The holes completely cut out are not causing a louder tone. They are a visual help for the Pianolist which notes are accentuated by the parallel cut "snake bite• whole on the far left or right which operate a system part called Themodist. It allowes a Pianolist to accentuate these notes by kicking the pedals harder if the pianola is not equipped with a Themodist device.

fantastisch, die falschen Töne werden abgesaugt, nur die schönen bleiben übrig und kommen zu Gehör 💁
Das Problem ist nur, wohin mit all den vollen Staubsaugerbeuteln. Vielleicht könnte ich es an eine Musikschule schicken zum recyceln 🙂

I don't think so, the pianola system was not made by Steinway and also buult in other Pianos
