting story regarding Audrey Hepburn's father. I'm glad you explained it because I know Audrey Hepburn was English, so I was surprised that her father was buried in an Irish cemetery.
Aww this was an interesting one . I loved Audrey Hepburn...my auntie always called me audrey as a child because she said I looked like her..( soon changed lol) ..thankyou ❤
Who else watches these right before bed as your trying to fall asleep? It's very interesting and peaceful with the birds. 🕊️ 🪦

Yes they have a Victorian church in the cemetery. Up to 10 funeral services a day or more
The 3 lead coffins look like Vamp Coffins ⚰️ 😮
A wonderful place! They managed to take a respectable portion of it with them (sort of).
