  • 💦 Deepest Lake in America 💦
🏞 Welcome to Oregon’s only National Park - Crater Lake! Not only is it the deepest lake in America but is also one of the most pristine lakes in the world. The water that resides in Crater Lake comes strictly from rainfall and snowmelt which makes it cleaner than the water coming from your faucet! The name is misleading because the lake is not actually a “crater” but in fact an active volcano atop Oregon’s Cascade Mtn range which collapsed inward over 7,000 years ago. This magical beauty of this place is truly awe inspiring!
We’ve put together a 2-day itinerary for anyone interested in visiting. We arrived just after the “busy season” which meant some parts of the park were closed unfortunately but we got as much covered as we could!
    Day 1
    ✅ Rim Village Visitors Center
✅ Sun Notch Trail (0.8 miles)
✅ Lady of the Woods Trail (0.8 miles)
✅ The Pinnacles Trail (0.4 Miles)
    ✅ Phantom Ship Overlook
    ✅ Pumice Castle Overlook
    Day 2
✅ Cleetwood Cove Trail down the Crater Lake (2.2 miles)
    ✅ Wizard Island Overlook
✅ Crater Lake Lodge (Food & Drink)

Love your videos! We went to Crater Lake Park several years ago but only saw a small part of of it so really enjoyed your tour. When we were there the view was very moving & serene. Keep up the great work!

Love your adventures, if you could tell us if dogs are allowed? You know Cinder loves a good hike!!!

We are in our last week of my wife’s contract in NH and it’s amazing how many stars you can see here. So much more than what you see in Indiana.

That’s awesome! One of our favorite parts of traveling in being in places without ambient light

Unfortunately I don’t believe dogs are allowed in this one 😞

Love this place! And on a clear day you can see Mt. SHASTA down in California. Most beautiful place.

Planning on going to Crater Lake next month? Is the road really steep?
    Thanks for this video btw.

If you driving or towing an RV it can be a bit steep but totally doable with the correct tow vehicle. Hope you enjoy that magical place!

Fun fact; the boat captains that pilot the tour boats have to make that hike every single day.

Haha. I hadn’t thought of that. They must be fit. 💪

I hope you are making enough money from your videos, to offset the camping expenses.
