- Nissan was at the forefront of the Electric Car revolution, but hasn't done much since. Their next-generation EV gets the TestDrive treatment, with the 2023 Nissan Ariya Evolve+ FWD.
This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. This week James is behind the wheel of the 2023 Nissan Ariya Evolve+, it's near the top end of the trim selection for this EV, and comes as a FWD setup. AWD is available on this trim. James goes over the technical specifications of this electric SUV and some of the design choices Nissan went with on the exterior. He goes over the front and rear end design along with the battery and motor specifications.
We jump inside the 2023 Nissan Ariya to see what the rear seat space is like for passengers, then get behind the driver's seat to see how the front feels. We go over the features and tech found on this EV and some of the things that help separate this from other Nissan models, along with other EVs on the market.
James then take the 2023 Nissan Ariya on a real-world road test to talk about the overall performance, drive, ride, and handling of this vehicle, along with the energy efficiency he's experienced with it.

We own this Nissan Ariya Evolve. Do you know how to keep this beautiful EV UNLOCKED while in our garage?? When we want to go into the EV to get items we forgot to bring in the house the car is LOCKED therefore we must carry our keys with us. Please advise.
Only thing I can suggest is check the key settings through the infotainment, usually there's an option to automatically lock when the keyfob leaves which you should be able to turn off.
Wondering if these will be cheap on the used market like the leaf
Could be, only time will tell. Considering these are quite a bit more than the Leaf was/is it might make adoption slower versus the Leaf when it launched.
#Ariya 😎👌with #e4ORCE 🏆💪
Nissan has a storage tray to separate the drive and passenger foot wells
Is it an accessory? Or something that should be included that was just missing from this vehicle?
@@PRNTestDrive it is listed on the Nissan accessory web site it has to be dealer installed it goes from the front the of the consul to the light under the dash
Fair enough. Should be something that's included on the higher trims as far as we're concerned.
I enjoyed reviewing the car the battery in my view needs to improve
Considering how long Nissan's been in the EV game you'd think they'd be a bit further ahead with their technology.

Door handles? How gauche!
