How can I export the portrait depth map I created in Volumax and use it in photoshop?
Hello and thank you for your purchase. To see the depth map go in the "Paint Depth Map" button. Then export the image with AE. 😉

To be honest I don't know... Volumax generates depth maps (you can export them) then creates animations.
We can download depthmap images also?

Why the video file i obtain with volumax (1920x1080) is so heavy: 700 Mo for 5 mn.
Thank you for your purchase. Because 5 minutes is very long... and size depends of your export settings (codec) in After Effects or Adobe Media Encoder, not VoluMax.
@@Cream-FX sorry i want to say 5 seconds not 5 mn. Is it normal ? What is the approximative size of the file of 5 seconds (1920x1080) obtained with volumax with the default settings in after effects encoder ?
My setup doesn't look like yours. i dont have "photo/bg/setip" boxes in my view port...neither do i have smart objects...what am I missing here?

Hello. It's difficult to answer that question, sunglasses are easy of course and can be setup like an object in front of the face. For transparent glasses there might be artefact/déformations. In some cases they can be detached from picture and added as a 3d object in a layer but it can be challenging.
So you need Photoshop to do this
No there is no need using Photoshop to work with Volumax Portrait, that's the point ! 100% AE
